I’ve watched the viewer counter go up by 50 in less than 5 minutes, but the 👍 button clicks only go up by 7. C’mon people, Em is loyal to us! She is consistent! She posts content for us when she is sick, when she is suffering from nasal surgery, when she is touring for the serial killer next door, when she is on vacation, and EVEN when she GAVE BIRTH to sweet, adorable, Etta-blue! The LEAST we can do for her is click the like button!

It's the same with every video I've watched on UA-cam, whether it's music, sharks, crocs, Emma's channel it's always the same. 250k views and 600 likes. Wtf is wrong with people not hitting the like button? It doesn't cost anything and it's easy to do.

I think part of the context here is important - Brazilian police are not well known for taking women’s stories seriously, or believing them at all. Reporting this to police would likely have resulted in absolutely nothing happening, it’s not a justification but it adds more explanation to their actions.

I’m very divided about this case. As someone who was horrifically violated by someone I knew and trusted as a friend whilst I was sleeping (I woke up during the attack), I find it hard to feel sympathy for Daniel, because I’d have cut off my attackers ‘manhood’ given half a chance. I’ve had to live my life following this, with a great deal of issues with my mental health, CPTSD, massive trust issues… However, there are inconsistencies in the story regarding any kind of violation, and the retaliatory attack was particularly brutal and I don’t think murder was justified.

@@willowmoon3461 oh I just meant I was struggling with sympathy. Fortunately I have never experienced such an ordeal but I have empathy for those who have so I just didn't know how to feel about this one. With the photos, the inappropriate messages to his friend about doing things to the lady etc it all made me feel a little queasy. And honestly my feelings when thinking of anyone being a victim of any type of SA are often things along the lines of "they deserve to have their bits taken away". Apologies if I gave the impression I'd been through this personally, didn't mean to. And I'm sorry for your experience and your feelings are absolutely valid! X

This is a man that started speaking to a 16 year old girl...this is a man that is taking pics & saying what he's going to do to a passed out woman. So please help me understand how his friends & family were blindsided by this? I always watch your stuff but this case I don't agree with you at all. Did he deserve to die in that manner? Maybe not. But police over there and over here are 2 different things. And we are talking about 2 different cultures altogether. He was a nasty individual end of. If he murdered someone you would be pointing out this behaviour as not normal. So why is it normal just because he was the one who was murdered?

Hmmmm, this is really tricky. As mentioned by others, it's not the first time a footballer has thought they are above the law. In fact sportsmen in general, and they often get away with it. Also, im sure I've read before that there is a massive issue with violence against females in Brazil and not much justice. Ill need to read more into this. If the guy did commit rape, I'd have no sympathy for him.

Bless, the difference between first world countries and the reality of the southern hemisphere is stark in this. Restrain him and call the cops ... who may pitch up in three days time and then do nothing? Our worlds are very different.
NO, I'm not excusing the murder, I'm saying that there are reasons why things like this happen

Great coverage of a really heartbreaking case. Ive been in a similar situation in which a male friend offered to let me sleep in his room until i could get home after i was put into an unsafe situation by a friend. I trusted this friend and had no reason to be afraid of him. I fell asleep next to him and was awoken to him touching himself with my hand. As soon as I was conscious enough to put a stop to it I punched him as hard as i could in that area, grabbed my things and ran. It was very upsetting and I had to continue to work in very close physical proximity with him (we were dancers). He never looked me in the eye again and I never told anyone i worked with about it. I was so sure theyd believe him and not me.
It was a horrible violation and it still upsets me to this day knowing that men get away with this kind of stuff so easily. I do however feel that considering how hard I punched him, he got what he deserved 😂

That triggers me, a lot. The murder was horrible. How often do guys like him getaway with stuff like that? I can’t shake the feeling for once there was payback in spades. And yes, I know it’s wrong, but I was a victim myself, so I can’t be impartial or just

Yes Emma Edison is a dominant force. The escalation of Daniel’s part (photos and rubbing … both way out of line) to almost being beheaded and the removal of Daniel’s genitalia scream Edison is a highly toxic evil man. He reminds me of men with Roid Rage! And it’s not just that night of his life, Edison was born that way. So my question is are his wife and daughter lying about the night of the murder and supporting the lies of Daniel’s death because of how he dominated them both for 20 years of marriage plus 18 years of age? What have these women seen from Edison before that awful night? Love and hugs to all of us Emma Kenny fans Amanda x 🇦🇺

I've been watching all your videos religiously and pretty much I agree with you all the time. But here something doesn't sit with me properly. For the first time!
I've seen you being very direct about your opinion of older guys forming a relationship with a girls under 18, you call them vulnerable children who are manipulated by these guys, also I understand that we may never find the truth about what happened between him and that sleeping woman, but again, I'd expect from you to have a solid stand on that matter too. I know you didn't praise him, but usually you are more vocal when it comes to actions like this. I'm not saying he deserved to be killed, but I struggle to feel any sympathy to him. I know he was the one who was murdered, but his actions prior to his death were absolutely disgusting! Don't care if he was drunk or not his behaviour was predatory, inappropriate and criminal. Shame he was killed in such a brutal way, but he was faaaaar from prefect.

