Hi all. I can’t be on the chat tonight as I am out of the country with my mum in law. Back next Sunday. Love to you all . Em xxx
Enjoy whatever it is you are doing. X
Have a fab time away xxx
Have a great time xx
Enjoy your time with Etta Blue and your mother-in-law. I love the picture you posted on Instagram of Etta Blue drinking fruit juice - so cute 🥰 x
Sending love to you both, have fun guys!
Even if it turns out to be nothing, call the police!!! One thing I learned from Emma, 'risk offending'
Chase really was like “stop talking to them and give me cuddles”
RIP beautiful Elizabeth, she deserved so much better. Such a failure of multiple systems. It’s devastating and disgusting how often high level issues are swept under the rug.
I love Chase so much, I feel like I’m cheating on my own cat!
Me too 😂😂
@@kes78 - he’s just gorgeous!
My name is Elizabeth. I also got called Dizzy Lizzy and was also very trusting and because of this I have had a lot of traumatic things happen to me also. People like Elizabeth will also have these evil predators drawn to them.......as I have realised. Why are these people are always being able to avoid punishment and are allowed to still live in the community. The legal system has a lot to answer for. Cheers, Elizabeth
U sound like a real survivor❤
God bless u 🙏
❤❤❤❤
So my daughter told me about a suspicious van with two masked men, full of toys, first and last letters of rego numbers were taped over. I contacted our local police about it and the cop said to me, "It's probably just a group of kids making things up." I told this cop, excuse me, for one my daughter doesn't do that sort of thing and secondly my brother-in-law, not considered family anymore is a convicted paedophile who lives in the area, therefore my daughter is literally aware of strangers. But this reaction from the cop made me never want to deal with police ever again.
When someone I know had a girl of 12/13 being groomed online she called the police. They threatened to prosecute the child for distributing cp!! That was in the UK about 10 years ago so not that far back. They just don't treat them as the vulnerable human beings they are or with any respect.
Your imagined punishments for evil people get me through all the terrible cases you cover. Thank you so much for digressings. I want a t-shirt that says "But I Digress" :D
As someone who is into kink and BDSM, all his excuses are crap. While there are always outliers, the vast majority of people into kink take months to vet a potential partner and develop the level of trust required to feel safe to participate in the kinky things. No one in their right mind would meet someone and a few minutes/hours later say "hey lets go have fun, and btw, why don't you choke me".
It makes me so mad that people like him use kink as an excuse for doing horrible things, and not only sometimes end up getting away with it, but also end up giving those who practice kink safely a bad rap. I feel so bad for Elizabeth she didn't deserve this.
I'm not into either of those, but I have a dear friend who is. Everything I learned about the BDSM community and personal/relationship boundaries came from her, and it irks me when it's misrepresented, especially by predators.
🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 to all of that. Really disgusting
I dipped my toe in the pool. I had one excellent partner. One I trusted. He ultimately broke my heart (which happens). I have never trusted anyone with that part of me again.
Who cares. Keep your sexual fetishes to yourself
Utterly baffled that he was allowed to study to be a drug counsellor. Im a recovered addict and training to become a counsellor now, and i was required to fill out information about criminal history etc. i get there's the ability to lie, but i feel like if youre looking to work with/be around vulnerable people they should absolutely double check!
Me too. Im reccovery however i met a woman who as far as i knew helped run a group i went to in a new area i moved too and she ended up having to come and stay with me and it was the scariest experience of my life. She first took my phone, keys and bank card then she took my shoes and then the kitchen knives and i wasnt allowed out my room, had to go to the loo with the door open. She forced my friend to leave at knifepoint and thank god she did because he called the police and they found all my knives in cross formations under the bed. Turns out she was schizophrenic, not on her meds and smoking crack so i will NEVER trust anyone in the recovery community again. She is on bail for stamping on an elderly mans head to the endamgerment of his life and yet she didnt get recalled to prison??
🐱 Chase fan club! 🥰
He's adorable ❤
Love him.
I came here to say the same thing!! I just Love that kitty!!
I’m in! He’s so cute ☺️
I love how he gazes expectantly at Emma (“Pet me!”). Every video he’s in is extra-special.
Really concerning that the Taxi driver didnt intervene considering she wasnt complacent during this journey. Im actually surprised he took them into the taxi, some drivers dont take passengers if they are that drunk.
