NFL teams don’t develop quarterbacks anymore. I mean Brock Purday has been successful because he is in a quarterback friendly system with a solid offensive line and running game to protect him. Getting pounded into oblivion by a grown ass man pass rush will change the way you do things and you get blamed. Build the team then get the quarterback
Jags fans are in denial. How can you build a team when you are giving 1 player 50_million dollars and then turn around and say he needs HELP?????? For 50 million a year I would expect you to carry the team if necessary for that kind of money.
its the organization, how many quarterbacks have the jacksonville jaguars gone through in the last few years? I dont even need to search online to know the answer. If he was drafted to a competent organization, like the green bay packers he would succeed. Talent aqcuisition, development, playcalling to their strengths, all play a role in the players production.
Trevor Lawrence stats is that he’s a top 10 quarterback in the NFL his QBR is ninth best in the NFL. He’s thrown for 11 touchdowns four interceptions. Throw for over 1800 yards the team is horrible no number one receiver running back to fumbles all the time a defense I can’t stop anybody. 29 defense overall in nfl. had 1 pick and passed on Aidan Hutchinson for walker. 23 worst offensive line in the nfl. bad head coach
As a jags fan I felt like you left out a lot of contexts in this video. 1. being in year three he played half if the season injured with a knee injury that he played on and other injuries like a concussion and a shoulder injury 2. 8 dropped touchdowns in year 3 3. I really feel like you downplayed the turmoil the franchise was in during his rookie year 4. he currently has 11 passing touchdowns and 4 interceptions in year 4 but also has the worst defense in the league with most of their ratings being in the 30s 5. Press Taylor being the offensive coordinator and how horrible of a coach he is 6. Doug Peterson is tearing him down just like he did Wentz I feel like these definitely are a few spots you could've hit on but didn't... I wouldn't say T law has played amazing but has definitely played good but doesn't really have the cast to fully support him more so coaching wise than player wise. Still a great video and informative I just wanted to add a little extra being a jags fan and seeing more than the national audience
I appreciate the context you added and advice. I will make sure in the future I dive into these points deeper to add more value 👍 Thanks for the constructive feedback!
Most of these "franchise" college QB stack their stats against weak ass teams. If you can score 8 TDs against Kentucky or Vanderbilt or Duke that's nothing for those aren't even football schools

These quarterback, contracts ruin teams. I don’t get why quarterbacks don’t take 30 million and decide to spend that extra money on offensive lineman and receivers. If they win, they end up making more money in the long run, and also I think they can survive on 30 million a year. But that’s not how humans work so I hope Caleb Williams turns more like Patrick Mahomes than Man Barbie doll

Difference is that he ended up being a hall of famer whereas Lawrence will be out of the NFL in 4 years