Sounds like Daniel wasn’t the brightest tool in the shed and even possibly a sexual predator.

It's irrelevant whether the rapist had a daughter - Fred West had a few. Photographing her is a violation as is what he did, there's a few cultural factors missing in how women are treated about rape by certain law enforcement, especially when accusing beloved footballers (who was at the house due to chatting up a 16year old online🤔). Is it a family or a 'family', that dealt with his offence 🐴🕶️

Hi Emma I’m just about to watch your video but I was watching a murder on cctv episode about the missing school girl in Kinsman, Ohio and I was horrified by it the 14 year old girl was called Alianna de Breeze I think. You can actually see on the clips her walking to school pitch black and snowing. This guy Christopher Whittaker stalking the street, it’s so scary watching him and the little girl take a step back, I think he must have shown her a weapon. Please cover this story as it shows how these bastards prey the dark streets for over 2 hours, very unsettling.

I normally really enjoy your hearing your opinion, and I am aware that there is a level of respect we have to respect the dead, but this man was a child groomer and a r@p8st, and unfortunately in Brazil many police men , they do not take wemon seriously and he would have likely got away with it . I am disappointed that you are defending him and you seemed to be suggesting that r8p3 is not too big a deal and not believing the victim , simply because the boy is dead

As a child victim. I’m not impartial. I know what my husband would do now if he saw that person. Let alone if it was in our home and he had to come and rescue me. And I think it would be more brutal than this. Same if it was the other way around. Idk I just feel like the messages were very predatory to his friends. And I just feel like the police immediately saying that there was no assault, is probably why people take things into their own hands. It’s never believed anyway. Idk. Just an opinion.

I think he did violate Cristina… just my opinion. Didn’t deserve to die like that but I think given the laws etc in Brazil, I wouldn’t have blamed her husband for giving him a beating (but not brutality…) they took it way too far unfortunately for Daniel… I’ve also been SA’d & it’s a horrible experience for anyone to have to go through 😪💔

50;47-50:55 "Lots of women, lots of men don't report violations because they don't think they're going to get taken seriously. 100% I totally see that. I've lived that." I don't recall you ever referencing or alluding to an incident in your past but I know that statistically it's more likely than we as a society should tolerate. Details are not necessary but I'm curious if it's your past that has shaped the course of your life. It would go a long way towards explaining your passion to protect and heal the abused (and considering your focus on children it makes me wonder if any incident that did involve you occurred in childhood) and your sometimes vicious views on punishment. Of course there are many paths that could have led you here but that line struck me "I've lived that".

Emma, I love your content. I did notice a strong similarity between this case and that of Gary Plauche. However, there while you don't condone their actions (neither do I), in both situations they were saving family being sexually assaulted. Yes there is an age difference in victims. I was just wondering why the difference in your reaction ❤

Don't know who to believe or what to believe in this case, they all liers and all to blame as for the daughter they should ban her for studying law, the father was a monster the mother well should be locked up in a mental hospital and as for daniel well we are all responsible for our actions

Hi Emma, a great case this one with many people I’m sure on both sides of the argument. For me, the murder was awful, cruel & wrong. However.. Brazilian culture is different to ours in the UK & I imagine tempers can run higher there. Maybe this explains the horrible murder.
I would like to say my opinion on the victim though. The txt he sent, with both the picture & ugly message about her, tells me he wasn’t the all round good guy you have portrayed him to be. I’m more inclined to think he was a scumbag with no respect. Not saying he deserved to die, but I feel much less sympathy for him than you. Also, quite often on here you mention what you’d like to do to certain criminals, leaving little to our imaginations. Nothing wrong with that at all, but it’s odd to hear you now taking pity on a man who was brutalised by the family, sorry, I know I’m being a bit harsh here but that’s what I think x

don't think you can talk about it unless you been in that situation... just imagion waking up to a person doing whats aledged???? you'd be in histerics... it seems like you've minamalised this guy for all the dodgy stuff he did, just because he's the victim. ederson went to far, but i can't blame him for being angry with how this guy has acted with the guys wife and daughter?

Yeah this is really biased. Daniel was predatory af, screwing a 16 year old and non consentually rubbing his d!ck on a sleeping woman while saying disgusting things involving her to his friends says a LOT. Too many predators like him get away with it and then everyone acts shocked and angry when they inevitably do worse after getting away with it for so long. I say good riddance, such men should be made an example of. This video comes across like "oopsie he's so silly for doing all those things but he should have been reported so that nothing could be done instead" hmm nope doesn't sit right with me.
