Great video! I almost bought an X100V in 2020 but alas, I did not lol. However!! I was lucky enough several months ago to pick up an absolutely beautiful little XE4 for its original retail price RIGHT before it too skyrocketed in price-also a dynamite little camera🙏🙏
Great content!! I bought the X100S years ago and instantly fell in love with it. Later I got an X100F, but I kept the X100S. Then I sold the F to buy a used Xpro2 and a few prime lenses. Though the S is overall quite slow, the SOOC images are amazing! So, on a daily basis, my Xpro2 is allways in my Domke bag, and when travel light is key, I bring the S. I LOVE both cameras! They both are such a joy to use!
I love mine and as you say, it goes everywhere with me. I have shot low light portraits at ISO 3200 and have had them printed huge for clients and they came up amazingly well. Brilliant little camera ..
I want an X100V. I have an X-H2 but I've also had an X-E3 for several years that I use in the same manner as you describe, albeit with the small primes. I love using it with the XF 27mm f2/8 pancake lens. A poor man's X100V but I love it. I used to spend endless time in Photoshop, I only used to shoot RAW with my Canons. Since transitioning to Fuji I have cut my photoshop time drastically. I love shooting the Jpeg Film Simulations and messing with recipes. Most of my images nowadays are straight from camera and post production is limited to the occasional crop or brightness/contrast slider. Nearly bought an X100V on a couple of occasions, but needed to trade my X-E3 and a couple of primes, but could never quite pull the trigger. Damn X-E3 has me emotional. One day though, one day!
hahahaha emotional attachment is real! the xe3 and xe4 are both solid cameras. I just love the built in ND filter of the 100v and the old filmish look of the camera. And I agree, in camera recipes, i never really need to edit my everyday or street photos. the in camera simulations are amazing. trying to find a way to turn my preset into an in camera recipe. soon and very soon!
@@philporto touché good sir… I like your thinking. Maybe I’ll do that and switch ‘em and see if she notices 🤪🤪 just swap her hot shoe cover and soft release to the other camera 😇
A camera with a heart and soul ❤️.
so true!
Also a proud owner of this camera and I couldn’t agree more with you!
heck yeah. its so amazing

@@philporto back atcha man! Love my X100V… used it so much around my family and documenting day to day life that my wife kinda stole it… haha!
@@AndyMcDandy hahahah thats why I gave my wife a 100F so the V could stay mine.

@@AndyMcDandy hahahahah do it and report back. lol
I just didn't get on with it. It took great images but I wasn't sold. I much prefer my Sony with the Zeiss 35mm f2.8. I wanted to love it too
