@@logicallgamingThey definitely deserve credit but this video is mainly about single season turnarounds. The Cowboys took a few years to gradually get better. 1-15 in 1989 to 7-9 in 1990 (which was impressive and deserved an honorable mention, I remember how dismal they were in 89) to 11-5 in 1991 and getting to the divisional round of the playoffs, to finally winning it all in 1992.
The two white lobsters comparison also works if you consider you have the '99 Rams, and than the '01 Patriots, two years separated from each other and yet most of the players from the '99 Rams team were on their 2001 team that led the team back to the playoffs in a close fight with the Patriots
I was thinking about Kurt Warner doing it again with the 2008 Cardinals. Sure the precedent was there with him, but everyone on that team was unproven, and it had been a few years since Kurt had played meaningful football himself; he was supposed to be on that team just to coach Matt Leinart.

sounds a lot like Sam Darnold right now. Was labeled a bust, then was signed to the Vikings on a 1 year 10 million dollar deal, and he's currently leading the league in TD passes. It certainly helps when you have the best receiver in football, a head coach who is an offensive genius and a defensive coordinator that is absolutely killing offenses right now.

Kurt Warner is one of the coolest stories and coolest guys, and coolest QBs in NFL history. Dont forget he came back to the SB in 09 with those terrible Cardinals no less
19:37 yup going from 5-11 to start 0-2 then Tom comes in and they go 11-3 is a big turnaround especially beating the 21 point favorite juggernaut Rams aka Greatest Show on Turf and in Tom’s second year starting he lead the league in passing Touchdowns with 28 iirc
As much as it always pains me to hear anything about the 2001 Patriots, this video’s past team just made me smile. I was in 6th grade when the Rams emerged and won that Super Bowl and that’s when I became a Rams fan.
The Panthers won 6 more games in 2002 than we did in 2001. 1-15 to 7-9 Julius peppers Rookie season! Made the superbowl the following year with Jake Delhomme. Pretty amazing 2 year turn around.
Thanks for giving The Greatest Show on Turf some love. It was like a dream that year. We were all going crazy. It was the best football experience of my entire life.
In the early 2000s, before the Rams moved LA and they were still in St. Louis, they had training camp in Macomb, Illinois at the Western Illinois University campus. My dad and I were huge bare fans, but since the Rams were there, we said why not so we went. As a four year-old my dad told me to go and get a picture with this man sitting over here. Little did I know, it was Kurt Warner. Very fortunate and I still have a picture of him and myself to this day. Hands-down, my favorite player.