And that the bartenders didn’t get her home by cab without him.
I just love how much Chase loves you! His smile and his paw face tapping is just the dang cutest! ❤😺 ❤
My beautiful kitty face taps me it’s the cutest thing ❤
When you said shame on them my whole body got goosebumps.
Awful, my mum lives in flats and there is a young fella a few doors down who has mental health issues and substance abuse problems. He shouts and screams and causes a lot of noise but everytime she still calls the police. As she wants him to be safe and anyone who might be in there with him to be safe. Everytime he’s fine but that won’t stop her from calling on the off chance the one time she doesn’t could be fatal for him
Watching this all I see is how Emma's cat loves her bless
What an awful excuse for a human being. That poor young woman must have suffered so much pain and degradation before her death. He should never be released from prison. RIP Elizabeth. Xxx
250k Yayyy congratulations to the hardest working warrior woman on you tube…
Happy Mothers day Emma! Not only are you an amazing mother but an incredible human being as a whole!! Thank you for all your hard work! ❤ xxx
Safeguarding needs to be reviewed greatly this predatory monster should not have been anywhere near vulnerable people. That poor young woman failed miserably. Last year we moved our daughter out of her college because of a litany of safeguarding failures she told me about people being spiked, fights, knives and sexual assaults, drinking, weed smoking we got her into a new one she but she said it was still rough she is now in childcare so she can specialise in nursing or child psychology. Chase is being cheeky in this video bless 😊
Can't help but feel the parole people should have been on trial too.
I can see, hear and feel your frustration at failures of this case - it’s no wonder when you have lived and breathed this sort of situation for many years .. thank you so much for working hard to educate us and to see what you see…. Not easy on so many different levels - love ❤xx
Congratulations on 250K so very well deserved. ❤❤❤
This is the worst case you have talked about to date. What a heart breaking case. What a beautiful wee soul. These monsters should never be free. Huge failures yet again. When will things change. 😞 Sleep little angel.👼
I’m watching a day late but Emma’s helping me get housework done.❤
Chase is most definitely a cat-dog specifically a border collie cat-dog!!😂❤
Happiest Mother’s Day! So nice you get to spend it with the brand new Etta Blue❤
So many opportunities missed to stop this happening. It's beyond belief. Im bar staff, and i know what i would do in that kind of scenario, and i totally agree with your stance on the club nights you ran. Wish more people were as responsible as you.
Congratulations🎉Emma for getting a book deal & I cant wait to buy a copy of the "Serial Killer Next Door"..! I am looking forward to reading it. Thankyou Emma 👍🪻⚘️🦋😊
I went to re-train in the social services field and before i could set foot in the college i had to have a deep disclosure done into my past so why wasnt that done here?? You go out on placement so you need to be 100% safe to be around vulnerable people.
It's absolute insanity the non disclosure; when I did homecare we had to have a full enhanced DBS checking- no theft , burglary, assault against any person, in particular vulnerable adults and children.
Basic. Common. Sense.
This is so slack of them;
It cost her her life and it's not like there wasn't enough warning about this guy , where the hell was a probation officer,it should be a lifelong thing after. the kind of assault committed by this particular offender.
It's crazy! I had to have the same deep dive done into me to be the chef in a care home where I had minimal contact with clients. There is zero excuse for this. I have also worked in bars and if I ever saw a girl who wasn't capable of taking care of themselves I would speak to them and see if there was anyone who could come and get them and if not I'd call my friend who was a taxi driver and he'd always take them regardless if they vomited or not because its a safety issue and I live in a town with a massive naval base and British sailors are a disgrace when they get shore leave.
Chase is a simple cat, he sees Mum's hands moving, he knows he can get pets.
I love him to the point I've been looking for an Abyssinian breeder because he's just such a love bug ❤
That’s bloody terrible 😣 poor girl !! He’s a disgusting monster 😡
My condolences to Elizabeth's family and friends. RIP. x
I'm Tameside born and bred and was living down the road in Stalybridge from where this happened.
Me too ✋️
I don't understand why they don't make an app for sex offenders, **ESPECIALLY VIOLENT SEXUAL OFFENDERS** that would make your phone chime? Kinda like dating app meets amber alerts when they are near. That would be fabulous. I appreciate at this time we can go onto a web site and see offenders in your area. But people don't stay in there area and they definitely all don't follow the rules when it comes to always staying on registering like they should...
