The UTK Far Infrared Heating Pad is like taking the most healing part of the sun and wearing it like a blanket. It’s safe, effective, noninvasive, and so simple.
Infrared therapy has been shown to reduce pain and inflammation, ease anxiety, improve sleep, restore gut health, and improve circulation and lymphatic flow. The frequencies of infrared go into the body, mobilizing “stuck” tissue (trapped waste, scar tissue, stiff, dehydrated fascia) and revitalizing cell health.

They are really great. I have several UTK heating pads around the house. Helped tremendously with a herniated disk as well as various areas of joint pain, neck and shoulder tension. Nice to lay on or drape over you. The longer pads are worth it, as they are easier to wrap around limbs, etc. I’ve put them inside old tee shirts with the cord running out the sleeve so the shirts can be washed periodically. Warning: your cat will take over this pad and you will have to fight them for it.

That's great! I'm so glad they've helped alleviate your pain and tension. Smart idea to put them inside tee shirts. (Sounds like your cat is smart too 😊)

The reviews say this unit works great but multiple reviews from around 2022 say the fake leather flakes away and is not durable. The larger model costs about $230 and that's way too much for something that only lasts a few years before falling apart. I just ordered the iReliev far infrared pad. It's only 16x24 but that might works for some situations. I'm wearing their TENS+EMS unit now and that works very well.

Thank you, Rachel! I love your videos. My major issue with the heating pad would be where to stash it in my tiny abode. It does look relaxing, and soothing on a cold winter day like today.

Tell me about it! My husband, daughter, and I share a 1-bedroom in Manhattan. But I find this doesn't take up too much room when rolled up.
And thank you for the kind words and support ❤️

Looking fabulous as always Rachel. If this device lessens abdominal pain, I am very interested.

Can people with titanium rods in their lower spine use infrared?

Metal generally reflects infrared and is not heated, but you should consult your physician before trying.

So you're saying it cooks you?? Haha jk.
Infrared heaters are common in areas too large to heat economically, infrared radiation is sensed as heat by the body (like sunshine) but doesn't really heat up the air in the room. Not sure how this gadget works, will check it out for sure.
