  • 15min yoga practice to strengthen the core. This practice is suitable for all curves and spinal fusion.
⭐ If you have any injuries or other back conditions that make you unsure about practicing yoga then check with your health practitioner first.
⭐ If you are unsure of your curve pattern then make sure to get a proper diagnosis from your doctor. You can still do all of my practice videos without knowing your curve pattern - just make sure to practise symmetrically until you know more.
⭐ Yoga for Scoliosis is an individual practice so if you have any concerns or are not quite sure if these poses are right for you find a qualified Yoga for Scoliosis teacher or feel free to get in touch for a 1:1 consultation. Email Christine at info@yogaberry.net

Thank you for these videos. I’m 61 years old and have been fused for over 40 years. Your videos have helped me get motivated to keep moving and stretching.

I absolutely love this video! It's the first time (fused for 18 years) when I can practice my core and feel completely safe and have no back pain during the practice or afterwards. Thank you so much!

I enjoyed this a lot. I’ll definitely be doing this more regularly, if not daily. I really need to strengthen my core and this is a really good starter.

I love doing your scoliosis but I have a request. I have carpel tunnel issues and can’t do the exercises/stretches while on hands and knees. Could you incorporate an alternative position as well? I appreciate your help.

I have a question please... why is the normal plank (the one where the whole body is in a straight line) wasn't in this video? is it because its not suitable for scoliosis ?

there is a forearm plank towards the end! You can absolutely do this on the palms of the hands too. Definitely suitable for scoliosis.

Are your exercises with EDS in concideration or would they have to be modified, son being male we think is less lax connective tissue in most not all joints now although he isn't think strong in muscles. "Normal" stretching yoga isn't recommended in EDS more isometric style & hydrotherapy (weightless), hope you can help, thanks

Only the 2 of 5 (7 if inc my parents) of us have known to have scoliosis, mine only mild functional I wasn't told a deg, mum's showing later in life. I've not yet watched any of your vids, but they look intriging so hope can help.

I don't know much about EDS to be honest but it sounds like hypermobility is an issue? Best to check with your doctor first if there is anything you shouldn't do. My poses are usually very gentle - there is nothing extreme and we focus on body awareness a lot.
