  • This video is all about Nano Aquascaping and why it's such a good place to start in the hobby.
Today I talk about the two 30cm Nano Aquascapes we have in our showroom. We have one high energy (with CO2) and one low energy (non CO2). Set up side by side to demonstrate that Aquascaping is both possible with or without CO2, and can be affordable even on a low budget.
We explain the benefits of CO2 and high lighting, and why a lower energy non CO2 aquascape can also be a great place to start with Aquascaping using simple easy to grow plants and lower lighting.
We also have 2 other Nano Aquascapes in our showroom, the 35L scapers tank and our 45cm Optiwhite Aquarium by AG. We have a range of tank sizes for Nano Aquascaping,a s well as different types of lighting and filtration to suit. So there's really something for everyone :)
One thing I forgot to mention in the video is the filtration on the 30cm cubes. We are using the Eheim skim 350 which has adequate flow for a 30cm tank and a small sponge inside.
Any questions please leave them in the comments below. I'm happy to answer all your questions! Or pop over for a visit :)
    Thanks for watching.
    Cheers
    Dave

Thanks for the video, they are always so well put together and edited! You deserve a lot more subscribers! I love my nano aquarium which just has moss, sag, and floating plants and about 30 cherries, with a simple hardscape of oversize flat pebbles and wood. This is the only tank ever that I've had to try and create more algae than I get naturally!! It's so relaxing and simple to maintain (one bucket, 15 mins!). Happy Xmas Dave, hope for more excellent content in the NY.

Excellent information! I like that you treated the low tech option well since that's where most people may start if they are afraid of the hobby. Well done!

Does this video show the normal water surface movement you run at or is it lessened for filming in anyway?

Nice tanks. A skimmer is enough for filtration??

Yes Eheim Skim 350 enough for 30L tank with shrimp and plants. Give the sponge a clean each week👍

Prefer shrimp and snails in these Nano tank - but you could add small nano fish if you wanted too :)
