Not impossible without a Schematic but bloody hard and frustrating. Chasing down faults like this really gets me down. Your an Auto Electrician and Mechanic. I repair Guitars and Amplifiers so i was lucky enough to have all my test equipment. Chasing down problems on a Car is far more difficult and kudos to you for going to such lengths. People scrap their Cars for less lol. Your content is muc appreciated and i have learnt a few things thanks CE.
We have learned it's better to walk away and get a fresh look sometimes. You did a ton of work to make this repair correct and you displayed a lot of patience too. Well done.
Any time dude, was a pleasure spending time with you and your wonderful family, don't feel bad for needing the help. I'm a Diesel tech and auto electrician, and Luis ... well ..... Luis is an expert at everything. You did a really good job couldn't fault your work. I would give you a job tomorrow if you lived a bit closer
I appreciate mate as you know you have done so much for already I hope one day I can repay you, we also had a wonderful time and I’m always ready if you need 😉👍👍👍👍
Thank you. I admire your drive and determination - it motivates me, though I am far below your level. Brings to my mind the proverb, " You can't keep a good man ( or woman) down". Corsa owner is lucky car came to you. Well done.
Johnny's Speed Shop thanks mate, absolutely they are top guys I’m very lucky to have made some really good friends here and hopefully I can meet them all one day, specially the one in North Caroline 😊👍👍👍👍
Finally got a chance to watch this in peace lol great job all of you! Even Thomas got a look in 👍😂 You got it there mostly on your own Igor so well done you! 👍☺️
Thanks Niamh I’m glad you were able to watch 😊👍, yeah it was a lot of work this one i got very close but it was nice to have the boys around, it’s true sometimes is better to step back and reset sometimes the answer is right under your nose 😀👍👍👍👍
Fantastic work mate. Lots of fiddly work and frustration but you for there. Diesels are hard as you can't just check for spark and do simple checks. Great work 👍
I have a vauxhall Corsa d 2008 it has water damaged ECU I got another ECU numbers matching the last letter in the number did not match I have had the ECU checked and it was fine I put it on my van and someone came out with opcom and done some stuff in it and programmed in injectors there were no fault codes Cummings up yet it is cranking over but will not start. any idea what it could be?
Great job. Not so simple taking the ecm's apart to swap parts. But you did great. A diesel with air in the system is always a pain. But as Leon would say... Sorted! 👍
Thomas EXOVCDS very close indeed I’m still gutted 🥵😊, the tattoo gave me some good vibes repairing the ECU 😎... It was nice to have them around Nuffz is specialised in Diesels so it took literally 5 minutes ... cheers 👍👍👍🍻

Please where the reference for transistor and resistance ?... please..
Hello Mate, very good video. How did you vent the car in the last step? come from Germany and can hardly understand what is said in the end.Have my Corsa replaced the complete injection unit and the control unit. With Startspray the Car is running fine. There are no more error codes stored but the car does not start. The mechanic thinks that the injectors are activated too early, I think it could be the same problem as with your car.I would be very grateful for an answer. Greetings
b d hello mate we cranked the car while undoing the nut from the injector pipe rail side, some fuel came out and some air purging the system and the car started ...
Thanks for the answer.👍🏻Yes, the injectors and the rail were replaced with both sensors. The pressure in the rail is just under 400Bar.The mechanic thinks that the engine control unit is still causing problems because the injectors are already activated when the ignition is activated.
Hi could you take a look at the video I uploaded for Corsa d Do you think this is ecu problem iv changed injectors Fuel pump rail sensor cleaned egr valve almost ready to take a big hammer to it any help is very appreciated
repair dog = automatic thumbs up. Nice repair! Wonder if it could be flushed of air with the help of some silicone spray in the intake as a fuel source. thx for the video
Thanks mate 😊👍... We’ve tried to get it going with easy start spray, it would try to start but nothing, after getting the car running an injector fault was logged, just then I realised an injector got damaged with the first ECU shorting it making even harder for the engine to start with easy start spray.. cheers 👍👍👍 P.S. Here is the injector change video ua-cam.com/video/JeanYzqd7rU/v-deo.html
What a fuck on mate ... I have 2008 1.7 cdti Cora’s with error codes p0301 and p2146 1 st error code states cyl8nder 1 misfire and second code states 1+4 injector circuit high voltage ..... any advice??? I was gonna dive into injectors but will have to check this
Indeed a pleasure...
Enjoyed the hospitality and everything else... was the minimum I could do for you!

Thanks Luis as you know it was much appreciated, hopefully one day I can reattribute 👍👍👍👍

b d hello mate we cranked the car while undoing the nut from the injector pipe rail side, some fuel came out and some air purging the system and the car started ...
Did the injectors get replaced ? Did they check for fuel pressure in the rail?
Thanks for the answer.👍🏻Yes, the injectors and the rail were replaced with both sensors. The pressure in the rail is just under 400Bar.The mechanic thinks that the engine control unit is still causing problems because the injectors are already activated when the ignition is activated.
b d did you check for crank and cam signal ?
thanks for the info. i will contact the mechanic about the sensors
Got the same issue at the moment. Do you know if the ECU is earthed individually or is it earthed once bolted down to the body? Thanks
It does have some ground connector going into the ecu and also the casing is grounded 👍👍👍👍
Hi could you take a look at the video I uploaded for Corsa d
Do you think this is ecu problem iv changed injectors
Fuel pump rail sensor cleaned egr valve almost ready to take a big hammer to it any help is very appreciated
Will watch now mate
Hey how did bleed the air out ?
Same problem, but it starts with ether but then I falls out again 😵💫
Hi mate u said u brought second hand ECU £150 WITH DASH LOCK ND what else some thing u talking module ? Fuel control module or body control module ?
repair dog = automatic thumbs up. Nice repair! Wonder if it could be flushed of air with the help of some silicone spray in the intake as a fuel source. thx for the video

MARIUS MIGUEL hello mate can you explain what symptoms are and how it started ? Cheers
when the key is in contact. and I want to start. the engine does not turn. I read the errors and I detected P1625
when I put the keys and I want to start. does not happen nominally
What obd reader are you using. Link to buy please

Hello, great movie and best regards, I have a question what name do you have this flux. Thank you for your response.

What a fuck on mate ... I have 2008 1.7 cdti Cora’s with error codes p0301 and p2146 1 st error code states cyl8nder 1 misfire and second code states 1+4 injector circuit high voltage ..... any advice??? I was gonna dive into injectors but will have to check this
Can you feel any misfire or hard to start?
So it was an airlock then.
paulkazjack after fixing the ECU I replaced a fuel line that was broken and created an air lock in the rail 👍
I have the same code as you 55568383kz
Cant stand to watch this anymore the background music is so annoying as was it in part 1 hope it got sorted😡