Udgaf about lawrence. I made my comment for the gen z kids that dont know who the top dog of all time is.
@@thestarisalie I was just adding to what you said 😂
Fw the vid bro jus subscribed 🔥
Thanks Devin!
He's not doing himself any favors as far as being a winning qb or future Super Bowl winner by taking such a ridiculous contract. QBs need to stop being so selfish.
The jag front office and decision makers failed to give him players and instead gave him nothing to really work with
NFL teams don’t develop quarterbacks anymore.
Know one who's watched the NFL for 5 mins is calling Mahomes the goat ..hes only what 4 SB to go lol
He done more than Brady did his 1st 7 years other the 16-0 season then are very comparable
W video
🙏
hes having a good year so far especially with the most drops
He could still take it to another level
Trevor Lawrence stats is that he’s a top 10 quarterback in the NFL his QBR is ninth best in the NFL. He’s thrown for 11 touchdowns four interceptions. Throw for over 1800 yards the team is horrible no number one receiver running back to fumbles all the time a defense I can’t stop anybody. 29 defense overall in nfl. had 1 pick and passed on Aidan Hutchinson for walker. 23 worst offensive line in the nfl. bad head coach
As a jags fan I felt like you left out a lot of contexts in this video.
1. being in year three he played half if the season injured with a knee injury that he played on and other injuries like a concussion and a shoulder injury
2. 8 dropped touchdowns in year 3
3. I really feel like you downplayed the turmoil the franchise was in during his rookie year
4. he currently has 11 passing touchdowns and 4 interceptions in year 4 but also has the worst defense in the league with most of their ratings being in the 30s
5. Press Taylor being the offensive coordinator and how horrible of a coach he is
6. Doug Peterson is tearing him down just like he did Wentz
I feel like these definitely are a few spots you could've hit on but didn't...
College defenses are nothing like NFL defenses
Tony khan is a horrible football owner team is screwed till he steps far away from tht team
Nothing happened. Bro isn’t a good qb and was a victim of the hype surrounding him.
he changed helmets upon entering the nfl. dude ain’t been the same since.
no i in team??
Most of these "franchise" college QB stack their stats against weak ass teams. If you can score 8 TDs against Kentucky or Vanderbilt or Duke that's nothing for those aren't even football schools
I really thought this dude was going to be elite! I gave him a pass when he had urban but not anymore
He's been good for the last 3 games. Idk wjy people are freaking out bc of three bad games this year and acting like the past 2 years of great play just didn't happen
If you think he was great last year - you were not watching the games...bottom line is dude has nowhere near lived up to #1 overall status...he is not consistent...and plays in a range between mediocre to better than average/good...and is SO NOT CLUTCH
@@leevancleef358 He was very good last year before the injuries and damn near every film nerd would completely agree on that
These quarterback, contracts ruin teams.
As a Packers fan I think the Jags will b ok not sure what going on with Trevor Lawrence maybe he really is a little overrated I think it's more that players are young an need experience
Its the jags curse. You come in with talent and get bludgeoned into garbage by a toxic below college grade office.
It shocks me how many people still think he is bad and isnt on a horrid team LOL
The 2021 draft might be one of the worst in terms of QBs
He got drafted by the Jags. We cant ever have good QBs.
Mediocre at best.
I could never hate you T Law
You lie on the extreme end there 3 types of people those who you hate you no matter what those who will love you no matter what then those who be in the middle
@@moalston4203 what?
@@iamnobi._ reread my comment
Bro doesn’t have any Receivers, his best is Christian Kirk
Dude cannot throw AND catch the ball. Nor does he pass rush or cover receivers.
Both Brady (4ish) and Mahomes (2ish) can credit SB wins to their defense and the Jags was 21st worst ALL-TIME going into Week 9.
One thing i never get about these videos is who is the person behind them... I wonder what level of football is attained by them, and I don't mean it maliciously, but if the guy making this only did high school.😅😅😅😂
Blame that on the Offensive Coordinator.
Hype, over exposure. He's acceptable for an nfl qb though.
Always thought Trevor Lawrence was overrated. He seems more interested in being a hair model and a surfing 🏄♀️ dude rather than being a great QB.
A poorly run franchise is what happened.
He messed up marrying that young. Things change.
It’s the hair
It’s actually pretty simple. He went to a dogshit of an organization. The Jags are terrible.
Believe me bro he still have it
I’m rooting for the Jags, id love to see them pull it all together. Just very disappointing the last 2 years
Trevor is Crying all the way to bank, the NFL is stupid.
He got rich and stopped trying
Jags are stuck with him but yes he's a bust
He got his money and made out like a bandit
He just needs a proper haircut. His teammates just don't like being led by a tall girl. 😂
All 3 QBs you mentioned that made a resurgence lost last week "at the time of making this video"
he didnt win heisman?? hmmmm
Looking like a Bust so far 🥴😩😬
I love football but it is to much of a team sport. Like lol. You could look really bad at qb without a number of things and people Wil stil ignore it. The line has to be subpar at least. Tight end and receivers can't be to mediocre. At least get a line first and foremost. Football is to much of a team sport. 😂😂
What happened to this generntanal qb prospect. I dont know his defense gives up 30 points a game and is ranked 29 0r 30 rn in the nfl a offensive line that has maybe one good starter in Henderson and mitch is ok at center but not a long term anwser so the o line needs at least 3 new starters next year a gm that cant draft for shit past the first round so that been a issue but i just cant figure it out why does trever look like shit on a team that has a shit gm with no o line or defense damn trever must really suck
if lawrence wants to be good, he needs to cut his hair
I think his teammates are too distracted by the hair that they forget how to catch the ball!
he fumbles the ball too much
