Tua & McDaniels Require Each Other To Be Great
Tua Tagovailoa and Mike McDaniels Are The Perfect Match Together. This season we have seen the disaster it has been when Tua was not on the field. But we have also seen in the past what Tua is without McDaniels.
While we don’t cover the recent games Tua has come back in this 2024 NFL, it only further proves that this head coach and Quarterback Duo is a Perfect Match.

    This has aged like milk 😂😂😂. Right now as of 12/31/24 with the last week of the regular season coming this is the list of the top 5 QBs by QBR in the NFL according to ESPN: 1 Lamar 2 Burrow 3 Allen 4 Daniels 5 Love Of the rookies next at 17 is Maye then at 20 is Nix and coming in at 30 is Williams. Daniels is 11-5, playoff bound with the possible 6th seed, is setting records for rookies all over the place and he has 12 TDs just in the 4th quarter of the last 3 games. He willed his team to wins at least 4 games this season on late or last second throws for TDs. And he knows he still has left a ton on the table and has limited weapons to throw to. No. He has surpassed this notion he will be a bust. Period.

      @@geepers7655 QBR doesn’t mean anything. It’s one of most useless stats to exist in the football landscape. PFF Grades are better examples of how well a player has played. That said, it did age like milk. But I’m not going to change the title to make myself look better. I said what I said. @@JustAnFootballGuy I will never and have never said to change the title of this video. It is stand up to take ownership of your options. But it also stand up to say hey I got that wrong. Jayden Daniels is playing better than well. Yes his system fits what he does well. But so does Nix's system. Nix was brought along slowly. Short high percentage passes and a solid run game and a solid defense. And if you are going to site PFF grades then it is Daniels at 90.4 Nix at 80.4 and Maye at 70.4. All of these guys are rookies and I have seen them all make wild misses, bad interceptions, bad reads, and bad sacks. But which QB has elevated their team? Denver needed a serviceable QB. They have tons of pieces in place already. New England is in a major rebuild and Maye has to struggle with next to nothing in top tier players around him. But who gave Washington a chance past 6 wins? It says a lot when Kliff have time and time again put the ball in Daniels hands at the end of the game for him to go make and play. He is first in last out in practice. Is always striving to get better. ;I am looking forward to his career and maybe after year 3 you will finally say I got it wrong. Happy New Year to you!

Check his tight window through percentage that year it was very high. Tua's skillset would work in multiple offensive systems as long as there's competant OLine play. not sure there is a QB in the NFL that can succeed in the Dolphin's system because they don't trigger or process fast enough. Tua was an injured pocket QB going to a football team with a historically bad OLine and content creators and nedia made the assessment that he wasn't good enough. the only people that think Tua is a top 10 QB in the NFL are Xs and Os football junkies because they understand the game.

QBs can't do much against nickel (pass leverage) that also get pressure with 4. take note of how Dolphins have to mitigate the pass rush by putting more players in protection. having fewer passing options against cloud coverage. 7 defenders against 3 passing options? like i said, the only people that think Tua is a top 10 QB are Xs and Os junkies because they take note of what's happening on the field and the true understanding of schematic leverage.

    Watching this and the benefit of hindsight I know. This feels more like a Kliff critique, but you assume no one learns from their previous failures though he still has to shed the late season decline trend - verdict still out. Your take on arm strength and release do not match what we are seeing on the field. Pittsburgh and Philly have the ability to disrupt most offensives and explosive plays, so it is what it is - but to say he can't throw short is founded in only his college film when this was posted and precludes the development that can be achieved in the NFL. His scrambling and accuracy are regularly on display. Does he need to continue to grow and protect himself, yes, but your SureFire Bust take is agin bad. One thing I hate about mainstream and armchair analysis is that what we have seen will always be what we see and reeks of cas and low-risk analysis. Try harder bro.

    • @JustAnFootballGuy
      @JustAnFootballGuy Місяць тому

      @@HypSpector You defeat yourself with your own argument… I still stand by I said in the video and the issues are still issues right now. Just not enough to derail everything. Kliff has not proven so far to add the necessary twists to his offense to keep it going. Daniels has been in a cushy seat this whole season with admittedly some good games where he actually contributed. His short, wide throws are still not great and need more velocity. If he doesn’t “fix” it, they were will taken for pick sixes soon. He still takes too many unnecessary hits. And He turned into a pumpkin against the eagles. I ONLY have some college film, there is no way I can have anything else. My take is NOT bad or mainstream, it’s justified, I showed reasonable proof. This take isn’t coming out of my butt. I wouldn’t have had this take if there wasn’t enough evidence to say so. I am completely different from the mainstream media. I’m not saying I am right but I back up what I say. You might not like it but it’s hard to argue what I am saying given what I am showing. I do cover my butt by saying he can fix some of this. I do bring up that many QB’s don’t. And that’s why I said I felt he is a sure fire bust. I also am not changing the title to make myself look better. I said a Surefire bust and that’s what I said. And I’m being transparent. I only added draft take for context. I like to point out as well, Daniels has Not looked good against really good teams. That’s a data point. And for reference, I made 5 videos on the 5 rookie QB’s. My Caleb Williams video is not really a good or bad take, but walking the middle and playing devils advocate. My Michael Penix Jr one is not a take just explaining why the falcons did it in the first place. Drake Maye, Bo Nix and Jayden Daniels are my 3 takes and I am 2-1. When EVERYBODY was missing on Maye and Nix. I say that’s pretty good. Now I don’t think it’s fair to say I was right on Maye or Bo either, it’s not enough time. I genuinely don’t care if Daniels is great or not. No bias against him. If he is great than that means I get to make a video on him being good. Somehow, someway and probably because the NFL hasn’t figured out Kliff yet, Daniels issues hasn’t been exposed. He is being protected and from a development standpoint, that’s awesome, hopefully he can turn that franchise around.
