Thanks! Now I FINALLY know what a "Lead Master" is! I always thought, "why do they have to make it so difficult, couldn't they just have an input gain and master volume like on the 2203s?" lol

I like clean, rythym, and lead, tone but most always used pedals on clean tube. Befor my 900 was stolen i set gains at 9:30 and 1:00 and biased at master volume on 4
I don't understand if the rhythm clip has effect on the lead channel or only on the clean one

Show me more. I have this amp, but I don't like it as much as I do my JVM 410 HJS. I would like to how to shape the sound better.
I have the original version and the EQ is one of the reasons it is loved.
Is the Lead Master LED bulb supposed to illuminate red when it's pushed in or when it's pulled out?
I thought left pushed in it should be clean, and when pulled out it's to engage the Lead Master?

Mine doesn't sound like 100 Watts? compared to other Marshall's its quite quiet? It does sound excellent however!
Do you have the output switch on Low or High? (Low is 50w, High is 100w)
I have the 2553 50-watt (25w on Low) and mine not only RIPS, it’s LOUD and can keep up with the best of them in any band situation. (Bought new June 1988)
Is this like the jcm900 2100?
