Agreed. I see there only being 4 true Generational guys, hence why I only included those guys int he video. But the "Generational" term is thrown around way too much. Like Caleb this year... He is "Generational", he absolutely is not. He is very talented QB. Not a Generational Prospect.
He’ll probably have a just fine career in Jax, break franchise records, but not be the top QB in the game. That’s probably fine, but won’t meet expectations. I agree though, we don’t need to hype every single QB that is a top draft pick as the second coming.
Trevor is a good qb. He'll just never be the guy he was hyped to be. Im a fan and after 3 seasons i realized hes not as good as he thinks he is but hes better than everyone else says he is.
We just watched a video about how the other 3 guys took 3 or so years to truly show up. I don't think we can say he isn't generational yet. We can't predict the future.
It’s odd with Trevor. He’s basically just like Zion. He obviously hasn’t lived up to the generational hype, but is still a good player and can win in this league. This season’s definitely gonna be interesting: if he has a phenomenal season the generational talks are back up, if not, then well we know what he is.

The list of QB's who have had a shootout and almost won against Mahomes in KC during the playoffs consists of only Trevor Lawrence, Joe Burrow and Josh Allen.... pretty elite company there. People are selling on this man right before he booms.
If some parts of the video don't seem to quite line up, I apologize. The NFL has copyrighted some footage and I am forced to delete those parts of the video unfortunately to remain monetized.
@@joenasty4395 I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Yeah I saw other comments saying that and I think I dialed the music back enough with my recent uploads.
He had more injuries than the operation man last season. He’s 24. When he’s healthy and doesn’t have the worst coach in NFL history coaching him, he’s been excellent. think we should all slow down
Lawrence is a good enough qb but we need to stop comparing these guys coming out of College to qbs who are in the HOF. Its enough pressure being drafted #1 and being the starting qb now he needs to live up to some of the greats?
Could not agree more… I look at Lawrence as one of those Generational prospects like Elway, Luck and manning. But for guys like Caleb Williams, Kyler Murray, Joe burrow, I didnt see them as “Generational” prospects. Really good ones. All that to say, we do put that generational prospect label on too many guys when they truly aren’t that.
Justin fields had a messy coaching staff the entire time in Chicago. Yet they don't give him slack? Trevor lawrence is like a dak Prescott. Decent qb but will never make it past the first round