You cant do that in the UK i could have a peado living nxt door to me and my kids and know nothing.
@@kes78 you can legally request a DBS check on your neighbours criminal history if you feel unsafe. Just google it.
Gosh Emma, I hadn’t even heard about this case and I’m pretty local. Thank you for talking about Elizabeth and bringing light to the massive failures that led to her passing
How local? As it was all over the Tameside Reporter & MEN. It’s heartbreaking. Elizabeth deserved so much more, may she rest in peace 😢
@@Lawlaw198 Bolton, Greater Manchester. How about you? We get Granada Reports and BBC North West…I don’t think I’d ever heard about this. Poor girl was failed drastically.
@@cathbooth1980 Tameside, where it happened. I met my son’s father in the Star 20 years ago. Bolton’s miles away so that’ll be why. I’m probably unfamiliar with the news up that way, too. Tameside & the MEN reported it really heavily.
@@cathbooth1980 Bolton’s miles away from Ashton, that’ll be why you’ll not have heard of it. We’ll have different news coverage. I’m from Tameside, where it happened. Here it was very heavily covered. He’s pure evil.
R.I.P. Lizzy 😔😢😔
That picture of her in the silver evening gown brings tears to my eyes as I had worn the exact same thing when young:(
I work in probation and the risk level is worked out using a couple of different computer programs that take into consideration various factors such as previous offending etc.
It has been shown to be more reliable than using just the judgement of the probation officer.
I don't know how you can actually describe this computer program as being more reliable than the judgment of actual probation officers when we've just heard a case as heinous as this where the system obviously failed miserably & a young life was tragically lost. I wonder what the statistics are for this being "more reliable"?
It's used in combination with other things. But ultimately POs are not psychologists, and use it as part of a toolkit to assess risk .
The other thing to bear in mind is that regardless of what probation thinks or advises, the decision ultimately lies with the court. It isn't not hugely unusual for a judge to hand down a community disposal despite probation recommending custody
If you wanted to look it up we use oasys and ogrs. For some reason YT won't let me include links in my reply
This is just horrendous. Poor poor Lizzie. Multiple ppl let her down. 😢
So so many failings in this, the poor poor girl. Rest in peace Lizzie, the only thing that makes me feel slightly better in this case is that she’s far far away from this awful, disgusting monster that walks our earth.
I hope he gets everything that comes to him and is put in the unbearable pain he put Lizzie in.
Disgustingly sad.
I don't know how the neighbours did nothing, I just can't... this happened to me a couple years ago, my downstairs neighbour was a young girl that lived alone with her dog, her abusive boyfriend was over and every time he came over they would argue, he would punch and slam doors and scream and she would just cry for hours, it was 4am ish on 5th january and I was up for work at 7am and I had enough, instead of calling the police because they dont give a fuck about victims, FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, I went to her door, gave him an absolute bollocking, I made sure she knows shes worth 1 million of him and he actually apologised to me, they split up a few days later and she came and said thank you 😢 I honestly think if I let it continue then he could of killed her
Happy Mother’s Day Emma 🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿
And to all the Mums out there!! Love from San Francisco ❤
Happy Mother’s Day from the US!! This case is so tragic as so many failures led to this poor young woman being victimized. Good on you and your husband having plans in place for vulnerable women! If only this were policy in all bars, so many women would not be placed in dangerous situations. I bartended way back in the 80s and saw too many young women leaving with young men they had just met, could not know what type of person they were and some could barely walk. We were not allowed to interfere by policy, but many of us ignored that and would try to find the group she came to the bar with to try to take her home. Didn’t always work, and I was always afraid for those girls.
Chase is adorable 😍.
Thank you for the case
We know the character of the offender, I'm curious to exactly what the character of the judge is, I wonder the same thing every time a judge gives a nonsensical sentence of time, after they've heard all the evidence, it's insanely infuriating.that they believe that they've given real justice ! Maybe the childhoods of the judges need to be known, are they significantly different than the childhood of the offender, probably not.
