That high pitched fake crying made my dog bark at the screen! Glad you shone a light on a case I haven’t heard before, some cases are under covered even by the vast true crime community we have today. RIP Shanti ❤
The way he was fake crying during the 911 call deserves a sentencing of its own too because it was so badly "acted" it was a crime itself, like for real what in the hell was that ?! Even the kids fake crying in bandaids ads during the 2000s had better acting skills 😂
Right 💯 It was utterly pathetic. The hammy overacting just made me cringe with secondhand embarrassment. 🤢🤮 It would be funny if it wasn't such a tragic circumstance RIP Shanti
Wow, when you were describing his terrible acting in the 911 call I thought how bad could it really be?! I was not prepared for that, sounded like the fake hysterics me and my sisters would do to get eachother into trouble when we we little 😂😂😂😂 not at all convincing
His high pitched voice is like nails on a chalkboard. I don't believe that I've ever heard worse acting on a 911 call. If he'd already been trying CPR, that would mean he was in a focused enough state to make a phone call and provide his address in an understandable fashion. The operator's eyeballs were probably rolling back into her head throughout this call!
I've heard the 911 call quite a few times and each time I wish it was possible to slap him through the phone (Some of the 911 operators are so patient) . GRRRR!!! I watched bits of the trial on court tv...the victim impact statements were heart breaking. Horrid, horrid man!!
I havent been watching lately as alot of cases involving children, i can't listen as they make me feel awful. So glad to be able to join you for this one, great video Emma. I got satisfaction from the lady cop laying into him about his fake crying and having no remorse, he didnt have anything to say, listeing to that phone call to emergency services was so put on and forced how on earth did he think that would convince anyone, poor lady and her child without a mom now :(
Just commenting to help boost the channel. Another great video! I’ve been subscribed to the channel for a while and watched several videos, always been a fan of your takes on topics in TV shows too, but love how this channel allows you to be even more authentic in what you want to say. This channel is currently my hyper focus and I’m spending multiple hours a day catching up on all the videos I’ve not watched before 😂
Thanks for the full coverage as always Emma, very interesting! I did have to fast forward Tronnes' 911 call, I just couldn't cope with that fake crying any longer. What an absolute whopper he is.
Jez how did the detectives not give him a slap ? That fake phone call is unbearable to listen to , I can never understand intelligent women not seeing red flags , such a shame , what a horrible man …..like a whaling banshee 🤦♀️
Ohhh Emma!! I forgot today was Sunday and I've had such a horrible day at work. I logged into UA-cam and saw you post and literally beamed and teared up. Not addicted at all to your videos 👀 RIP Shanti ❤❤❤
My favourite is the self-defence argument… Yet zero wounds on the killer and the victim is horrifically destroyed. Never ceases to amaze me how these people think that such a story will hold whatsoever. Absolutely delusional
It's a convenient excuse for these killers in the case that you took time to call 911 or did something else before calling... not saying that everyone's always coherent in a crisis situation, but the need to make the excuse and explain AT THE TIME that you didn't know what to do is really sus. I get it later on in the police interrogation, but the 911 call ???? When the crisis is still going on??
Let's be honest its one of those emergency calls when they just say arrest the caller. That's the worst emergency call performance I've ever heard. Poor woman.
Emma, i adore your channel. No one else presents true crime like you do. Thank you for managing to always balance your sarcasm and wit (giving us a few giggles), with your empathy and compassion, whilst giving us that extra detail with your deep dives that no one else in this area seems to manage. And of course, staying true to your catch phrase "crime and consistency" ❤ RIP Shanti, you deserved so much better
Ahh miss Em……,you’ve done it again! As per usual Emma, great job. Every case you have covered has been handled with great care and respect to all those people who have been adversely affected by the bastards and oxygen thieves that sadly walk amongst us. Thanks again Emma. With much love too all. ♥️🥇👍🌻⭐️😘🐾🐾💋
i love you, emma!!! i’ve heard of soooo many of these cases, but you always have so much to add, and i come from your videos more knowledgeable… and usually very angry about these despicable monsters. thank you so much for bringing us such amazing content and remaining incredibly consistent.
Being in Australia I have to wait until the next day to watch any new ones omg I hang out for these from Emma others just don't stand up to her quality of what she does. I adore this lady ❤️ her sense of humour and sarcastic comments omg I crack up laughing she is someone I would love to have a friend 💖 just the best 👌
I see you from down under. Emma deserves greater clout and recognition for her work. I’m not even sure she is strongly monetised…. No bleeps here. I hope her other platforms are paying off.