Give him some time. Everyone wants everything microwaved. He has that winner attitude. I do believe he can lead the jags to a Superbowl but everything has to go right on top of him having a good season.
Exactly my thinking! He doesn’t even have a #1 WR yet… they should trade for Higgins. But I think he can lead them to a Super Bowl too. It’s so hard to win in the NFL.
@@JustAnFootballGuy I really believe they have weapons in engram and Kirk but now that they have a decent O-line I think Etienne and bigsby will have way better seasons than they did last year.
I honestly feel the same way about Bryce Young. Everyone calling him a bust when he went to quite literally the worst situation in the nfl and had a coach change mid season. I’d personally wait a season before calling him a full on bust
@@DbAcegamingyou hear yourself talking about engram and Kirk as weapons. There good support or X factor players but they don’t have a guy to take over a game. He needs a real weapon to open up the X factors
Trevor Lawrence never should have been labeled a generational QB. He doesn't look or act like he's serious about the job. He seems more interested in his hair or going 🏄♀️
@JustAnFootballGuy it's more a personal opinion here that Lawrence never comes across as serious about football. You look at Elway, Manning, Luck, Mahoney etc they seem to be serious about being a QB. Never get that vibe with Lawrence. Subscribing to your channel now.
Great video. I think we also have to keep in mind that Lawrence came in a year earlier than guys like Luck and Elway. When you age-adjust the start of their career, Lawrence looks even better. We don't even need to mention that the last quarter of 2023 he had a high ankle sprain, shoulder sprain and a concussion, but played because the Jags were so close to playoffs -- insane! A lot of, honestly, casual football fans have some strong takes on Lawrence, but everyone who charts this stuff as a matter of profession thinks Lawrence is a stud. He's become a litmus test to me of who actually understands football.
Thank you! I appreciate your support. And I agree with what you said. I may or may not agree with the test on a persons football Knowledge by asking them about Lawrence👀👀
@@JustAnFootballGuyIt’s certainly a good test to see who actually watches Jaguars games! Us Jags fans have watched a lot of bad qb play over the years, and it’s pretty obvious that while Trevor isn’t perfect yet, he’s better than anyone we’ve had since Mark Brunell😅
I think the biggest thing about Trevor Lawrence is his dedication. After he was drafted he said that he has other interests beyond football, that football isn't everything to him (or something like that). And that's the thing, you have to be all-in when you're going to be a legend like Elway, Peyton, TB12 - the sun rose and set for football to those guys. TB12 was 157 when he retired, and now he's broadcasting...in talks to be an NFL owner. Peyton does his MNF thing with Eli, he's involved in youth camps and all that. Elway was the GM of the Broncos until recently. I'm sure they have other interests as well, but football still seems to mean more to them. Lawrence may just need more time to marinate, but it could be that he's just never going to be as invested as the greats. I see Lawrence following Andrew Luck into early retirement more than I see Lawrence become one of the greats.
Trevor Lawrence has had more dropped passes since he came in the league than any other QB in the same timeframe. He’s got a ton of talent and he’s definitely an NFL QB, the problem is the team around him not stepping up and doing their part too. He can’t catch his own passes man.
To this day i still will never understand all the hype around trevor lawrence or why he was ever considered to be this generational talent watching him at clemson i just couldn't see it when he played real defenses he looked bad missing simple throws not being able to go through his progressions turning the ball over hell not even looking like he knew how to read defenses and its literally the same old story in the nfl he's not who the scouts thought he was i just dont understand how anyone couldnt find any of the holes in his game alarming when he was in college because they were on disply a whole lot especially in big games
@@JustAnFootballGuy not gonna lie after yesterday you’ve gotta be concerned if your the jaguars brain trust they brought Mac jones there for a reason I wouldn’t be shocked if Trevor gets traded
Trevor has the jags as a consistently solid team. A solid team can always end up having a breakout season. His weapons haven't been great. They have been alright. Its not like he has travis kelcy and hill. I don't know what will happen, but it's not too late.
I really don’t understand people we’re over here calling Brock purdy a system qb but we’re also saying that qbs like Trevor Lawrence need help when every qb needs help
The biggest problem for me, talking about Elway was he played on a team in a conference, that if you removed the Raiders, the conference flat out sucked. You go through the Super Bowls from 84-97, the only question was "At what point in the first half will the game be over?" (exceptions being the Bills 91 and Bengals 89). The NFC Championship game was referred to as the 'Real Super Bowl'. Elway got smoked during his first couple of years. A lasting memory in the minds of all Raider fans from early on was, the Raiders had knocked around Elway so much that when he came out of the huddle in the 2nd half, the defense got in position and then stood up pointing and laughing because Elway had lined up behind a guard. He benefited early on from being in a garbage conference, with mostly 2nd rate qbs, or good qbs on lesser teams (Marino in Miami losing 38-16 to SF as an example). Lawrence is in a conference with several very solid qbs, and the NFC has some as well. He's just not as successful; Jacksonville is not as good an all-around team as KC, Baltimore, Cincinnati, probably Buffalo. Miami is on a positive trajectory, and Houston may have the next greatest qb in football (we'll see as time goes on). So, at best, Jacksonville may be the 9th best team in a strong conference (previous 6 plus Pittsburgh, Cleveland, maybe even San Diego with their new coach). And the NFC has at least six teams, probably more, that are better than Jacksonville as a team (SF, Dallas, Green Bay, Tampa Bay, Philadelphia, Detroit). Is Jax a better team than Seattle, NO, or Indy? -- all were 9-8 last year as well.
@@tylerwilson8615 Was he a generational prospect? He was a great talent but I don’t know. I Love Matthew Stafford as a lions and rams fan, but I see him in that tier of Kyler Murray, Caleb Williams, Joe burrow, Young, level of talent

