Excellent work gents! I've considered this exact swap in the past on my 2004.5 cummins. Did the 6 speed bold up to the stock 48RE flex plate ok? And how was the clutch pedal assembly done? Is there any video of that. Thanks!

How did you get your 4 low to engage?
You fill it full of cylicone incase that seal blows out you dont ruin a trans. Itll ketch it and will still drive. If it fills up with water and gunk you didnt seal it properly. I was always told fill the train with cylicone and pack all around the edge with grease so it doesnt stick together
So you can use the original adapter plate just have to use a starter spacer right?
Hey man thanks for the great vid. It Gave me the confidence to do my nv5600 swap into my 03 cummins. I even did the 29 spline replacement imput shaft on my t case so I could keep my 271hd. Let me tell you once I had the t case opened up im like wow this is it? Very easy to rebuild for anyone with the right set of tools and lil mechanical skill. Any how my truck is done. And im waiting on my recovery file from smarty to flash my ecm however I can't figure out how to make my reverse lights work again. Did you guys fix that and if so what did you do?
I didn't see the third brake light (high mount) light up on the 2nd gen shorty. Was it just the reflection from the ceiling lights or is it out?
What brand and model number are those tail lights?

My southbend chatters like a bastard. Called them and they assured me that's normal. Drives me batsh!t nuts...
Same...really pissed me off. Had I known, would never have gone with SB, chatters bad!

So I have this manual transmission that I want to install, and I know he just made a video on it but honestly how hard was it for you? Like was there an incredible amount of things to do or was it relatively easy
@@kaidenclingenpeel7140 it honestly didn’t take very long and wasn’t very hard, I got the swap done in 2 days. The thing that was a pain in the butt was getting the tuning done but other then that it was pretty easy