It's strange how many channels cover the same case very close together. I saw this recently again covered in on a channel i don't recall... but as always, i will gladly watch Emma's take on it, given she'll include info i hadn't previously heard about.
Never ever heard of this case...is amazing how many peeps think they cracked the perfect murder, bur as with narcissistic people they think their word will be enough
Your skin is glowing Emma 😍 I've listened to this case on another channel but of course you tell it the best and with added information so thank you xx Also to add his story about how she died was so far fetched that it didn't make sense from the off!
It's been covered by a few channels but that is bound to happen. It does always seem they cover some cases very close to each other time wise for no apparent reason such as the case being in the media currently due to the trial or something... But I will always watch the best channels' takes on cases no matter how many times I've seen them. Case in point ive already heard new info in this video only several minutes in.

That fake panic and crying is literally the most irritating and recognizable sound ever. Props to the dispatcher for keeping her cool having to listen to that. Its SO OBVIOUS.
I told my husband who was listening with me that if he ever gave such a melodramatic performance calling 911, I would haunt him forever! Unfortunately he has had to make several 911 calls on my behalf over our 28 years of marriage and he has always remained in control and calm since HE WASN’T RESPONSIBLE FOR MY NEEDING THEM!! I am very glad we met and married before social media, I would hate to have to try to meet someone that way.

It took several surgeries to repair everything. Very scary at the time and I always say that I have proof that my husband truly meant his wedding vows “in sickness and in health”! He’s my rock!
Excellent, well researched video as always. I watched the live stream of his sentencing and when Jackson gave his victim impact statement in court it broke my heart. Tronnes couldn't look at him and I think he had his eyes closed the whole time Jackson was speaking. He's a vile human.
Emma could you do a deep dive into the Barras family. It’s like flowers in the attic but a lot lot worse. I have no idea where l was but have only just come across the case. So many questions for this case haven’t been answered. It would be great to get your opinion. It is another shocking case.
Emma have you heard the case of Tristan & Blake Barrass, because I NEED your deep dive on it- it's absolutely bizarre and it happened in England! Never heard of it and I'm only across the water in Ireland.
I shouldn't laugh but at 27:03 he switches into a totally 'normal' voice whilst giving directions and then goes back to his fake crying. What a POS. Thanks for covering this one x
That noise he was making that was meant to be crying was going right through me and even scared my cat lol.. he won't be winning any awards for acting 😂
I've always enjoyed that this channel summarises interviews, so was very disappointed that this one had so much replaying of interviews and 911 etc. I found myself constantly forwarding through to get past that annoying footage.
Emma is great very entertaining.l know murder is obviously a very serious matter but there is also a bit of light hearted humour thrown in. I enjoyed it.
I love how he turns of his hysterical wailing for long enough to answer the operators question in a normal logical tone, and then goes right back to it. Nothing like a cheap fake millionaire! Poor Shanti, so many of us could become fooled by this piece of human waste. Stories like this put me off dating altogether!
I listened to the interview/interrogation whilst hoovering with my buds in and honestly thought he was doing a Winnie The Pooh impression 😅 very GCSE drama! Really thought he was the smartest person in the room, may she rest in peace
Hi Emma, not sure if you've covered this, I can't find it when looking on the search bar, but was wondering if you could one day cover the horrific story of Angela McAnulty and what she did to her daughter Jeanette. It's a heavy one, but your deep dives are second to none.
Don’t you know that the soft-spoken, peaceable and conscientious demeanor with the detective is exactly what he initially displayed to Shanti to gain her attraction and trust.

Omg that was the worst acting I’ve ever heard . What an excruciating performance. It’s got to be up there in the hall of fame for the most insincere emergency calls ever 🙈
Weird case, to many questions that were not answered especially with his ex wife, unfortunately we will never know the truth of why or what really happened
I've been looking at the case of 9yr old Elizabeth Olten who was murdered by 15yr old Alyssa Bustamante on October 21st 2009 in Cole Country Missouri . Elizabeth's 6yr old half sister Emma Bustamante was the last person to see her alive after they played hopscotch together. The autopsy revealed that Elizabeth had been strangled, stabbed and her throat and wrists were slashed.Alyssa pleaded guilty to second degree murder and armed criminal action and on February 8th 2012 she was sentenced to life with the possibility of parole. She had written notes like slit throat and taken part in mock horror videos. She also dumped Elizabeth's body into one of the graves she had dug the week before in a nearby wooded area. She won't be eligible for parole until she's at least 60 {2054}.