It’s too early to write him off, and Trevor is capable. But he won’t have the time that Elway did. The window of opportunity doesn’t stay open in the NFL like it once did.
The Prince who was Promised, his song really is that of ice and fire. I believe he can be the generational QB that every sees him to be. We've seen him do it. let's not just lie and say he's had a elite roster around him. He's that guy. Always thought and been saying Lawrence is overrated since he was in college. I'd always thought what Fields career would look like if he went to the Jags or Jets instead of the Bears.
Calvin Ridley is a WR1, they just misused him. Playing him at X severely limited his upside, and he still put up over a thousand yards. Still, this is no excuse. If what he needed was a true #1 in order to breakout, he had one and failed.

Goes to show how Tom Brady is so awesome. Not even considered a generational quarterback even now, and he way way exceeded in level of play all these mentioned.
No one can judge a supposed "generational" QB this early into their career. With that said, Elway WAS the Broncos and their offense. Wins and losses do not measure just how good certain players were and that holds true for their records early on in their careers. Also, Elway and other QB's played in a time when QB's weren't put in a bubble and protected by the rules and the officials. Those QB's took a beating, week in and week out. Defenders were allowed to play defense, sometimes far too much defense. Receivers were mugged half of the time and those QB's had to do a lot more with a lot less help from the officials. Sorry, it's still too early to tell but Trevor Lawrence is at an advantage just because of the era he has begun playing in. Imagine some of these modern QB's playing with the hits and pounding of years ago? Everyone likes Patrick Mahomes, myself included, but he (literally) runs to the officials on any play that doesn't go his way, and all of these guys are almost held to rules of 2 hand touch or flag football. Heck, the "Pro Bowl" has actually gone to 2 hand touch. That's still embarrassing to say out loud. Yes, a player can't control when they come into the game, but you then should be able to expect more from them, being that they did come in at a different time. Trevor Lawrence will have some good seasons but he is not looking like the "generational talent" many people thought he was going to be.
@@JustAnFootballGuy I agree, he’s an elite number 2, but I do think that Ridley can put 1300/1400 yards if used correctly. Those numbers are WR1 numbers, even if he’s actually not in the upper echelon of WRs in the league.
Oh of _course_ it's the fault of *your* play-callers when it's _your_ QB who suffers for their terrible play-calling. Of _course_ it is. Meanwhile, on a team you *don't permit* excuses for Justin Fields called out his own play-callers publicly, who then panicked & switched up the play-calling, which allowed him to lead the pre-D.J. Moore _Bears_ to lead the league in offense for 3 straight weeks proving it was *only* the play-calling holding him back. Know what happened after that? His HC returned to the previous play-sets halving the offensive production *_further_** proving* that His Play-Calling Was The Problem. Seen _any_ videos pointing this out? Right, only ones blaming fields for things caused *by* the play-calling. Well, you're one of the people accepting all social media memes about all other QBs, no? So wtf is _your_ whining about now?
I agree. Teams are way too impatient. Like with Bryce Young, the guy had nothing around him. He really doesn't have much still. But this year probably will be make it or break it year.
By the way, Elway was not actually drafted by the Broncos first overall. He was ALSO drafted by the Colts, but quickly traded to Denver when Elway refused to play for them.
Yeahhh I know, I totally forgot about it but I was too late when I realized he was traded to broncos. Thanks for saying that kindly… another guy said I’m a fake news spreader, amateur and not a football guy. The videos I make aren’t perfect, it’s a one man show, I work 45 hours a week, go to school and then come home to work on this.
We have a very different recollection of Elway. Terrell Davis was good enough that his 4 great years got both TD and Elway into the HoF. Elway benefitted from having a soft division for nearly his entire career, and yet Elway only won the division 3 times in the 90s. His performance in the 80s was better, but the division was even worse then, save for the Raiders during his first two years. Elway was great in playoffs as long as he was playing against the Browns. -- Talking about Luck as "starting the fire only to put it out" sounds exactly like Trevor's playoff game against the Chargers.
He's good enough to win with, but not win because of. Adding Brian Thomas will help massively. I think the jags will finish 2nd in the south/make playoffs due to their defense
@@JustAnFootballGuy , i dont think thinking in terms of position ranks matters. davis, kirk, thomas, and engram is a solid group. as long as he adds playmaking, then that alone helps their offense. kirk is a possession guy, and davis is a deep threat. if thomas can be a med route guy, then they got what they need
