Repair of the Cardinal Intarsia

- After I ran the drill bit through my entire project I wanted to fix it! And I do that in this video.
I had made an intarsia cardinal alongside my friend Keith while I was showing him how I make an intarsia. And when drilling some pilot holes for the hanger I ran the drill bit through to the front of the project. It went between two pieces, so I wanted to replace those two pieces. I am happy to say it was a success and I was able to replace those pieces!

Great fix on your beautiful Cardinal Cy! Female Cardinals usually have a lighter colored belly so the wood you used on the repair looks more natural. I liked both though!

Great video! I see you have your old masters gel in a small plastic container. Do you do that just to work with a small amount, or do you just transfer it in there when your original can gets pretty empty?
I put some in a little container so I have a small amount to work with. :)
All you had to do was fill the hole with glue, wipe off the access glue and then sand it good. IT will fill the hole.
I haven't been able to fill a hole and make it look like it wasn't a filled hole. Plus it was in between two pieces which complicated the matter!
