@@rainy_day9 coming from an herbalist and a transitioner myself- rosemary oil, jamaican black castor oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, mafura oil, pumpkin seed oil, soybean oil, argan oil, and lavender oil are amazing for damage reverse!! and if you want a trustworthy blend, the brand miss jessie's has a mafura oil blend that i have used to the last drop three times. and the mielle oils are all really good too!!

I improved my hair by doing these: Including more and more vitaminC in form of orange, lemon, and kiwi fruit, 7-8 hrs of adequate sleep daily, consume nuts such as almonds, walnuts, or peanuts in limited, you can also eat fish like sardines, salmon. Exercise at least 20 - 30 mins everyday. Using natural shampoo, neem wooden comb, scalp massager by Littleextra Cooconion two times a week. This is good to control hair fall.

I bought pureology leave in detangler, the one in a purple bottle, and it STINKS and does NOT detangle. Biolage shine spray milk smells nice, but subtle, and detangles like magic

just apply it to your mids and ends a few hours before washing your hair and then shampoo twice and wash like normal! applying oil to your hair before washing is great to help protect the ends from being too stripped. you can also put a few drops in your hair after washing as well if you’d like :)
also when applying it after washing i would recommend applying it when your hair is still damp to help it sit in your hair better and look shiny and soft rather than too greasy
The pureology leave in conditioner was horrible for me personally i also have curly hair though, it left a weird sticky/greasy film on my hair and actually made it a lot harder to brush.

Afaik silicones will coat your hair, kind of like plastic. So it looks nice and shiny but stops moisture going through Edit: also not all oils will sink into hair. Some just coat it as well. (Try pure squalane)

I can’t believe every hair enthusiast I watching and following recommending that leave-in from purology . It made my thin hair electrified ! I even divided my hair in two sections and applied two different products on it (colourfanatic on one side and leave in from JVN on the other) and hair with Purology on it again started being so static ! Eeew! Even K18 oil couldn’t mange it so I had to rewash my hair ! Verdict : not what u hear on social media could work for u . Does this product really work for anyone ? I’m so sceptical
K18 doesn't work on my hair at all and every person I talk to that uses it doesn't have a positive experience with it either I got more progress with olaplex number three..
It sucks to be honest. The only good thing about it is that if you don't have a ton of severe breakage, you don't need it. (Abbey even went as far as to say in a recent video that you don't need it if you don't get your hair bleached or colored.)
@@vickie8329 If I'm being honest, I don't think anything works quite like K18 from how people have talked, but if I remember correctly Abbey has talked about possibly stopping K18 and seeing if her hair will look the same with the Living Proof Triple Bond Complex Leave-In hair treatment. That is quite a lot coming from her. So yeah it might not repair damage, but it seems to work so well that she will consider just using it to see how it works alone. (It's still not cheap at $45, but it's cheaper than K18.) Otherwise if you still don't want to spend that, there are some things you can change as far as overall hair care that can help, and there are good shampoos and conditioners for this too. (L'Oreal's bond strengthening shampoo comes to mind. It's really good imo.) EDIT: I remembered Abbey did a review on the Revolution R-peptide leave in mask, and while it's not exactly a K-18 dupe, it is similar to Olaplex, and might actually have some ability to repair the hair. (She didn't test it long enough to really find out though) She did like the way it made her hair feel. It's only like $12.

Realized it was the moisturizer - maybe doesn’t mix with my body chemistry. Using one with Shea butter now. No smell!

Look look into curly girl method approved products. Even if your hair isn’t wavy, curly. Etc. Avoid sulfates, silicones, drying alcohols in your products. Figure out your hair type and porosity and go from there.. there’s always a reason for hair loss and breakage/dry hair… figure out why. And try new products, doesn’t work. Move to the next one. If it does work stick with it. Just do some research. Never listen to people with an affiliate link in there videos either lol not everyone’s hair is the same

This one isn't Redkin it's k18- use on wet hair in lieu of conditioner (leave in- don't rinse)
Treatments are not conditioners. You need to ensure to use conditioners as well ( A moisture one not a repair one)

Used the coconut serum today - made my hair so oily! Used only a little bit. Used to love it but it’s not working for me no more
The molecule in Argan oil is smaller and penetrates deeper for repair. Coconut oil is too big of a molecule and only adds shine to hair.

I use k18 and follow instructions very carefully when my hair gets tangled. What can I use after?
Try the Pureology 21 Benefits detangling spray after leaving the K18 on for 4 minutes. Abbey recommends that too.
