As a Tyranid player, surprisingly we only have one vehicle, the Tyrannocyte. But yes, it is mad of meat.

Cause you can quite rightly argue that all tyranids are creatures, so larger ones can't be vehicles 😅
But Chaos has creeing, rusty meat, which makes it way more death metal than 'nids.
As someone who is NOT a good painter, I'm glad Jay gave praise to the previous owner instead of insulting them like other you tubers do. Thank you for being a pillar of the community!
Its all practice my guy. Just buy you a bigger piece watch a few youtube vids and go to town. Then once your done get you some denatured alcohol or whatever the best remover is for the paint your using and start new again. Or a 3d printer does wonders as you can print like 50 of the same mini and go to town and on each one try a different technique. This way youll get to see your progress over time.

For reference, that "finish" is actually natural. That model mold is just like that. One of the reasons why it's one of the more cool models out there.
Think he meant it as the sculptors used that technique to make that effect, before it’s cast in resin. Not the previous owner
1:33 it would of been much clearer here if he specified the sculpture. He knows though because he references seeing the model on forgeworld multiple times and looking at other paint jobs for the same mini.
Definitely a cool take on the pitted thick steel panels on historical tanks, and the gloss green really brought out that cast iron enamel feel.
Death Guard player here! First off I have to say these are lovely minis. Secondly I'd take them as Foetid Bloat Drones since Greater Drones got sent to Legends so you'll get all the fun new toys, especially once the Codex drops, with the Foetid.
I'm stuck on the fact your store has a "used" minis section....I don't have a single store nearby who has that kind of support for miniature games.
It would be nice to see these integrated into your army as a final shot from the video. I believe you've done it with other armies as well. Great paint job by the way.

Dude my favourite thing about watching you is your true passion for fixing old things and making stuff that normally doesn’t work cohesively and yet every time bam you make it fun to watch and learn. I’m an old guy and I have feared taking my classic metal and ancient plastics and ruining them trying to make them look good with new stuff.

Jay, you're a genius! Incredible how many colors you get and how well you select each color on each section of the model. Less colors seem to force you to really agree with where they go. I'm going to try this!
Tip for making big eyes... pop: add a thin layer of gloss varnish. The gloss will catch light much as a natural eye would do it, and will add somewhat an organic wet look.
the spinney scratches on the rotors is a great touch, definitely going to remember that

Your color scheme evolution was so so sick! The bright pleasant armor immediately popped with the rust and those pinky bodies dang that color gradation is the perfect icky awesome!

If you're after deep-strike in deathguard, you run deathshroud, it's 120 points for a unit of 3 so it's still cheaper than the greater bloat drone. If you're after competitive deep-strike in deathguard that you're fine with souping nurgle in, you take nurglings.
I would rather just run feotid bloat drone as they're cheaper and are technically legal to play. If however, you want to go for mass flying buzzing flies motif and your rival is fine with legends, then play both.
Also, that turd takeoff stem with biohazard splash zone came together real nicely.

I'd love to see your kitbash for the plagueburst crawler! Your centurions are still one of the best looking kitbashes I've ever seen.
You should paint up some Deathshroud Terminators to go along with Mortarion when you eventually paint him. The Deathshroud also have really cool lore and they have to stay within 49 steps of Morty (7^2).
Not that I expect you'll do it but a Nurgle themed Knight Tyrant, would be EEPPIICC. I know you thoughts on the knight castellan/valiant. But still i think if you give it the right amount of nurgleness and paint it the same way you do with your DG, I dunno man sounds like lots of views to me.

Lately i've really been playing with the idea of kit-bashing a Hive Tyrant or Norn Emissary into a Norgle Daemon Prince. 😄👍
If you want an idea for the crawler, I reversed the cannon and dozer on mine to give it a more aggressive look. Always bothered me how the cannon was permanently fixed upward, like it minimum engagement distance is 200 meters.

I’d like to see some deamons. I always think of grandfather nurgle with the greater deamon and nurglings and beasts of nurgle ( giant puppies just wanting to play and their new friends die)
Poor Plaguebearer endlessly trying to count the nurglings. Such fantastic fluff for a cool mess of and army.
You should, at the end, pair the model you finished with your basic infantry unit, if the model isn't the basic infantry unit, so we can see how it pairs with your main army faction

Aren’t greater blight drones a legends unit now? Also Deathguard do have deepstrike in their terminator units, we also have infiltrators in form of nurgling allies.

I never use the clear plastic on my nurgle flyers, instead i give the fly/wasp legs making them look like resting bloatfly's
It's not a nugle army with out the Great Unclean one bringing up the stinky unwiped rear. Doesn't have to be next, but hopefully soon