It's too early too call it, Trevor doesn't have a defeated attitude, wouldn't be surprised he is a force to be reckoned with. After all we are the ones eating potato chips on the couch(alright !!! I work and everyone works for a living I assume) But Trevor is learning and getting stronger Lastly: It's any giving Sunday for everyone and really can't compare prior seasons because for better or worse, variables changes all the time
That’s what makes the game so interesting, it’s constantly changing and when you expect one thing, it goes the other way. It’s easy for us to watch the game and at this or that. But there is the human element and it’s way harder than it looks.
Leading the league in turnovers has held him back from being elite and being out of the Elway, Manning, Luck convo. He seriously needs to clean that up in year 4, because it has cost the team multiple games.
Hmmm does that include fumbles? Because I went checked interceptions and he was ranked 6th with 14 interceptions. Mahomes, Allen, Tua, Hurts and Howell had more interceptions than Lawrence. I guess I would disagree then
Yes. Fumbles are included. Since joining the league in ‘21, he currently has the most lost fumbles with 14. A lot of those are in the red zone as well, which makes it extra frustrating. Because he can definitely move the ball down the field, but it’s hard for him to finish for some reason. If he can reduce his turnovers significantly, he will be a force to be reckoned with.
I think the biggest problem surrounding Tlaw has been related to the lack of consistent talent surrounding him. Realistically he only had Kirk and Engram for the last two seasons, Ridley didn't even come close to performing at an adequate level for a WR1. If you watch the film back, Trev of course has an overthrowing problem, but his receivers get hit in the hands a lot and drop the passes. I don't think it's valid to write him off yet after his monstrously dominant career from HS to Clemson. Regardless, love the vid!
Thanks for leaving a comment and love man! I would agree. I like Kirk but he is a good slot only, engram- hot and cold, and Ridley was simply a let down. He needs that true #1 guy. I think the jags should trade for Higgins. They got that connection.
Trevor is putting up pedestrian numbers compared to his modern day peers. He unquestionably hasn't lived up to his hype. His highlight of the 27 point comeback was the 4 INTs (that you didnt mention), everything during the actual comeback all of the heat was on the Chargers offense.
I didn’t mention the comeback because UA-cam copyrighted the footage, so I had to delete it. I would argue 2-3 of the interceptions were NOT his fault. For sure 2, 1 tipped and the other the WR stopped the route.
Trevor doesn't have that fire. Brady is throwing tablets, Pat is yelling at people. He comes across as whatever after a loss. I'll just move on. All is good. You gotta have that fire he doesn't have.
@@JustAnFootballGuy I remember one loss, at the press conference he didn't even seem upset. Watch Brady or Pat after a loss. They play like their hair is on fire. Different level of intensity. Some guys are just quieter but the team needs to see you are all in.
yelling and screaming doesn't mean anything. Joe Montana wasn't a yeller or screamer and he led the 49ers just fine, as a coach Tony Dungy never yelled and was successful. As a rookie Lawrence also stood up for his running back after they benched the running back for a fumble. Lawrence went to his coaches and spoke up for his guy and let them know they needed to put him back in. He's shown he'll stick up for his guys. There are plenty of guys who have fire, just because they aren't animated doesn't mean they don't care or have fire meanwhile plenty of guys yell, scream, are animated and are poor leaders.
@@JustAnFootballGuy the thing is, given how much he was hyped before the draft, his career should have turned out as the greatest QB of all-time by a significant margin. If he lived up to the hype, he would be far better than Mahomes and the Jags would have won the Super Bowl all 3 seasons so far. This guy was hyped up to be the second coming of Christ himself, and even now people fail to realize that when evaluating his potential. So maybe “bust” is the wrong term, but he is the biggest draft disappointment even when compared to actual busts like Ryan Leaf.
Leaf was a terrible QB though man… I get Lawrence hasn’t been consistent, but at the same time he doesn’t have an elite playcaller, elite receivers or offensive line. He needs better weapons and the o line has been getting worse year after year.
@@JustAnFootballGuy You’re still missing the point. Lawrence was supposed to be situation-proof. In fact, he was supposed to elevate any situation to be the greatest in the league. People point to Urban Meyer or the o-line issues as if they weren’t the same people saying since he was in high school that he’s the easiest first-ballot hall of famer. His hype was beyond this universe to the point where he had zero excuse to not be the definitive best QB in the league by now.