This is where I live, and my daughter was friends with lizzy 😢x
That’s something I’ve always wondered. How do defense lawyers handled the fact they’ve gotten someone out of prison for some type of violent and/or sexual crime
Omg your cat looks like you! So cute!❤
This case is horrific and it scares me so much having been in a similar coercive situation with an older man when i was young and very vulnerable. I look back on things that happened and realise i was very lucky that I avoided anything more serious. Its a horrible, heartbreaking case.
However, i find myself in absolute heaven watching Chase asking for all of the loves ❤️ hes unbelievably sweet! I love the sound of his purring too. It makes me happy and reminds me of my beautiful cat that i lost a couple of years ago. Thank you Emma & Chase for these videos.
Happy mother's day to you Em and all the wonderful mum's on here xx
This breaks my heart so much.
I was raped on my 3rd day of uni because I was drunk, im so thankful that it wasn't worse, so i feel extra close to this case.
It was because "you were drunk"
It was because he was an azzhole douchecanoe who took advantage of the situation! It wasn't your fault!
Hope you’re healing from that horrific incident. You never deserved that and it was not your fault at all x
I am so sorry that happened to you
I wrote a reply yesterday but see I'm getting notifications for other replies but don't see my own... ugh, I hate YT
It never happened because you were drunk, it's about power over another so if the person has the mindset, they will regardless. women were raped even when they wore long dresses and corsets and sober the person was at fault not you . I hope you received the help you needed and deserved. I've been there myself. it happened when I was a child by people known to me and as an adult 13 yrs ago when I was 38 and it was classed as a life threatening attack and sexual aggression over 10 hrs as I received a lot of injuries and a knife was used which was by a neighbour when I lived in Spain and I'd been horse riding and offered to help him, he was jailed within 2 hrs after forensics and both at the hospital and at his home including photographic evidence I couldn't fault the police they were brilliant in my case . I ended up moving back to the UK with nothing and homeless and a few mths later diagnosed with cptsd
If I ever see or hear anything like this I would always do something to help !!
What a heartbreaking case. I listened to this on my drive to work this morning. I found myself shaking my head and swearing a fair bit about this monster! Apologies to the other drivers who may have thought I just had road rage! This tragedy could have been avoided! Thanks for another great deep dive Emma x
“Oh yeaaah… just strangle me” omg😮
Cuddles and ear massages to Chase and Dolly.💜
The police station is literally up the road 😮
I’m 26 minutes into the video and I know it’s going to end with Emma telling us that those in authority will make a statement about “Lessons being learned.” We should start playing Lessons Will Be Learned Bingo.
So happy for the new episode! I cracked my forehead wide open yesterday and got 7 stitches (and a black eye, too). I have a mild concussion and feel like crud, so I'm just laying in bed binging Emma's older videos today! :D (Happy Mother's Day, Emma!)
Ouch! Get better soon xx
Ouch! You made me feel better about having conjunctivitis though!
@@lucyfs7311 Thank you!
@@mercyjokes2d696 Thanks. Feel better!
It's not mothers Day in the uk. We celebrated 10th March. How did you manage crack ya head open?.
Shame on those people who heard her screaming and didnt call for help. I would rather apologize if im wrong versus having someones death on my conscience.
Sometimes I wonder if part of the problem is a reluctance by experts to ever believe they could be manipulated. Oh, he must be telling me the truth when he says he has relapsed. After all, I would know if he was lying. Nothing to see here. let's just move on. The system is failing too many people: women, children... it is disheartening.
Seems to me that everyone always apologises, but nothing ever changes.
Happy happy Mother's Day Emma! I bet you're really enjoying this year!
I love the sarcasm during the narration...you make me laugh!
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms and mom figures out there. I hope everyone has an amazing day, including the guys who help in the celebration! 💞 I'm late to this one, but this already sounds awful for that poor girl.
Medium risk, medium voltage. Totally agree to that one Emma 😊
Headbonks Chase ❤
I love Chase! Cats are the best!! 😻
Happy Mother’s Day to all.
Why do they say he had disregard for her safety? He specifically had invested and enacted harm against her. I don't understand why they use what sounds like a misdirection.
Chase is like a perfect Disney looking kitty ❤
It’s as if they set these monsters free off the reigns like wild dogs!
They know they’re going to bite someone 🙄 it’s madness!
I absolutely love you and your honesty!!!
