  • Welcome back to 'Emma Kenny Crime Time', where we dissect some of the most chilling crimes that have shaken our society. In today's episode, we delve into the sinister actions of Stephen Seddon, a man whose greed knew no bounds, leading him to commit unspeakable acts against his own family.
Known to many as a loving father and loyal son, Stephen Seddon's façade concealed a dark ambition fueled by greed. Awarded 'Son of the Year' in the public eye, Seddon harbored a malevolent plan to expedite his inheritance by eliminating the very people who had placed unwavering trust in him: his parents.

When one of my sons was 18 he started doing drugs and selling all our stuff. I said if it continues you are out. I had to throw my own son out,and as a mum, it’s the hardest thing I have ever done but my son contacted me and asked to come home. I told him the rules and he complied and now thanks me as he came to realise he didn’t want to be a bum in the park in his future. Now he’s a successful guy and I’m super proud of him.

I feel bad when my mom tries to pay when I take my dogs to the vet or pays for something at the store for me and I constantly am telling her no. But to just to leech off her is unimaginable

same. I didn't have much growing up so I'm used to not having things and can get by with little, it makes me so not comfortable when mama is telling me she's gonna pay for something on my behalf. my mamas mom is in a nursing home and we were going to visit her finally and I was gonna get her her favorite treat and while at the store my littlest brother ( I have 3) tried to say no mama is paying for that too and I was like hell no IM buying the treat I asked what it was and I am going to get it for her to surprise her !
he had her card but luckily I was faster and I got to pay like I wanted 😂.
and mama gave me her green tea when they picked me up and I realized after she was bummed that I chose it so next time I'll be repaying her tea with the same tea from a store near me, cuz I found it and I feel bad. ❤ I'll never understand people being so vile to their parents/caregivers about money and stuff. it would never sit right with me.
mama may even be mad that I repay her tea with the same tea but fuck it she deserves to have the drink she wanted. ❤

@@felicityjohnston9276 as long as my dogs have food and they have what they need then I can figure something out for me. But as long as I can get them to the vet if needed and they have electricity and they have water and they got food and medicines that they need then I'm going to be okay and when my mom tries to pay for their food or their vet visits or whatever I'm always like Mom they're my responsibility their my dog's I'll take care of it and sometimes we'll argue about it and very few times she'll win tonight very often but sometimes she will. But she also knows that I work hard everyday.

Chronic pain absolutely shatters you! It physically changes your brain. Living with chronic pain is also living in the “fight or flight”, extreme stress state constantly.
Opiate pain medications can be used to manage that CHRONIC (constant, 24/7) PAIN…but they can be addictive if not properly managed by your prescribing medical professional.
We need to be careful because “chronic pain patients are becoming collateral damage in the war on prescription opiates”!

I hope you and all of my Emma Kenny friends (may I call you a friend?) see this. One of my own sayings about family is: you know you have great parents (I do 🙋🏻‍♀️) when you can take their love for granted AND you know you are a great parent when your children take your love for granted. Unconditional love ❤️ I’m sorry, Mamãe e Papai, for every time I did this (especially when I was a teenager), you’re both the best parents I could ask for.🇧🇷🇵🇹🙏🏻

Again I’m sorry if I made you feel sad and I know it’s annoying when you have to be the Pilar of Strength and if people always tell you “you got this, you’ve overcome so much, blah blah blah”. My parents did both held me accountable when I did something bad but they loved me as well. I’d like your view too on this Emma! I saw the news and I had such a primal reaction. I felt “hate” and a destruction mode. Usually I’m very forgiving but killing babies. 😢Nothing more innocent like a baby.

I think she will. But it will be a very hard one for her to cover so soon after giving birth to her beautiful daughter. She will have to detach herself emotionally in order to do so.

It makes you think, did their baby get mixed up at the hospital! Where did it come from? I should imagine his own wife and children are relieved he's locked up and can't do anything to them! And also, grandparents are sacred! His kids must hate him for killing their grandparents! Thank heavens he's off the street!

I've heard of this case before but as always I learnt more from you! I cannot imagine this. My mum is my world, my best friend, I've literally got into fights protecting her and it took 3 men to drag me off a girl who punched my mum. How on earth someone can hurt their parents purely for financial gain is beyond me!
(I understand there are people who resent their parents for valid reasons, my comments are when abuse is purely for financial gain)

I had to chuckle about the 80s and 90s name thing- two of my children go by their middle/second name instead of their legal first name. To this day, when someone refers to them as Steven or David, I don't know who they mean for a split second bc with family, they go by Nicholas and Cody.😂

I couldn’t imagine doing that to my parents. I lost my Momma in 2009 and it still affects me. My Daddy is still my world. I love him soo very much and I’m a daddy’s girl at 49 years old. That man is evil. There’s not enough money on this earth that I would take for my Daddy. Yes I still say Daddy.

PLEASE cover the case of terrence armer (murder of Stacey mackie) I first heard about it on an episode of 'count down to murder' when I was around 12-13 I'm now 21 and it still freaks me out. I grew up watching true crime with my mum and for some reason this is the only case that's ever scared me. Loads have made me angry, but never scared (I think the count down to murder episode was called something like a fatal friendship)