I think if Jacksonville would get some good (moreso consistent) O line help and a true #1 receiver, he would be much better just by virtue of having better help. Him being injured constantly from being beat down from the lack of a line made him throw out much faster, rushing poor passes instead of holding it a half second longer for a better look
Great point man. I totally agree. I think they should trade for Higgins next season, at least someone. The o line has gotten worse each year he has started too which is interesting
Yes he is. He was overrated from the start. A system qb at Clemson that made his talent look inflated. So sick of the Jags and all their terrible decisions. I can list all of them is youd like. Been there since day one. Never heard so many men infatuated with another mans hair. Can he play football though? Mediocre at best
Lets also not forget going into that draft people had Manning and RYAN LEAF YEAH NFL FLAMEOUT RYAN LEAF both as potential number one overall picks and both labelled generational talents some even saying Leaf was the better pick because of his physical gifts and higher potential upside
Man I'm glad no one really cares about Herbert because man he'd be raked threw the coals and slaughtered if Lawrence gets killed despite having a division win and a playoff win
Fair enough. I loved Herbert out of college, I didn’t have a platform then but I sure was yapping about him to my friends. I think Herbert will have his moment, just not yet… it’s rebuild time but when harbaugh puts together a good offense. Herbert will be cooking
@@JustAnFootballGuy I'm not calling him a bum or anything. But you see other QBs get absolutely cooked and scolded for doing far more than Herbert but you see literally not a bad word about him. I'm on the side of, if we give you so much credit when you win, you gotta take blame when you lose
To be honest a franchise qb that puts up good numbers and can win you a few games you shouldn’t win here and there is about all you can ask from a top draft pick. I think everybody expects new guys to come in and light up the NFL like Mahomes, Lamar, or Allen, but that’s just unrealistic. By all metrics of first round qbs he has been a success, he’s just not gonna carry the whole team and will need better talent around him. I also don’t know how much I trust Doug Peterson. If you look at his couching record it’s not amazing. The only outlier is really that Philadelphia Super Bowl. Not saying he’s not a good coach, but I don’t think he’s as proven as people believe and I could see him getting the boot if Jacksonville doesn’t make the playoffs this season or next.
Exactly. I think this year, it is more on Lawrence. Like the scheme is absolutely out dated and wasn't working before. But it is now. I can't argue with that
7:36 not to mention how hard it was to rebuild back then. It was all draft picks and trades. Almost no free agents changed teams. So if you were drafted #1 your team sucked. And sucked for years. Also kinda funny how the Colts drafted the first three of these QBs.
He’s a good QB, but hasn’t lived up to all the hype. To be fair, the Jaguars aren’t exactly the best managed franchise in the NFL. Having Urban Meyer his rookie year didn’t do him any favors either. That much said, Lawrence is still young and on the upturn of his career.
My completely amateur eyeballs tell me that Lawrence will be a very good qb that most nfl teams would be glad to sign in a heartbeat, but that he won't quite reach the "generational" level. But if he gets a ring, which he most definitely has the talent to do if his front office doesn't waste his best years, then I'll bet he won't give two shits about being "generational" or not.
Never realized what kind shitty receiving core he's had around him. Maybe Davis and Thomas will be able to stretch the field and allow Kirk to have around 100 catches. The problem is that Kirk is not dynamic enough as the #1 dude.
Everyone says it's so good but it isn't... Decent guys but not enough to be the #1 like you need. I was doubtful of them drafting Brian Thomas but he seems to be proving me wrong.
Imho as a Clemson fan, Jax hasn't utilized his strengths. At Clemson, his big frame and big arm allowed them to dominate on the ground with options and excel in the play action game. Obviously, Jax doesn't really play like that so they think their qb is just bad.
They don't have a big bodied receiver either... I didn't like Brian Thomas Jr coming out, but looks like I was wrong on him. They are calling downfield shots more this year and I think thta plays to Lawrence's strengths as he is big time throws kind of guy. But NFL defenses are clamping up right now. Playing coverages to take away those deep shots to begin with and even though BT is actually looking good, they don't have that Tee Higgins, Metcalf, maybe Mike Williams guy that Lawrence probably should have?
Damn…. The hate for this guy is crazy just because he plays for the Jacksonville Jaguars. As a jags fan it’s insane I love em and feel he’s hands down the best QB in team history.
Nah he had some injuries he was playing through and the Offensive coordinator actually started calling plays and it looked bad. Lots of drops and the o line was bad
Peyton manning didn’t have his first truly elite season until his 6th season. But I don’t remember anyone calling him a bust or disappointment from 1998-2002.

