How to keep an aquascape low maintenance? It all comes down to four things.

It’s almost unlistenable for me. I want the information but it’s like nails on a chalkboard.
sounds a bit like babish to me.
Apparently, before you post a UA-cam video you're supposed to poll everyone as to how they prefer you speak into the microphone, otherwise risk offending many of them. The Internet sure attracts a lot of people who feel the constant need to take a dump on someone else's doorstep. Very nicely produced video.

the glass has to be clear too

Love the scape with the petrified wood and of course enhanced by the Espe's! I have the same Dennerle (I'm in Canada) system and agree wholeheartedly with your assessment and recommendation...an excellent tank to scape with that footprint and the light is excellent. I replace the internal filter for a HOB but other than that without CO2, no problems. Thanks again for sharing and keep up the great vids.

Thanks for this. I’ve been obsessively researching before I set up my first proper scape (I’ve kept fish for 30 years but not been a plant enthusiast until recently), and I couldn’t understand why folk use CO2 indefinitely instead of just at the start. Now you’ve shown me that it’s possible, and for me at least, beneficial, to just start it off with CO2 and then wean it. Now I can experiment =)👍

Gorgeous aquascape. I love how you used the petrified wood vertically to resemble cliffs. I have lots of pet. wood, but it looks awkward in my tank, never thought to use it this way. I'll definitely be trying it on my next setup. Thank you

I appreciated seeing the post-competition tank and how you have kept it thriving. I always wonder how (or if) they hold up in the long run. Most any tank can look fantastic for a few days, but most of us need to create something that will stand the test of time. You know what they say..."Pretty is as pretty does." And this is scape truly "does"!! Also, please ignore the nay-sayers and change nothing regarding your tone and style of commentary. It's so refreshing, allowing the brain to clearly process the information.
Those fish are my new favorite, their color is awesome!
