Let’s clear this for once and for all: budgies do NOT have the red gene (which is necessary in order for a bird to look pink) therefore: red and pink budgie DO NOT exist.

yup, even i saw one once, but then somebody bought it before me :(, but i got one thats very similar, but it has violet only in between the legs, all other parts look green as it has a yellowface mutation
Please do some research before you comment something bold. An albino budgie is a budgie that is born with way, way less melanin. Melanin is what makes a budgies color, like a human. If you are an albino human, you tend to have paler skin, white hair, and white/silver eyes. For the budgie, it had white feathers and red eyes. Same with the Lutino, but it still has more melanin. There are people who dye their budgies sadly, but this is not how Albino and Lutino budgies were created. It is because of the Ino gene and cells. Do fact search

5:01 about the violet mutation, yes it is possible to have a violet mutation if there is a lack of other color genetics. i say so, because i once owned a recessive pied purple budgie. however, this genetic mutation does affect the budgies health, so my purple budgie died soon after. so debunking budgie worlds debunk, i this part, you are wrong. the other ones im not quite sure of however.

Violet'purple Budgies come in 3 tones same as blue Budgies, Sky or light blue, Cobalt, Dark Blue, the same for Violet/purple pigment birds, they come in a light, medium & dark phase as do green Budgies, Light Green Medium or just Green & Olive. There is a forth shade of green but it happens when you breed a Grey to a Green & get Grey Greens.

One of my birds is like your blue one I think! Mine is a sky blue dilute, so her chest is super light blue, her cheek patches are light purple, and her wings are a light blue-grey color.
5:05 That’s real. The reason why it’s real is because the father/ mother could have a dark shade of blue and the father/ mother could be purple. So that is called real. Search a video of very dark purple budgies that are moving if you don’t believe me.
The budgie with the pink nose is fake, but I said that they can’t have wire heads. That’s called an English budgie, and most have white heads. I actually own one.
You can get pink budgies but but it’s bit genetic for example if you have an albino beetroot can be used to dye their feathers and it’s bird safe because it’s all natural
Sorry to disappoint many of you, but as babies, almost all budgies, save a few special mutations, have black bars on the whole of their head and face. This can look a bit like the blackface mutation, but the budgie loses it (the face becomes a clear yellow or white) when he (or she) is around four months old and starts molting. The Blackface variety has strong dark barring covering its entire head and face, even as an adult. Another important feature of the Blackface variety is that it has barring down its chest and abdomen, which is found in no other mutation. Though some budgies may develop black spots or markings on the face, this is not a mutation, but a condition known as Melanism, where the bird produces too much Melanin. This condition may arise as a result of environmental or dietary factors and may or may not become normal with time. Melanism is not a mutation, more like a disease (though I wouldn't exactly call it a disease). BTW a bird with Melanism is known as a Melanistic bird.

i actually have a violet budgie (not like those photoshopped images though)
At 5:00, those are actual parakeets. Kevin is an Australian breeder, and you can contact him at kevinsbirds7@gmail.com, that image just has a filter because he posted it on his Instagram :)
1:07 i constantly have that left budgie mutation
Wdym do your budgies breed and you get this colour??
Are budgies technically parakeets???
Here is a detailed explanation on this matter => ua-cam.com/video/DX3llD1v9P8/v-deo.html
I had a pastel lime budgie that had grey markings but no black markings.
(3.40) It isn't purple although it looks dark blue, but this dark cere indicates that this male is in breeding mood as far as I know.
i had a fully budgie in the past no green parts. How rare is it? I know there is one breed like that but, he had the black parts in like blue budgies but he was fully yellow no white. only black and yellow.
I have a violet budgie and a light blue budgie
Used to own purple and white budgies, some babies had brown tips on the ends of the feathers instead of black
I have the yellow face mutation and also, my blue bird has a white face and very light blue for the rest of the body
One of my birds is like your blue one I think! Mine is a sky blue dilute, so her chest is super light blue, her cheek patches are light purple, and her wings are a light blue-grey color.
@@king-icarus that’s cool!!
3:38 lol they even colored the eye black around it 😭😂🤦♀️
5:50 fake because no budgie has a pink beak and no green budgie has a white face but the feathers are real.
5:05
That’s real. The reason why it’s real is because the father/ mother could have a dark shade of blue and the father/ mother could be purple. So that is called real. Search a video of very dark purple budgies that are moving if you don’t believe me.
"dark purple Ceres don't exist"
Me: *Stares at my birb with a dark purple Cere* 👀
purple ceres do exist, but not the photoshopped purple you see in these photos
The budgie with the pink nose is fake, but I said that they can’t have wire heads. That’s called an English budgie, and most have white heads. I actually own one.
dude if purple budgie doesnt exist why do i have one? i have a budgie that has a purple belly and pink wings
3:37 *guy talking about budgie ceres*
My budgie that could be female:*has a light blue and lavender cere*
Me: ;-; *sigh*

You can get pink budgies but but it’s bit genetic for example if you have an albino beetroot can be used to dye their feathers and it’s bird safe because it’s all natural
7:12 there is second reason too see the colour of wall in both pictures it is same as budgie colour
Omg..I have Black Face Budgie... I had no idea ic it RaRe!!
My babe budgie is white but on sunlight she can sparkle blue on some perspective and on sometime sightly pinkish on some perspective she is adorable