I guess some analysts saw stuff but didn't think it would be that big of deal and he would grow out of it

Hmm good points. I do agree Elway wasn't "that guy" for the first few years, thats for sure

Goes to show how Tom Brady is so awesome. Not even considered a generational quarterback even now, and he way way exceeded in level of play all these mentioned.
Absolutely. Many hate Brady, but he is the best.
Tbf, Last season, Lawrence had a WR that could’ve put a number 1 WR numbers, if the Jags actually utilised Calvin Ridley effectively.
I guess I just disagree. I don’t see Ridley as a WR 1, he is an upside WR 2, elite route running but never was “that guy” for the falcons or jags.
I guess it depends on what you think of Ridley
@@JustAnFootballGuy I agree, he’s an elite number 2, but I do think that Ridley can put 1300/1400 yards if used correctly. Those numbers are WR1 numbers, even if he’s actually not in the upper echelon of WRs in the league.
Oh of _course_ it's the fault of *your* play-callers when it's _your_ QB who suffers for their terrible play-calling. Of _course_ it is. By the way, Elway was not actually drafted by the Broncos first overall. He was ALSO drafted by the Colts, but quickly traded to Denver when Elway refused to play for them.

@@andrewshear2927 I feel if they can re work their o line and add an X receiver they could be contenders
I hope Brian Thomas Jr is what he is supposed to be in a WR 1. He looked good in the first game

Lastly: It's any giving Sunday for everyone and really can't compare prior seasons because for better or worse, variables changes all the time
That’s what makes the game so interesting, it’s constantly changing and when you expect one thing, it goes the other way.

@@JustAnFootballGuy you know it, of course if only I had the NFL Magic crystal ball, it's the spontaneous that makes it fun
Trevor is with the wrong organization for his sake trade him!

We can't get over it because his build looks the part, but he can't truly do it.

