- I made this project from a Spectrum Glass pattern. Here is the link to their free feather pattern.
Feathers Pattern by Spectrum Glass / 571464640210219929
I was planning on making an intarsia but the pieces don’t really touch a whole lot so it is just pieces and not really an intarsia. I added an awesome and curious verse, it is Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with his feathers. I love to think about being covered by God’s feathers. I really hope we get feathers too one day! This project was really quick and it turned out way better than I expected.

That is a very nice plaque. It will look great on any wall in any room you hang it in.
I can't wait to finish rebuilding my scroll saw. Your work has inspired me to try this type of wood work
+christopher dustin Yay! I'm glad you are going to start doing stuff like this!!! It is very fun and relaxing!
Beautiful feathers and plaque, Cy! The verse chosen is so appropriate, too!! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks fryefoto!!!
One of my favorites that you've done Cy - Thanks
Thanks Lynn :)
That turned out much better than I first thought!! Great wood choices and the verse is perfect!

Wow Cy I love how well you found the grain. Beautiful!!!
Thank you :) :) :)
Fantastic Cy. I am always amazed at what you start with and then how great it turns out. Beautiful !
Thank you Steve :) :) :)
That is one nice thing about being color blind! I don't struggle with colors.
Yup! That is how it works. And when I tick her off, she dresses me funny.
+Don Ogle Well, you better not tick her off then!!!! Hee heeeeee!!!!!
Beautiful - you certainly flew through that one!
+Bristolian Bob Thank you!
Beautiful piece! Good color choices.

+Tom Weber Thanks Tom!
Wow, beautiful!
Thank you :)
That is a very nice project as always!!!!!!!!! FYI that piece of wood you picked up and said this is the inner part and this is outer part, every tree has sap wood and heart wood. The sap wood is always a lighter colored wood then the heart wood as far as I know.
+Curt Parker Thanks Curt! I had heard of sap wood before but wasn't exactly sure if I had it right or not!
As always , very nice.
Thank you Donnie :)
Presioso trabajo, eres única sigue sacando esos trabajos tan maravillosos.👍

Beautiful project! :)
I love the sand bag clamping idea :)
+Night Woodworker Thanks! The sand bags are awesome, they spring leaks sometimes!
Very creative. I love it.

Lindo demais!!!!!

hermoso trabajo , como siempre mucha dedicacion ,saludos
Gracias Claudio :)
awsome - for me it is also a kind of intarsia!
Yes, I suppose so, thanks Joerg!!!
Great job, Cy!
+George V Thanks !!!
Those feathers look amazing.
I've only got one lot of Teak and found that it tends to be oily (yes it's dry been sat in a shed for over 20+ years as an old door frame). When you sand it, it clogs up the sand paper really quick.
Well done!
Thanks Paul!!! I'm thinking this was wenge, it wasn't real oily like Teak. Thanks for watching :)!!!!
Tebrikler 👍👍👍
Teşekkür ederim!!!
Beautiful piece, I really like it as well
+Tommy Akridge Designs Thanks Tommy! Hey I took a woodturning class, Hub and I took it together, it was awesome and I'm ready to try out my new lathe! Wished I could have made it to your place before we moved.
Hi Cy, this is REALLY beautiful! I like it a lot!
+Jolien Brebels Thanks Jolien!!! :D
I like the verse on the front it really gives it another purpose rather than just having feathers on your wall. Like the verse draws you in then you look at the feathers and go wow that's really cool and beautiful wood. Or something like that lol.
+Jaime Drew Thanks Jaime! :D!!!!
Doing a great job Cy, that came out awesome......missed the pups though.
+gA Thank you, they were around, I should have had them say hello or woof!
I have a hard time with the names of the different types of wood I just go with what looks good
Sometimes you don't know what you have too!!!
Beautiful! I have no idea what the red wood is, but I want me some of that. It is GAWJUSS!
Only discovered your channel recently, but it is already a firm favourite and I love your infectious personality. Please marry me! lol
Thanks for sharing Cy.
+Pete Beardsley Thanks for watching Pete! Ya, bummer I don't know what that wood is called. And heee heee, sorry, already married :) You're very welcome!!!!
tuyêt vời
Này đó! Cảm ơn bạn!
Cy, as a beginner it’s zero skill, I’m so confused as to scroll saw blades. Can you tell me what kind of blades I should stock up on. I’d like to get into intarsia. Some say by Olson, some say Buy Flying Dutchmen. I don’t know what sizes I should get
+Steven Castelletti Oh man Steven, this is a simple question with a complex answer. Can you email me and I can give you the info I have. undeniablycy@gmail.com Thanks!
It's beautiful! What do you do with all your projects?
+MooseTrails Woodworking I keep some, give some away, and sell some!!!
real nice piece if ever you find the name of that wood please put us all out of our misery.
Thank you :) So sorry I don't know, my neighbor, who gave it to me, didn't know either :(
Hello Cy. How did you do the stem
@Helen Stewart I made the stem the same way I cut the feather parts :) Please let me know if you need more info.
It doesn't look cool, it looks great and cool
Thanks John :)
