This made my day Emma. I found out that due to over 5 years of delayed hospital appointments, I have a pre-cancerous condition which I have three months of treatment for, then a surgery to remove bits of me. I needed something to absorb my mind and here you are. Thank you❤

My daughter and myself had a NIGHTMARE neighbour for almost 10 years. She almost destroyed our sanity and our souls and almost caused us to have a nervous breakdown. I believe she was a narcissists of the 1st order and took pleasure in torturing us emotionally and psychologically just for her own sick entertainment. She at one point mocked me for having cancer and said she wished I would "hurry up and die".
My daughter is autistic and she even mocked her calling her a "a big retard" I don't know where we got the strength from, but we did. We went to a lawyer and were advised to seek a non harassment order against her. When it went to court she suddenly announced she would be relocating to a new property in another area. For my daughter and myself it was like winning the lottery. To be free of this horrendous nightmare made us cry with relief. That was almost 6 years ago, and to this day we thank our lucky stars to be FREE of this horror.

God I feel for you. Had similar ten years ago, it escalated to a death within the family involved, and it happened on our doorstep. When you can’t move house it’s the worst situation. I’m so glad she’s gone! Best wishes x

I am so sorry you are your daughter went through that. My friend had an awful neighbour a few years ago. The floors between the flats were so thin, the noise was ridiculous, the sound proofing non existent. She ended up being so scared to make any noise, she would go into her car to use her phone because she didn't want to provoke the guy upstairs, who was an alcoholic that abused his wife. My friend was living on her own and lived in fear. Fortunately, the wife got away from him, and eventually he got kicked out of his tenancy because he never paid his rent. The new neighbour is lovely so she is doing well now. I hope your new neighbours are nice too. Neighbours don't need to be friends, but it's so awful when neighbours become enemies xxx

i had a group of neighbors who took a stand against me because i didnt bow to their perversions had a lgbq couple who had a child of about 10, when i caught that child trying to beat on my 5 year old son i made it clear that there kids weren't welcome on my property if they weren't respectful! even on neighbor stepped outside with a shotgun it reminded me of a clown! the way she acted, not realizing i could be more ruthless then their worst nightmare, but i let it go, and as i understood it the last time i saw one of their daughters/sons they were homeless, something i would never wish on someone,

Difficult case. I don't believe for one second that George is not guily. There is so much evidence against him that makes perfect sense. But why leave Thalium in two places in his old home and state that somone may be responsible because they want the victims to move? However, I do find, purely from my own observations that sometimes people with a high IQ lack some common, sense leading them to do stupid mistakes. I do believe that people are entitled to a fair trial and that George should have been granted this. Yet I doubt very much that this would have made any difference to his guilt and sentence.
Thanks Em and Dusted, another fabulous case!❤

That is so true, iv met a few intellectually bright people who can't even follow the plot in a film, and iv had to explain it to them.
I have autism,so I get that "narrow focus" on certain subjects, yet other things go by the wayside.
Maybe George and his wife were on the spectrum, they certainly have some of the characteristics eg noice and sensory overload, expectations of how others should conduct themselves.
I do think he is guilty though.

My child’s best friend was super intelligent but she didn’t have the common sense that god gave to a jackass. She was a great kid but everyone would tease (good natured not mean) her about how she could be so intelligent about so many things but had absolutely no common sense.

I do understand having sensitivity to sounds. I have a cochlear implant and at times, I need to take a hearing break and it got worse after I developed CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome). It added pain to sounds
and I’ll really NEED a hearing break. But despite that, I don’t go around harassing and threatening people making too much noise and never thought about murd3ring them. George needs to get strong ear plugs and get over himself because the world doesn’t revolve around him and it’s not a justified excuse.
I’ve seen people covering this case and I felt like he was guilty as hell but they never mentioned any of the circumstances that could have caused reasonable doubt with the jury. It did make me wonder because the people who covered it said Coca-Cola was Peggy’s favorite drink and I wonder how George would have known that.