Emma covered that case 3 years ago and it's called something like 9 year-old lured into Woods etc. ua-cam.com/video/bfeaTVV7pA8/v-deo.htmlsi=TF5BU0GNd8a8NFv-
I knew this guy was gay 5 minutes in. He wanted to have a grand home (that only a gay man could love), he wanted it paid for by someone else. He wanted rid of her and have some dude move into dream home. I feel he’d been planning this for a long time.
David reminds me of Ezra McCandless, so manipulative! They use people, pretending to love, to care for them! David's ex is apparently, still being manipulated by him! They're both right where they belong! Ugh!! RIP Shanti.❤. Great story telling Emma!! Get to know someone before you move in together!!
Yeah, he was literally giving the investigators stories he hoped they'd look into. Such a scammer. His wife had enough of his lying and financial BS and he wasn't going to give up his money source. He's "extremely awful" as a human. 🤬💯
I think she had enough of his lies and his Shadiness, and her name not on the mortgage, they were sleeping in separate rooms, I think she wanted to finally be done with him, and she made the mistake of letting him know that while they both were living under the same roof
OMG, Emma! I was having a bath while watching this. Had set up my phone to play while I was scrub a dub dubbing away and then that phonecall played.. All that high pitched animalistic wailing and I heard my next door neighbour shout, "Stop killing that dog!" hah! Poor Shanti, I was already aware of this case as I'd watched a docu some months ago on it. Awful awful betrayal. People such as he do unfortunately walk among us but thankfully, he's not going to again and he'll be at the mercy of his own kind in prison. While heartbreaking for Shanti's son, I hope he has some peace of mind knowing the leech that did this to his beloved mum will never walk free again from prison. I do have to say one thing, the moment any man coming into my life stated they would contribute a third towards bills only because I had a child, they'd have been GONE at that moment as he was making a statement about his intention within the relationship and it sure wasn't to play Happy Family. People need to listen to that inner voice, question just about everything and above all, your kids come first, no compromises on that.
Hello from Vermont I couldn't resist mentioning one of the reasons I got divorced was because my ex wanted to build a house and I said no you'll get into too much expense. Neither one of us would budge
He is so bad at acting on the 911 call that he literally FORGETS he’s acting at times and talks completely normal at times before realising what he’s doing and pretending to sob again 🤦🏼♀️ also when people cry this hard you can hear the nasally sound even when they have calmed down and stopped crying. His voice clearly shows no sign of having “mucus” from crying meaning he wasn’t even crying at all. I wish this could be used as evidence lol because medically when you actually cry this hard, you gunna have snot pouring out and you can just TELL that this isn’t the case with him
I've always felt like half of my ancestry was a mystery. My father grew up in a very poor home with no ancestral pride, so when I was in the 4th grade and needed to know where we came from for a school project, the answer I got was, "I don't know, I think some German, maybe some Welsh, and I think one of my grandmothers was Native American?". In contrast, my great-grandmother on my maternal side had nothing but stories to tell. Stories about her husband's family moving to America from Germany, stories about her single Russian mother trying to teach Russian to foreign exchange students, and about her son-in-law's family that was quiet but certainly German. Wisconsin was a common migration zone for Germans. My mom did an ancestry test once and found some Ashkenazi Jew in her. It makes me wonder what kind of significance came with these German families moving to America in the 1930s. My great-grandmother, my Nana, died a few years ago, and with her went any family tradition or story we ever had. Nana was the eldest sister and the matriarch. Without her, we have no glue, and no connections. On my father's side, I knew his parents and went to his grandmother's funeral. Aside from that, we know nothing. All we know is that at some point, an impoverished family cropped up in rural Mississippi and made my father and his siblings. How did they get there? What culture was lost? What communities did my father miss out on? If one of my great grandmothers was Native American, how did she get involved with a southern white conservative family? Did they fight the odds to find love, or am I related to a victim that no one remembers? Why did they all move to America? Did my maternal ancestors flee Europe on the verge of WWII? How much of my America's history did my father's family see? So many questions with no answers, and I can do nothing but wonder. This ancestry database would be amazing. Not only for me, but for my father who knows no history or culture aside from impoverished America circa 1980.
I had 2 pretty long relationships where I went into the relationship thinking they were heterosexual, only to find out years later they were gay or bisexual. I do have understanding for them, but honestly it left me feeling a weird betrayal. One never actually cheated on me (that I know of) , the other did and I was very aware of it. I still don’t understand why they didn’t just talk to me about it
Oh I love the detective her and Emma in a room together would be brilliant she ripped him a new one. That poor beautiful mumma I'm sorry this happened to you and your gorgeous son RIP ANGEL
I'm no doctor by far, but I do know people with schizophrenia, and nothing about anything I've ever seen with this man leads me to think that he has it as well.
