@@edstaart8548 Oh the housing? Yes, the Rose Gold color is probably for girls. But there is the silver version for folks like us. Just wanted to show the rose version. So rare occasion that a manufacturer does a unit for girls in the male-dominated hobby. Kudos for that! Thanks for your support mate. The new video is coming next week. Already recorded yesterday. Will be nice again! 😋
Cheers my friend. Thanks for your words. You basically can replace almost anything, to shave on cost. The light we used here is not too expensive. Cheaper ones will not have the same output. You also can use shared plants by a community or cuttings to build up similar small aquariums if you're low on budget. 👍
Could you please explain how you had dry substrate and sand still in the bag? Did you wash it, dry it, and then put it back in the package? I’ve been researching and racking my brain to figure out the best way to prep substrate for an aquarium to no avail. Any tips would be super appreciated!
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 🐟 Nano saltwater aquarium maintenance is less time-consuming than larger tanks, but regular tasks are still necessary. 00:42 🐠 Feed the fish once a day with a small amount of defrosted frozen food to avoid overfeeding. 01:09 🧽 Regularly scrape algae off the glass and replace the filter sponge to control nitrates in the tank. 02:20 🛍️ On weekends, visit the local fish shop to look for corals and perform tank maintenance. 02:46 📈 Test salinity, alkalinity, nitrate, and phosphate weekly to maintain water parameters. 03:26 🧪 Ideal parameters: Salinity 35 ppt, Alkalinity 7-9 dKH, Nitrate 5-20 ppm, Phosphate 0.1 ppm. 03:53 📉 If water parameters are off, adjust them using phosphate media or dosing calcium supplement. 06:10 🚰 Perform a 20% water change weekly by siphoning out 8 liters and replacing with fresh saltwater. 07:20 ⏱️ Weekly maintenance on the nano tank typically takes 30-40 minutes, making it relatively low maintenance. Made with HARPA AI
Is putting the rocks close to the glass a good idea? I have been doing marine tanks for over 35 years and by putting rocks or anything on the glass and not leaving enough room to clean the glass you will definitely get algae build up on the glass. Personally would it not be best to leave a little more distance then the width of the glass scrubber to the the glass, to make cleaning a bit easier? Or with planted tanks do people not care much about algae growing on the glass since the cleanup crew (if you have one) will take care of it hopefully? I know this video is 4 years old, but I am just getting into planted tanks and well, I have questions, so best to ask them when I watch the videos no matter how old they are.
I have one really big dragon stone which I am debating on breaking a piece off but I dont know how or if I try I dont know what will happen or if I will like it could you maybe make a video on it or incorporate it in a video please?
Thank you, yup we've not finished the tank with the filling. But for this size, we would use a 500lph filter from any manufacturer or the ADA Super Jet ES-300. Filled with bio media and purigen or carbon for extra clarity.
The new video is out guys! Let's build a nano aquascape together! Do you like the result? Let us know!

Why is the light pink? I hope they make other colors. Well done Balasz , the comment " ugliest by a pro" is gonna follow you the rest of your career I m afraid. You can thank Viktor for highlighting this comment, best friends forever. Lol.
Cheers Ed 😀👍 The supervisor is here! 😀
Thanks for your comment. He did a great job in the end. But we expected that right?
This LED highlight the RED in the tank a little more. Which is good. But greens also looks great with it. Really lovely color spectrum.
Green Aqua Hi Viktor , I meant the outside color of the light, looks pink to me, maybe for little girls.
Balazs is a boss wearing these Jurijs gloves without laughing. I imagine he made a bet with Jurijs : I dare wearing them in a video.
Look forward to your next video, enjoy them very much and learn a Lott the way you show it, thanks for sharing/making these vids .
Nice video amd thanks a lot now I got tons of ideas on how to make a nano aquascape 👍
Cheers, thanks for watching, we've got some other cool nano videos on the channel, you can check them out too if you wish.
How could that be the worse?? It's beautiful, excellent job.
Thanks! Cheers.
Great video. Love the color of the light stick.
Yup ONF Flat Nano is a lovely unit! 👍Thanks for your support! Glad you like it!
Great video!
Thanks!
nice video, but I LOVE the T-Shirt.......have a nice day...
Nice tank! Thank for share!
You are welcome! Thanks for watching!
I love your videos and work you do..
Thank you 🙏
Great tutorial from a friendly guy.....
Thank you 😃
Muhteşem bir yapıt elinize sağlık çok güzel 🇹🇷😍👏🇹🇷
Glad you like this, sorry I did not fill it up. Welcome to the channel!
Filling it up after would be... cool.
Yup we focused on the build here, but the videos after that usually goes til the tank is filled.
Great video, thanks for sharing. Still learning how to make a cheap aquascape but still have a nice view 😊.
Cheers my friend. Thanks for your words. You basically can replace almost anything, to shave on cost. The light we used here is not too expensive. Cheaper ones will not have the same output. You also can use shared plants by a community or cuttings to build up similar small aquariums if you're low on budget. 👍
Well done Balazs👍👍👍
Thank you Sharon 😊
Could you please explain how you had dry substrate and sand still in the bag? Did you wash it, dry it, and then put it back in the package? I’ve been researching and racking my brain to figure out the best way to prep substrate for an aquarium to no avail. Any tips would be super appreciated!
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:00 🐟 Nano saltwater aquarium maintenance is less time-consuming than larger tanks, but regular tasks are still necessary.

Say Hello from Indonesia🇮🇩
Hello, thanks for the comment!
I have one really big dragon stone which I am debating on breaking a piece off but I dont know how or if I try I dont know what will happen or if I will like it could you maybe make a video on it or incorporate it in a video please?
Noted! But we have examples of that in a couple of videos!
cheers for telling me I need scissors to cut something!
Although I live your guides and love the Aquascape!
Nice little tank, very interesting to watch. One question.... What are you using for filtration? You showed the inlet and outlet but not the filter.
Thank you, yup we've not finished the tank with the filling. But for this size, we would use a 500lph filter from any manufacturer or the ADA Super Jet ES-300. Filled with bio media and purigen or carbon for extra clarity.
thank you so much, i wanted to start my passion since i am already earning thank you so much sir
I'm sure you'll be very happy with your aquarium, good luck with that, and glad we inspire. Cheers.
