Which mutation is your favorite? 🤔
Don't forget to visit my channel for more videos :)
i love black black-faced
All the colour mutations.
I have two rainbow budgies. 😍
Rainbow budgie
Purple and white
all of them
Feather duster budgies 😢 weak, can't fly and die young... and all because they are fancy in humans' eyes. Poor babies! 😔
Yep this mutation should be forbidden to breed
@@itsTiffany12 don't get why people even want these to exist what are they getting from a pet that lives one year
That mutation budgie never breeded
I think that breed happens on accident and is tried to be avoided because of their short age.
@@itsTiffany12 it’s not a mutation it’s the bird
Don’t care about how budgies look. The important is theirs caracteres, and we need to make sure that They have a good life ( i feel SO sorry for the Long feathered one :-( ! )
So true !
Yeah same
badjy buddyh
I agree with with u I have one blue and white my little cutie
I love the violet budgies. Violet is one of my favorite colors too, and I love the little purple cheeks :D
Edit: 2 months later.. I.. I have done it. I FINALLY GOT A BUDGIE.
Nice to see chimeras included, it is rare but happens with almost all organisms as a result of two different DNA merging, I've actually even seen a Madagascar hissing Cockroach chimera, one side was light brown and the other dark brown it was beautiful. Hermaphrodite is possible in chimera too because of the double DNA.
Budgies are native to Australia and can be seen in in rural areas in large flocks. While traveling through Victoria as a child I was looking out the window and saw this amazing bright green tree which stood our from all the others, I pointed it out to my Mum, Dad and siblings only to watch in awe as all the leaves flew away!
It was a dead gum tree covered with our native green budgerigars my dad explained.
I'm in my late 60s now and that memory is still vivid to this day.
Later married with children of my own we had "Bluey" who was a great talker, I had mentioned my husband had developed a smokers cough, he denied it and I went on to say that even Bluey was now coughing at him. Next morning he went into the kitchen and Bluey started coughing then I heard "an you can shut up too"!
Great memories and lovely video, TFS 💓🇦🇺
I created a large colony for my birds, the video of which I uploaded.
Australia is flooded with animals
God is real how could something so complex like the universe and humans be made from bacteria or rocks or evolution we just couldn’t God made it all🎉
how could the things that people say made the universe get here is there was nothing God made it all so many prophecies are being filled from revelations telling us that Jesus is coming back they are happing right now in the world he loves and cares
@@Birdscareinformation how could the things that people say made the universe get here is there was nothing God made it all so many prophecies are being filled from revelations telling us that Jesus is coming back they are happing right now in the world he loves and cares
Feather dusters is not intentionally bred, they appear very seldom in breeding work of show budgies, no one, including the breeder is happy when it occurs. Poor birds.
Just like peanut bunnies in dwarf lop breeding, poor little things
Still the result of inbreeding to get other traits. While the mutation is not intentional, the inbreeding that makes it happen is.
@@TheWoollyFrog Ya, youre kind of right, the line or even inbreeding makes it worse. Birds is not so sensitivet to inbreeding as mammals but as the wanted traits, the unwanted also could happen. Professional breeder, or let me say, breeders who act professional, take such birds (the parent) out of breeding with no delay.

Im gonna cry now 😭
I had an albino budgie that came from one green series and one blue series budgie. That pairing also produced a yellowface type 2 budgie. They also never got that bright white ring around their eyes. I had them for 5 years and they had brown eyes the entire time. I tried to find budgies like that online and was pulling blanks. Years before that pair I had a blind budgie, called Blinky, that could fly about like a normal bird
nobody gonna talk about the rainbow budgies omg they're so cute

Honestly, all these mutations are my favorite, though I do feel bad for the dust feathers, the fact their likely to die in a single year is so unsettling. I hope that mutation will find itself developing better over years.
I like when budgies and birds in general have a variety.
The Half Sider budgie is probably by far the most unique and amazing thing I’ve ever seen. It’s so easy to get a camera angle of just one side, and then expose the other in a separate shot.
I have a rainbow budgie! The violet part was just a bit more blueish, but still it’s a rainbow budgie!
You wish that they live longer - to prolong their suffering?
That mutation shouldn’t occur at all, much less ‘develop’
@@ghoultooth true. After all, if dust feathered budgies aren’t favored for natural selection, then maybe they would normally go extinct if things meant survival and no conscious organism would have to endure those conditions anymore.
@@peka__ I don’t want them to suffer, I want them to have a better form I guess and live longer with it. Also, how do you they suffer if they have no experience of what it’s like outside their body conditions? To them, this is normal. But I understand where your heading.
I have a rainbow budgie called Kiwi. He is cute and mostly talks with his friends Cloudy and Blueberry, which Cloudy is white with light blue spots and Blueberry is teal with a yellow head and zebra feathers
Ahh so cute
Of all the different color mutations my VERY FAVORITE are the pure yellow lutinos with pink eyes.
I always thought that the half sider budgie is fake.. this is amazing that such a unique budgie can be exist this is so freaking rare😧😧😧😧
Me too! This mutation is incredible
I’m gonna breed one of those

