I love how each unit for this army has a pretty unique scheme, yet they look pretty unified when together.

jay quick tip. you can use old molds or silicon bits to take up more volume to make your mileage longer

Dude you are so tempting me to dig out and finish my Dark Eldar Dread Pirates...
I would've recommended bringing some of those colors onto the armor or the cloth, but this is a testament to how characterful basing brings an army together more than anything else.
Finally more Drukhari! I love it!

kitbashing is fun and makes your army unique.
i mostly do it when i get some spare things.
got a plan on getting the Dread Talon box and then getting the HH jump marines, would get me up to 10 Raptors and 10 warp talons, and with a twist on the Raptors. :D
then i will get the HH Cataphractii termies and use the shields from the HH jump marines and get some hammers and i got some special assault marines for my Iron Hands.
With each of these I watch it just makes me want to do Drukhari as well

Even though they have a different color scheme you did a great job tying them into your army via the bases. I think the bases really tie together the idea that they're one force, on the same battle feild

Excellent conversion.
As far as the different color schemes go, with the Drukhari they actually make sense. You have the Archon forces, the Witch forces, and the Haemonculus forces, each of which can have their own paint schemes. Not to mention the various smaller groups like Scourges, Hellions, Reavers, and even (if you can find them) Beastmasters. So it makes a bit of sense to not have a complete army wide color scheme if your Drukhari army has elements from different groups.
Honestly I feel that dark eldar have been "just kitbash it" and I think it was 5th edition codex that basically told you to kitbash as much as you can. And personally I would never buy crotesques not when it was new and espcially not now that its failcast.
That said, really neat conversions and really like the walking Talos.
Thanks for the video. I've built/ kitbashed 5 Talos and 2 Cronos so it's really fun to see Jay's thought out and involved process for these mini's

That skaven kit is also perfect to kitbash CSM Obliterators and Mutilators.
These turned out really awesome. I think if I ever get into Dark Eldar, instead of painting it like leather, I'd make it look like their own flayed skin, because I feel like that would be on brand for these guys.
Ive recently become obsessed with my homebrew kabal of Drukhari that escaped the fall in a stolen Craftworld. ...and a word document that expanded on drukhari culture since there isnt enough of that.

I was the same with necrons, was always a space marines player until I got some crons to paint. Had so much fun doing the glow effects and the pulsing energy on their weapons that I main them now.

I will add, the Wracks can be terrifying - or they could be, at least. I don't know how they play now, but their liquefiers used to be a 4+ poison template with d6 AP - which meant that if you rolled a 1 and a 2, they could absolutely *melt* a unit of your sister's Blood Angels >:3
Broadsword silver is one of the best metallic paints ever made!
If you wanna try some paint mixes with the AP 2.0 speed paints... slap some of the red into Enchanted Steel. It creates the BEST metallic color ever, a really rich, deep violet that looks absolutely beautiful as armor or weapons.
WOW I can't believe this. I've been thinking how the Stormfiends would make great Talos / Cronos units forever.

I just painted a Talos myself and I followed the gw colour scheme but I really like the red version you did. It’s crazy how cheap drukhari are lol I have like 4 boats and 40 infantry models and it’s somewhere like 900 points

I miss the old creepy scorpion style talos from 3rd ed - but this conversion is pretty fun! p.s. Milliput is water soluble so you could have washed it out.

As more of an AOS player it's crazy how few points this army is for how many models. I have heard it's the same for quite a few others army's also. For how long it takes me to paint it's detours me from wanting to play 40k.
