Chinese Chi Kung - 18 movements
Вставка
- Опубліковано 8 лют 2014
- The Taichi 18 posture video is done by Shan-Tung Hsu's Hong Kong "sister".
It was a very popular qigong exercise especially in South East Asia.
The creator is Mr. Lin, the friend of Dr Hsu.

After watching so many incorrect versions on youtube, I am glad to see this perfect example of the 18 forms. Perfect !
The best of the best ever
I've been practicing this since 2015
And I swear since then my health improved, my flexibility and my physical performance as well,
Even though I stopped once because of doing other exercises but whenever I want to do qi gong exercises I always come to this video
Even though she is speaking Chinese but I understand her just with my feelings 🙂
This is so precious and so easy and very effective at the same time
I'm so grateful for to all the people who helped in a way or another to make this master piece

Nice video. Thank you very much for share it with all over the world. It is really therapeutic.
Thank you very much for doing this. It has really helped me go back to the time when I did the same set in Hong Kong in the early 1990's, trained by a Hong Kong Master. Even though I don't understand most of what you are saying, I think I do!
My QiGong teacher advised me to watch this video as it is precise and without mistakes. Thank you 🙏
Well done! Will watch and try to follow & remember 🕺

I've been using this video for over a year and it's incredible but the ads popping up continually over 5 times throughout the video makes it extremely difficult to follow. If there was a way to get a personal copy without ads, that would be incredible.
Ok, we stopped the monetization. No ads

Very nice thank you. I almost know what you are saying without knowing what you say :-) K x
Thanksforgiving
The ads really make it difficult to maintain focus while following along. If you could disable them or make a request to put them all at the beginning that would be great. 5 ads are a little ridiculous

Nice video but we want translation in English mam...plsss
gefällt mir sehr, ich würde die Übungen gerne auch von der Seite betrachten
Muchas gracias por este hermoso Chi kung me siento mejor aunque no comprendo lo he apredido un poco desde Belgique.
I just followed her on a few movements and can feel a strong warmth as if caressing an invisible energy ball that expands and contracts between my palms.
Cheers for this, I've been looking for "learning powerful methods to build your Chi energy" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Fellmeroni Rudimentary Chi - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my buddy got amazing results with it.

gracias, gracias, gracias...! mil gracias , don't think i need translation ... lo entiendo bien , me va bien...
thank you very much....
if you practice chi kung, can you attain higher consciousness? people please reply, I want to know. Thank you!
What is "higher consciousness"? It is the very first question we should answer.
@@bluemountainfengshui is it to completely understand ourselves? Or is it subjective??
yes
Тарас Литвин do you think it’s more important we concentrate on ourselves, or concentrate on the world around us??
Is this Qigong?
Yes
Gracias !!!!❤
People still use to call it 'tai chi' because of the type of movements and because tai chi is more known around the world . Well Chinese traditions always used this format of exercising, so the similarity only means Chinese style
Hi, what do you mean by ‘nasty?’ I’m only asking as I am new to this & learning Yang tai chi.
he meant that Yang 24 form comes from martial arts ( fighting) and might be not good for people
Rong rong cang shan Tien ih dui Chi Kong Shie Shie hen shang ghji hua kuang Goa Ming Cheng zuo Dian ghji Jiang He ci nenng Liao ci Dui ta Jiao Hui Shie Hai Shie Shie hen
This a great version of "Taijiqigong - Shibashi." Mr. Lin is better known as Lin Housheng - 林厚省, or sometimes "Professor Lin."
See www.linhousheng.com/ and my article at www.qi-journal.com/Qigong.asp?Name=Taiji%20Qigong%20-%20Shibashi%20and%20Lin%20Housheng&-token.D=Article And most important: do it.

Tai Chi Shibashi
Alexandre Gorchkov It`s kind different from tai chi. See the feet and leg positions. Tai chi harms the knees a lot. Qi kong doesn't. Tai chi is disguised fighting. Qi kong is healing energy.
heloisa688 tai chi CAN harm the knees if it is not taught correctly. Important difference. At no point has tai chi been 'disguised' fighting. The martial aspect has always been openly acknowledged. In the west we have just mostly emphasized its use for health and exercise- to the extent that many people have become unaware that it is a martial art.
Yes this is different from tai chi. The formal name for this is 'taiji qigong shibashi 18 movements'. It has a connection to tai chi in that some of the movements from have been taken from tai chi and simplified and stripped down to the essentials. This means they no longer really have any martial application but are very easy to learn and bring good health benefits. There's also a lot more internal mind/intention stuff to the taiji qigong 18 form once you've learnt the basic moves.
For many people who are only interested in the health aspect this form is going to more suitable than learning tai chi which is really quite an involved process.
heloisa688 Tai Chi chuan, Yang style has healed my knees. I agree with Wildcrafter, if taught (and practiced) correctly it is very much a healing exercise which will not damage the body.