Loved that the detective completely called him out on his bs and made it abundantly clear that no one was buying it
That detective is an absolute legend.

You are such a lovely, kind, caring and intelligent person. Sorry if I’m over messaging, I don’t want to annoy or be a burden. You are amazing xxx
Sorry I had to jump off last night my lovely x
That’s completely okay Emma, I hope your mum is okay. Thank you lovely x
Hello,I read your comment. You seem to be a kind person too.Emma is caring and intelligent.I hope she gets what she deserves and her subscriptions increase. She is so smart, talking so in depth without any edits for over an hour every episode; brilliant. So much crap on UA-cam she deserves reward.I suffer from anxiety and depression and so I wish you the best.
Hi Emma,I'm Jonathan from Adelaide South Australia.I make sure I give you a comment every episode.Seen you in the Brit crime docs too.Your'e on another level. As it appears to me you could count the amount of edits/cuts in your vids on one hand, I think your'e a genius. @@EmmaKennyTV
Umm
😳😳😳😳😳
Umm
Oooookay… Hmm
This is awkward
Her son is such a greatly articulate young man. The hole will always be in his heart, but time will make it less painful. Just keep breathing.
This is actually hard to listen to. Well done to the officer's for not just slapping him one and saying you're "bang to rights". I mean, I've seen B movie actors that would win an Oscar in comparison to this idiot!
Emma awesome coverage, I watched a documentary before i learnt alot more. Thanks
😂😂😂 at Emma’s impersonations of the murderer talking to the investigator 😂😂😂 she is the best and we love her
When I see a notification that Emma posted, I can hear the theme song play in my head as I immediately go watch the video 😂
Omg this is only audio but he's not shedding a tear.
Thank you Emma!
I have no idea how the police put up with that fake crying for hours. I did my head in within 30 seconds of the emergency call.
“there aren’t SHOPS” you slay Emma! 😂 the defence team removing items from the property! 🤦🏻♀️
Ohhh brilliant. I saw you in york. I wad hoping to get a photo with you after but they said you'd gone. Totally understand though. You've got a tiny baby and you'd have had to get home xxx
I Love Your Content Emma❤ You made me laugh when you said Tronnes was not that embarrassed when he was going behind buildings been a frat boy 😂
Having 2 female detectives question him was a brilliant move.
Thanks em, stay safe everyone.
Emma covered that case 3 years ago and it's called something like 9 year-old lured into Woods etc. ua-cam.com/video/bfeaTVV7pA8/v-deo.htmlsi=TF5BU0GNd8a8NFv-
Thank you Emma xx
I knew this guy was gay 5 minutes in. He wanted to have a grand home (that only a gay man could love), he wanted it paid for by someone else. He wanted rid of her and have some dude move into dream home. I feel he’d been planning this for a long time.
David reminds me of Ezra McCandless, so manipulative! They use people, pretending to love, to care for them! David's ex is apparently, still being manipulated by him! They're both right where they belong! Ugh!! RIP Shanti.❤. Great story telling Emma!! Get to know someone before you move in together!!
This is exactly the reason why you should take your time before getting real serious in a relationship. ..
I want to always give someone benefit of the doubt and stay very open minded, however that 911 call gave me a serious headache
Wooow! It's going to be a great episode agaun👍😊
I love that detective 👏👏👏
No one give a shit mate.
If it wasn't such a dreadful situation, it would be laughable that "crying" was painful to listen to. How did he think he was getting away with this?
Omg I can’t wait to hear Emma’s thoughts on his 911 call😂😂😂he is such an idiot 😮worst actor EVER!!!!
That 911 call was unbearable, I was hanging out for it to finish. Also what was the deal between him and the ex wife - so suspicious
Oh my god…..he’s hurting my head! Good Grief!
Well presented
I had 2 pretty long relationships where I went into the relationship thinking they were heterosexual, only to find out years later they were gay or bisexual. I do have understanding for them, but honestly it left me feeling a weird betrayal. One never actually cheated on me (that I know of) , the other did and I was very aware of it. I still don’t understand why they didn’t just talk to me about it
That completely fake OTT wailing he did over the phone was immensely annoying. What a waste of oxygen.
That phonecall is so bad 😮
Oh I love the detective her and Emma in a room together would be brilliant she ripped him a new one. That poor beautiful mumma I'm sorry this happened to you and your gorgeous son RIP ANGEL
So much detail, he doesnt even realise hes digging the deepest hole and shoveling it on top of himself. Hes not even a tiny bit clever.
I'm no doctor by far, but I do know people with schizophrenia, and nothing about anything I've ever seen with this man leads me to think that he has it as well.
