- Filipe is back at Aquarium Gardens for another workshop! After the huge success of last years workshop when Filipe Oliveira aquascaped a 90cm Aquascaper 900 (still running in our showroom and one of the favorites!) he is back again but this time its BIGGER!
Watch Filipe aquascape our Aquascaper 1500 (biggest tank in our showroom) in a v-shape layout. I have edited down the 5 hour workshop to just under 30 mins - sorry if the video is too long! Particularly interesting is Filipes fertilization routine (0:14:04) which we will be adopting on this tank - different to our usual routine, but we want the stems to grow slow and colorful as possible!

Love it Dave! What a great day I had with you guys. It's always a pleasure to visit your store and see how much you put in your gallery. This one will become beautiful and I'm pretty sure people will be impressed in how it will turn out.

We love having you here! There is lots of useful info during the workshop you provided - most interesting was your fertilization routine which we will be adopting on this scape. We've already had customers at the workshop who said they started using your fert routine and they have much better colour and slower stem growth! win win!

After seeying the video I also want to make a scape at home with riverwood. So I am wondering how did you cure the riverwood from the tank? Doesn't it leach tannines massively? Cause they are obvious to big to boil :D Are you able to keep the water clear? What is the secret to that clear water? Is it those 2 biomaster filters filled up with seachem matrix and purigen and some carbon filters and weekly water changes only or is there more?
Every time I slope soil it just levels out as soon as water hits it

that is not natural at all, u wouldnt see something so effing perfect like that in real nature lol , its just confusing, u guys marketed it "natural aquascape" yet its not natural