Don't fuck with cats and Emma Kenny 😼😼
Another roaring success for our British probation service 🤦🙄😅 No idea where the whole 'medium risk' classification came from but almost seems like they go by the number of offences rather than the severity... A bit like "Well he only did it once probably just a one off mistake and everyone deserves a second chance right...?" Well sadly some people just don't if they have that type of potential. Probably just emboldens offenders as they've technically gotten away with the ol' slap on the wrist. Just hope the systems actually follow through on their promises this time and another poor woman doesn't die because of their failures 🤞🤞
Thank you Emma!
Thanks em. All the best everyone.
As a mum who has been very protective of my children perhaps to protective at times.
The thought that these types of perpetrators are out there & the relevant services are either unwilling or inadequate to follow the protocol put in place to protect our children, young adults time & time again we hear about the failings of these services & then the usual spiel of " lessons must be learnt" or " An investigation into a case to highlight the failings" which frankly usually ends in some waffle about what could of been done all persons keep their jobs & another families life is ruined.
Either follow the rules, procedures or guidelines or dont bother having any, how hard is it to understand????????
@emma Kenny if you think the UK system is shit then you should come to Cyprus it's absolutely shit also if you know someone who is in a high position you can get away with anything, as for this case absolutely sad and horrific 🤮😡😪
Most of the time it’s protocol over people. This time they didn’t care about protocol or people.
Love all your content
This is heartbreaking... Could not be angry just cried and cried. I understand the rage from you I can't fathom how did the family react 💔💔💔 I wish all the healing to her family and a lot of settlement because all the failures of the broken system 💔💔 RIP Lizzy 💐
I believe corruption and blackmail and the system along with the few others 🙏
I find it really odd that he asked a friend to help him get her onto the bed when she was unconscious?! He managed to hold her up alone whilst waiting for the taxi and basically carry her to the apartment with her barely conscious... yet decided to ask someone to come round to help to get her from the floor and into the bed?!
R.i.p. Elizabeth ❤️
Emma could please cover Malcolm Webster
Your cat is adorable 🥰 seems very smart and pays attention lol
Happy Mothers Day! People are sooo self absorbed they are too lazy to help others even if they are screaming
I love your channel and your consistency
I'm definitely buying your book.
Same!!
If they saw he was getting her drunk enough to stop serving him why not intervene
5 minutes with him in a room and a cattle prod xx
You know we're in the UK when you see that thumbnail.
Awe safe travels Emma
All the people who let him out and the neighbours around should all be in jail. DISGUSTING PEOPLE
Thank you Emma xx
The bdsm crowd have no idea about love
Poor girl
Please do a risk offending merch to spread awareness
I love watching your cases now you are unrestricted by TV guidelines and, while it is a close call, being able to hold your own against Chase stealing the show takes some doing ! I love cats. I am sadly very allergic to csts :(
This one's horrific 😢
WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE...??! 😡😞
This bastard reeled her right in and so many people could have stepped in and saved her .... That neighbour at least tried to do the right thing .
Poor Elizabeth ,can't bear to think about her suffering.
Rest gently lovely girl - you deserved so much more than this ❤
Jamie lavis case please Emma
we need to as a society stop thinking that everything is "Her" fault. It was the man who put elizabeth in that situation, in his mind he knew that he would be able to use this stupid narrative that "She wanted it" No one wants to lose their lives. I really appreciate the work you put into this case because you put the victims in the forefront always. Your channel is a tribute the victims of crime. Keep doing what you do! RIP Elizabeth! I honestly think all Elizabeth wanted was an actual friend to listen to her and talk to. She trusted the wrong person, but any person could have come up to her for a hug, a cup of coffee or just a little chat. We need to be better as people too!
I've never heard of this case. I'm a true crime fan. But never heard of this in my own country. I get that we have sub judice laws in the UK. But it drives me mad that a politician can fart in the house of commons and its not out the news for days, and if one of the royals parts, then its weeks in the press. We need to know who these offenders are, what they did and when and most of all, we need to know if some utter burk of a parole officer is letting the gits out. You commit a crime, we deserve to know. If this woman had known what he'd done, she'd probably never even spoken to him, she'd have walked away. I damn well know I'd have walked by and I'd have made sure any of my family would as well.
Parole officers are in the US. Probation officers in the UK do not have the power to decide who is released from prison, that would be the parole board backed by the Secretary of State