Reminds me of the 'teacup poisoner ' here in Britain in the 1960s' a guy called Graham young,he poisoned his family, after serving 10 uears in Broadmoor he was released for good behavior.
He got a job at a foto printing factory and put thalium in the tea urn,je was in charge of brewing up.😊so went about his evil task of poisoning his workmates.je had a greqt knowledge of poisons like this case.
He blew himself up when bragging to the police when they came to investigate why peple at the factory where droppimg like flies.
He said to one copper"could it be thalium"
    Bang to rights!!!

I used to live in close proximity to my neighbour. Our kitchens faced each other. She had an Alexa, to which she had a habit of shouting commands to play music. This would be fine, its her home...but she like nothing more than to leave her kitchen door open! We are very quiet, and a level of noise is to be expected, but in summer especially, this became unbearable. I went out a lot, and even had a word with her on occasion and all would be ok for a day or two.
Noise can make you think things you would never normally dream of. I found myself plotting ways i could deactivate that Alexa by maybe going into her garden and shouting a certain code at it. They have a self destruct code....but apparently its voice recognition activated. So that plan fell through! I used to think awful things about my neighbour and im so glad i moved!

I've watched a bit about this case before. They were horrendous neighbours, actively going out of their way to cause distress and even after what happened, they believed they had a right to behave like they did, taking no responsibility at all. Having said that, surely an intelligent man could have found a better way to deal with this than murder. He didn't have a right to kill.

This case always makes me SO angry. It doesn't take a genius to send anonymous threatening notes, to be a cowardly poisoner or stand by and watch as the intended damage takes place. Those pieces of 💩. The geniuses are the medical professionals who identified what the victims were afflicted with and the law enforcement who identified the cowardly snakes 🐍 in the grass who did the crime. It's scary to think that "A" hole has been doing this type of thing since he was a kid. He's been a 🐍 his whole life.

@emmakennytv any chance you could do the case of moises May? He was caught when the woman he had abducted and chained to the floor broke a window to alert the neighbours of what was happening.

I still don’t know how he managed to smuggle in the Coca Cola bottles to their fridge, in such a chaotic household, with kids and teenagers and dogs and whatnot, when they would have for sure seen him coming from down the road and chased him off since they didn’t like him.

I watched this on forensic detectives and what i remember is he just slipped it inside the garage because the garage door was often left open and their spare fridge for drinks etc was there in the fridge so someone from the family just assumed someone else in the family bought it and put it in the fridge.

Hi Emma, many years ago we had the most awful neighbours, the three of them had three types of music blaring out top volume , frankly if I had seen this before we moved house, I would have realised I had options

As a person with misophonia I can in fact confirm that the level of rage I feel is real when I hear people breathing or chewing!!! 😅 I mean would I poison someone over it… no. But it is seriously frustrating. 😅🙈

I first came across this case thanks to Mr Ballen and his video about it. (For those who don't know him, Mr Ballen, aka Jonathan B. Allen, is an American UA-camr, and a former Navy SEAL, whose videos look at "the strange, dark and mysterious.")

My son got tested for adhd his score for his intelligence was in the top 5 percent for kids his age and it made me understand alittle better why it is hard for him to create relationships with other kids his age. I hope it gets easier for him.

Anyone sets their dog on my cat- poisoning would be their best outcome 😅 That aside, I really want to hear your take on the Jodi Jones case. Controversial, and would probably be a 3 hour long video haha, but you're class at looking at these things objectively when need be and this really is a case that divides opinion. Or not, as the case may be.

Omg with all the information that wasn't given to the jury & the expert witness being unreliable puts at massive question mark over the conviction. How was he not given another trial?
I'm also not saying he's innocent but he definitely deserves a fair trial.
The poor Carr family to have to go through this loss & then have such a shadow of doubt hanging over the verdict. I would want to know who was responsible.

Can you do thomas christian corlett, theres nothing on the internet about him murdering his girlfriend hortificly on the isle of man around 2002 ish. He signed an anonymity thing to remove any mentions of him from the internet. Which i feel is unfair to the legacy of his victim. Unfortunately i can't remember her name 😢

I've listened to this case and I honestly believe it's the husband that did it and I think he knew of George's history so it was easy to pin on him because of their fractures relationship.. maybe I'm wrong but most killers normally talk and admit their guilt in prison after so many years yet he hasn't
