well from doing some research trying to figure out what drone I should buy for the first time and its pretty hard to find anything under 1k for fpv. Unless you go analog and cheap out on some things but who would wanna do that unless you have to. People also say this is a beginner product because it is super easy to use compared to if you were to build/buy your own fpv drone from other companies.
Thanks for the great video. What editing software do you prefer and also for someone who is not a pro at it. Would like to color-grade but I don't want to spend hours with complicated software. Thanks again for your help.

I ordered it, arrived, updated it but never used FPV before and I’m quite worried😂 tempted to buy the manual remote and use the simulator few days because as I understand its a completely different way of flying compared with the motion controller provided. Im used with normal remotes so Im probably only use the motion controller to test the drone. Dji care refresh is imperative! I’m 1001% sure I AM going to crash it 😅 hopefully not on high speed/altitude. Always watched your videos and I hope you make one detail video on how to fly full manual for begginers. Im sure with this one more people will be interested in flying in FPV
I know this has nothing to do with this vid but on my DJI mini 2 drone saying RC update is showing up. But here there is problems. So I been putting if off because of the problem that was going on . My ? Is. Is it safe to go ahead and do the update? HELP!!!
Nice one! Do you think I would be able to fly the Avata 2 with my accessories from the first avata (remote controller & mention controller 2)? I was thinking to buy just the drone Thank you!
as i understand the informations on dji website right, the Avata 1 stuff isn't compatible to Avata 2, because of changed hardware within controller unit and the goggles ... it's like the Mini 3 and Mini 4 are not compatible too for same reason
Myself I am new to the to DJI's Avata Fpv style drones..so do you guys recommend a controller over the single "joystick" controls..even using an Avata?..as someone who is used to a gaming console controllers I think I would be uncomfortable with that one "joystick" control?..how do the two compare?..to you get more "feedback" and feel per say over the regular controller over the joystick style one?...any input would be greatly appreciated..thanks
For starting off the FPV is a lot easier to use and much less chance of crashing. I’d use that for a while then practice on the simulator and get the FPV controller once ready
Great Video DM, I bought the Avata 2 off the back of your recommendations, you miss a trick here mind, I bought the Goggles 3 and motion controller 3 to use with my Mini 4 pro, which was a real treat.....maybe plug where to buy an additional battery or 2 as I already bought said bits and bobs....really great tutorial mate. TY
I'm thinking of selling the Mini 3 Pro with screen controller and fly more bundle and integra goggles and picking this up with the new goggles! I have the Intergra goggles too but doesn't look like they are compatible. I dont know what would be a fair price for the bundle, drone is brand new because they replaced it with a fogging fault
Amazing how tech is evolving, but what is even more amazing is that it seems like 99% of people can easily afford to splash a grand like its a few quid these days lol.
Nice one, being disabled I will def be getting this one, limited use of left hand and really miss flying drones since my accident. Looks good and a decent price with it being similar.
Never been into FPV due to the learning curve and flight times etc but I am seriously considering getting this little drone as it looks amazing, i am definitely not into building and tinkering with them so for me this drone is an absolute quality product, it would also completment my mavic 3 pro and mini 4 pro for all scenarios.

Great review but what I noticed the most is the production value of your videos is getting better and better. Its hard to tell when you are using DJI stock footage and your own.🙂
@@DMProductions Impressive! Question: Would ever consider creating a video of the behind the scenes regarding how and when you get a new product from DJI? How much to time you have prior to launch etc?
I bought the entire Explorer Combo and Fly More kit for the AVATA 1 last week, I haven't unboxed a thing and decided today to send EVERYTHING BACK... including ND filters and extra props to purchase the NEW AVATA 2. 😂😂😂 CHEERS! 🍻
@@DMProductionsWhat about ND filters. I use them on my mp3 and m2. I have been looking on amazon for them. Will the filters for the first Avata fit Avata 2
Why doesn't anyone mention that this drone needs to be registered due to being over 250g??? All the review i have seen no one mention this important information.
All UA-cam videos released today about avata 2 mean one thing. DJI reveals their fanboys. Aka pro dji reviews. Tune in to reviews released in a couple weeks. They will tend to be non biased.
So after watching like 10 different UA-camr-infomercials of the Avata 2, I found NONE showing off what seems to be the most unique feature, the front facing “AR”-Cameras of the googles 3. My best guess is it just wasn’t there (in firmware) when you guys got the review units and was embargoed to not mention it more than just what it is “supposed” to do.
Nah it was, it’s very cool and you have the choose to see out of the goggles or PIP, the issue is you cannot screen record it when you switch to PIP it switches off screen recording
@@DMProductions does it switch of any connected device also? Or the WiFi streaming? It’s beyond me that no one (at least what I could find) has done an effort to show this….
Not gonna lie. I don’t like how some UA-camrs are calling this a beginner drone. Yea, it’s good for beginners. But that’s not the target focus of this drone. It’s meant to be a FUN drone. Not just for people who are beginners. It makes it sound like it’s an entry level drone or something.

GREAT REVIEW M8 ! ! !
where is you link specifically for the avata 2 luts 10 bit log M
Great review mate. So, as this is greater than 250g, does that mean it’s restricted as to where you can fly it?
Does it hVe the 120 meter altitude limit like Mini 4 Pro have?
Is it quieter?
yes a lot quieter
How does it work with line of sight if your not looking at it. When flying looks like it goes a good distance aswell out if site
I wonder if the avata 1 nd filters will fit not?
Do you shoot 4:3 or 16:9? What is the native for this sensor? For gyroflow I’d opt for 4:3
Ok we have to stop calling things that cost more than 1k a beginner product. It's a professional drone that beginners can fly.
That’s a great way to put it
Interesting take BUT the so called cheap “begginers drones” are difficult to fly even for experienced pilots, specially for FPV begginers.

Could you tell me what the dimensions and weight of the combo box with the 3 batteries are?

Would this be good to fly over a tall ceiling reception room?
Amazing video bro! But can you change the frame if you broke it? Like on dji avata 1?
I have dji avata and i changed already 2 frames haha
great review! how are the controllers and goggles with the Mini4 pro?
They work 🙂
great review of the Avata 2, where did you film the the test flights with the ships??
Hi is the DJI AVATA 2 is 4s battery or 6s battery ? and how much extra flight time compared to AVATA

So good review, can't wait to see you flying more Avata 2!
I'll be flying it a lot next week in Vegas so more to come !
Am I correct in assuming as its over 250 grams you'll need additional a2cofc??
Only if you want to close to built up places, without you can fly 150m from residential areas. I always recommend the a2

An Avata 2 “already”?!
DJI makes it difficult to really invest in a product, when they come out with something 🆕 every other day.
And yet again another type of battery that fits nothing else, try finding batteries for it two years after they stop making the drone …. 🤔☹️☹️😫🤬
