Love the video. Been following for years. Any chance we could get a biography video? Like how you got into BBQ? Competition? How you started your own brand of sauce/rubs? I would love to see a little history on your passion, how you came up in the ranks and maybe what it takes to be you day to day. If not, that's cool too. Thanks for what you and your family brings to the bbq game. Always appreciated
Son you deserve your own show on the food network. Obviously the eats are off the chain but your personality is genuine .You're just being Malcolm doing what you love, no pretentiousness. May God bless everything you put your hand to.
"accidentally" found this channel a year back when I was doing a seafood/crawfish boil for my birthday...and IM SO GLAD I found it! Been following ever since! born and raised in Wisconsin and now a Texas girl for 5 years now....meat is king! I look forward to every video you put out! Keep up the excellent videos and great grilling/smoking advice... it inspires me to do so much more, and my friends love me for it! If you're ever in the Dallas area, you have many friends here!
Thank you so much for your passion and care you put into these videos and food. I have began smoking briskets, and other goodies because of your excellence.
Reminds me of the late nights spent outside of most South Korean US Military installations. Anyone that's been knows what I'm talking about. Good times!! Good stuff Malcom
Mr. Malcom knocked it out of the park again!! I didn't have any Boucan glaze, so I subbed a maple bourbon glaze..still a hit!! So simple and easy. Definitely a crowd pleaser. Thank you sir!!
Just made this for the football game. It's easy, simple and great. The star of this show has to be the Boucan sauce. I tried the recipe as written and also tried a Caribbean jerk marinade, and they were both great. Thanks, Malcom!
Love the video. You and your wife have come a long way in the past 15+ years. I reviewed some of the older videos compared to now, and you have consistently refined your presentations. It's obvious that you're more comfortable with the camera and what you're doing. You both are champions! I am going to look to see where you are in competition soon, so I can come meet and cheer you on.
Just joined the channel a few weeks ago this guy is great I love how he puts temps and times in every video its helped my bbq game a lot so all I can say is thanks and I appreciate what you do for your viewer
man i always love watching @HowToBBQRight u just know wot he cooks is gonna be good i cant wait to get my job and get a smoker at 15 i wanna start young ish :)
I did these today, well kind of. Grilled the skewers with AP then glazed with Malcom's Bourbon butter glaze from the Steakhouse Chops video.... also did Jess Pryles bacon wrapped tenders
Excellent! We made a sweet and spicy red pepper pork belly bacon broil then grill on Friday that was amazing thanks to you 🍖 Then on Saturday cooked a whole lemon pepper chicken. Whole chickens are so good 🍗
Malcom I’m from Brandon ms I know y’all are from Southaven I would do absolutely anything to be able to cook one day with you and Mark you got me into cooking man the reason I started
Ordered some of that Captain Rod yes last week and made this tonight. Talk about tasty. Man that glaze just did it right. Also grilled some fresh pineapple to go with it. Outstanding Malcolm…..
I made these tonight and they were the easy and delicious. I didn't have Capt. Rodney's glaze so I used some Texas Pepper Jelly "Rib Candy". Thanks for another great recipe.
Another great video Malcolm! As my mouth was watering I thought "Man, what if you took those off the skewer, put 'em in a soft flour tortilla with all the fixin's (onion, tomato, lettuce, sour cream, etc...), man that would make a great taco!"
Absolutely nothing wrong with using McCormick products. Everything they make is high quality for such a big company. They should give you a sponsorship
Just made this. It’s going to be a staple from now on. Absolutely delicious and my kids loved it. The only change I made was to the glaze. I could not find the glaze used in the video, but I picked up some local red pepper jelly at the farmers market. Subscribing for sure!
Wife and I tried this recipe tonight. We didn't have the Captain Rodney's glaze so we improvised with Maple Syrup, Crown Whiskey and Louisiana hot sauce. Cooked it on the Traeger so we didn't get the same level of sear, but even still it was delicious!!! Thanks for yet again another bomb cook!

I’m a fan of the brown sugar bourbon
I mix the chipotle rub 50/50 with a honey rub for wings. Can't beat it.