I can see that. That’s something I’ve noticed about other guys that are successful versus not.

@@MRVISTA-wz7vj I think he did fail to live up to expectations of a Generational QB. Whether or not he actually was is and was a fair question

I don’t know about the biggest bust ever… that’s a bit steep. He is a really good qb at least

I think if Jacksonville would get some good (moreso consistent) O line help and a true #1 receiver, he would be much better just by virtue of having better help. If he is a system qb, then why has there not been another qb from there to be really good?
Lets also not forget going into that draft people had Manning and RYAN LEAF YEAH NFL FLAMEOUT RYAN LEAF both as potential number one overall picks and both labelled generational talents some even saying Leaf was the better pick because of his physical gifts and higher potential upside
he ain't necessarily bad... its just that he's not shown anything "generational" nor even "superstar" on his game so far...
I feel the chargers playoff game definitely showed that. 2-3 interceptions were not his fault
Herbert and Lawrence are the most overrated qbs rn. They don't do anything that great but get all this hype 😂
How many playoff wins does Tua and Herbert have again? Oh just checking
@@billsmafia7769 I don’t feel I hated on Lawrence. Just bringing up a discussion
0:32 Thank you.
He can really thank Doug Peterson though. 😅
I have mixed feelings about Doug but He has helped him get his career back on track for development
Next golden boy: arch manning?
We shall see! I really liked what he did in the Texas Spring game but it was against his own team and not the real thing.
That’s a great point! That’s the most realistic expectation you can have. And I agree I am unsure about Peterson.
Just the billionaires policy of putting the best guys on the worst teams.
He’s a generational INT machine. Tua and Herbert are both better.
I don't think Tua is, but I agree Herbert is.
Remember Tua, mahomes and Allen all had more interceptions than him last year
When he came back versus San Diego lmao I was dying
That was an insane game... I had that in the video and broke that down but then the plays got copyrighted so i ad to cut it out :(
With the draft , it pays to be second best.
Can you make the music louder i can barely hear it
Yes I can!
He has tremendous natural talent. He'll figure it out.
I think he will too
Dude is about to have his 3rd HC and OC in 4 seasons. Tough break kid.. 275Ms up though
Exactly. I think this year, it is more on Lawrence. Like the scheme is absolutely out dated and wasn't working before.
But it is now. I can't argue with that
In the medias eyes but his bank account says different😂
Haha I love that😂
?
7:36 not to mention how hard it was to rebuild back then. It was all draft picks and trades. Almost no free agents changed teams. So if you were drafted #1 your team sucked. And sucked for years. Also kinda funny how the Colts drafted the first three of these QBs.
So, so true!!
That’s my thing with guys like Stafford, Young and Mayfield, and I’m sure others as well…
That’s a great point you made.
Very true! I think he really needs that true No.1 Wide Receiver
Calling Peyton manning a failure is crazy lol
@@FAJINNN I didn’t say he was a failure. I said In the first few years of his career, he didn’t really live up to that generational expectation.
@@JustAnFootballGuythat is a fact
I think that this is what you get when you tank for draft picks.
Mhmmm. I think the idea of doing so is sad. I don't want it to be a lottery like the NBA though...
Haha I noticed that too with the comments. People must hate Jacksonville
He probably will end up being so, but I do like my mark brunell jags led team
possibly, pressure is on him big time this year. he collapsed last year.
Nah he had some injuries he was playing through and the Offensive coordinator actually started calling plays and it looked bad. Lots of drops and the o line was bad
@@JustAnFootballGuy doesnt really reduce the pressure on him though
Peyton manning didn’t have his first truly elite season until his 6th season. But I don’t remember anyone calling him a bust or disappointment from 1998-2002.
that's because there was no social media. If there was, you would have had a bunch of guys saying he was a bust after the first regular season game.
For god sakes get him an offensive line
7:17 the music is so loud that understanding you is difficult…
Next video it will be better!