@@sipkyzaiii2300 you cant its a birth defect so even if the parents have it the babies will not
The neon violet budgie is fake tho
I just fell in love with the half sided ones...
Same I need to figure out where to buy one😂
@@riothebudgie790 good luck, the half sider mutations seem to me like chimeras, as in they absorbed a twin in the egg and therefore have two different dnas.
@@kariissmol9172 I know they are the same thing just under a different name I was making a joke. but seriously how cool would that be to own one😂
Me too
I know a bilibilier(Chinese version of youtuber) who has a half green half blue budgie, she said it only cost her 100 CNY(roughly 16 dollars or 13 euros) from a local market. Incredible.
The black face budgie's story is pretty sad. They are pretty inbred. The person that discovered them was selfish and didnt want others to own this budgie, and he wasnt even a profesional, he was just a backyard breeder. But one day a desease struck and killed all of the budgies. Now breeders are trying to breed the ones that remain and make them healty again. If you have a black face, alert a *responsable* breeder, your budgie can help save them, if it isnt related to the others.
Great video, but i wished you sed the story of the blackface and how the long feathered budgie (forgot its name) is an unwanted trait and how the chimera budgie are conjoined twins.
omg thanks i didn't know about how rare my baby is after reading this i will give my budgie to a proffesionel breeder
@@lablabikun9626 please be careful They don’t try to scam you.
@@Kingshushthe1st how..i.i allready gave him sky..did i do something wrong?
@@lablabikun9626 no of course not o was just saying that you should be careful with it as people may just be trying to exploit you So that they can gain money If you give it to a trusted breeder Or someone who has a lot of experience with them then There’s no problem but regardless the budgie is going to be treat very well so don’t worry.

Me and my sister had each a budgie when we were little but the cat wanted to hunt them all the time, so my parents gave them to our neighbor back then, who had a big room FULL of budgies. I was remembering that today. They were SO many, flying around and free, so our budgies must have been happier there :) My bird was yellow and green and my sister's was blue and white.
The budgies were flying outside?? They can’t survive on their own

She also has purple cheek feathers!
Cute!

They are all adorable, but wow, something really special about the black budgie.
I would love one of those!
Budgies (paracutes) are so sweet, precious and charming!! I've been a bird mom for almost 30 years and couldn't imagine life without them!
do you mean parakeets or parachutes
I jokingly call them paracutes - because they are just so uncontrollably cute!!! 😄

Poor feather duster budgie I didnt know such a mutation existed
I once saw helicopter budgies at a pet store and yesterday I saw a light purple coloured budgie I didnt know they were rare😂
I always see a greyish purple budgie when I go to a pet store
@@Strangeness_coven greyish purple birds are mauves most of the time, mauves aren’t rare and have nothing to do with violets btw.
Ooooh
@@Lamrabetnouha I always thought mauves are called grey budgies 😂😂
@@ksgandhi9688 they’re pretty different actually:
Mauves are the darkest shade of blue in budgies and grey is a mutation that modifies a bird’s original color (which means green birds can be grey too!).
Mauves usually have a grey-violet color, their cheek patches are dark purple and their tails are really dark blue.
Greys don’t have any violet in them (unless they’re violet grey) their cheek patches are light blue and their tails are pitch black.

The rainbow budgie is so pretty!! 🌈
One of my bird obsessed friends has 6 Budgies (kept in a room that was converted into an aviary for them)
All girls and one is a Violet one and one is a Rainbow which blew my mind when I saw them.
Mystic and Sorbet were their names and they are a bonded pair. He used to have a male Black budgie but he died of old age two years ago.
Hi. Just wanted to comment that I'm surprised about your inclusion of purple budgies and cinnamon wings... not that I know anything about modern breeding. I am an Aussie who grew up surrounded by budgies as my father used to breed and show them. He bred both purples and lots and lots of cinnamon wings. This was literally 50 years ago. I would have thought by now that both these varieties would by really common in the pet and show industry. Thank you for your videos. Watching them is like stepping back into my childhood. :)
Ooo! I've had a rainbow budgie, but sadly it flew away because there was a gap between one of the cages "doors" and a kind of pool when he were outside in his cage :( I really miss him, it was my first ever budgie that was trained by me :((
I had 3 of the Rae species of bugle but they all past, they lived in great life❤

I remember when my mom bought me a black/grayish parakeet for me when I was 15. I didn’t realize that they were rare until it passed away and I tried looking for pictures of them online then on google it stated that they go for around 200-500 dollars in America. I then asked my mom how much the parakeets were at pet land and she told me that they sold the parakeet to her for 12 dollars.

Aama bro
I have something almost like a half sider budgie but she is split horizontally rather than vertically... her head upper back and top of her wings are yellow and most of her breast is green. Down by her feet the green switches to blue gradually and she has bright blue tail feathers. The wings and back gradually go from yellow to white. Not sure how common this mutation is but it's not something I had seen before.
I went to a local bird shop and saw a black face budgies and a violet budgie and didn’t even know they were rare.
I really love the purple budgies, and though I wished I had one, I reminded myself that I can't get one just for his looks and I already have Bruno, who I wouldn't replace for any other budgies. Also, nowadays I barely even have conditions to give him something like a bigger cage (it isn't that small though, but I still feel bad) and new, delicious foods, but I give him a lot of love and I hope that it is enough for him to love me, especially after he lost his waifu, Bell.