19:54 yeah that Tuck rule game is hella messed up. The raiders should have won that game that was totally a fumble. But besides that, one thing I wish you would have mentioned that I think is a pretty big deal is that Tom Brady was injured and couldn't play in the AFC championship against the Steelers so Drew bledsoe had to take over again and he actually stepped up and won them that AFC championship before Tom Brady came back and won the super bowl. That is epic
Ain’t no way you forgot to put the 2015 and 2016 Dallas Cowboys on here. In 2015 went 4-12 then in 2016 a rookie Dak and Zeke lead them to a 13-3 record
Kurt Warner in 1999 is the reason I started paying attention to football again after not watching it much in the 90s. That was such a wild, unexpected season that it was impossible to ignore. And like everyone else, when Vermeil said they were going to rally around Warner, I was thinking here comes 4-12 again. Still the greatest out of nowhere story in NFL history. And then Warner took the Cardinals to the super bowl and damn near got them a victory! My other thought watching this is that recently, you don't want to tank for the #1 pick. Get that #2 instead. The last three #2 picks are Aiden Hutchinson, CJ Stroud and Jayden Daniels. All three are better than the #1 picks. Lovie Smith did Houston such a favor and needs a statue.
14:51 yup especially with the players Tom brought in or recruited that were crucial to the success and halfway through changing the offense to have motion crossing routes short passes and to use the RB and TE more in the passing game too and to block
San Diego didn't technically draft Phillip Rivers, they drafted Eli Manning and the Giants drafted Rivers and Eli refused to play for San Diego so the two team swapped picked. Crazy to think about how much of a ripple effect that caused.
Superbowl 34 was the first football game i ever watched. My sister had made a bet with some classmates about the game. Despite not knowing anything about it (I was 8) I wanted to do the thing my big sister was doing. So I watched it with her and cheered for the Rams, because thats the team she was rooting for. The Rams became my favorite team (ignore that it was the only team i knew aside from the titans) until i realized Michigan had a team, then it was lions all the way. Speaking of, the Wolverine/Spartan rivalry is a fierce one in my state and EVERYONE just HAD to know which one you liked. I chose the Wolverines for a simple reason, their uniforms looked like the Rams! its funny to think how my love of the sport spawned from such a tiny thing.
What’s wild about the 1999 Rams too, is that their opponent the Titans wouldn’t have even faced them had it not been for the one-of-a-kind Music City Miracle. That whole lead up and Super Bowl with the one yard short was out of a movie hahaha.
Kurt Warner had perineal players that ended up being Hall of Famers and perineal all pro, and pro bowlers especially during that part of their careers. LT Orlando Pace, WRs Isaac Bruce and Tory Holt and RB Marshall Faulk.
Imo I feel that while maybe the not most unexpected or too much better than at first believed, I feel that the history behind the lions and how they started the season with a W over the reigning champions and broke their curse, warrants a higher ranking imo. I know it’s a one year not a two year turnaround, but in 2021 it was a hard year and everyone thought Geoff was a placeholder and yet by the end of the season they did great and Jared Geoff became a hero for Detroit and critical part of the team.
Sometimes Don loses his temper on people a little. But holy shit did he have the patience of Job here while he spelled out his name multiple times in the beginning lol “No I’m not doing that again, give him your email” 😂 🤣 🤣 That beginning was painful to listen through at first but per usual Don is the man!
The crazy thing is Warner almost did it twice. Going to Arizona after what should have been a career ending injury where he was expected to simply buy time to draft a decent quarterback. Ended up creating a top 3 offense and a Super Bowl appearance.
I was at the game that Carson Wentz’s ACL tore apart. I remember being in 5th grade just thinking: “can our season be saved?” A lot of people wrote off the Eagles online, and that SB win felt like heaven on earth
It's funny you used the Lobster metaphor to introduce the 99 St. Louis Rams. 20 years after the Greatest Show on Turf shocked the world, the St. Louis Blues won the Stanley Cup, beating Boston in 7. As a congratulatory gift, a lobster bar from Massachusetts donated a Blue Lobster to the still-under-construction St. Louis Aquarium. The aquarium held a naming contest, and the winning name was "Lord Stanley".
I think 2008 Falcons deserve a mention. They went from 4-12 to 11-5 in the wake of Vick getting locked up and Petrino vanishing. All with a new head coach and rookie QB
probably shouldve had the 15-16 cowboys turnaround in here somewhere. their odds after the 2015 season were probably pretty good since romo was supposed to come back, but he didnt and they went into the season with a rookie dak and low expectations. a 4-12 to 13-3 turnaround with a 4th round rookie qb at the helm shouldve made an appearance imo
Drew Brees was literally a failed physical away from (in all likelihood) never linking up with Sean Payton and eventually becoming a super bowl winning, historically great, future 1st ballot hall of fame QB.
2016 Dallas should be on here. Previous season went 4-12, lost their franchise QB in the pre season, started a rookie 4th round pick all season and went 13-3 and first seed.
In 2022 the Lions started the season 1-6. They finished the year 9-8, then went 12-5 the next year and made the championship. They went from one of the worst teams in the league to a contender in half a season.
I'd also improve Brock Purdy's rookie year. Imagine being some schmuck who ended up being literally the last draft pick, BOTH guys ahead of you got injured, and your first game as a starter is against TOM. BRADY. And you ball out, win, the whole stadium is chanting your name, and you don't lose another game as a starter until the NFC Championship game. Regardless of the questions about how good Purdy is compared to the elite squad around him, you gotta admit that's one hell of a rarity.
As a Titans fan, thank you for at least not showing the Tackle. I've seen so many replays of that moment and it hurts as much as it did to see it live at 7 y/o 😢
I can't believe this channel has been a thing for years and the script never gets better I swear dog your edits are great but the script sounds like a high school sophomore writes them
Great video. But you should have the 2021 Bengals up top with the Rams or in the second tier, I mean going from bottom of the league two to three straight years to super bowl contenders the next is just something you never see; 2019(2-14), 2020(4-11-1), 2021(10-7 and super bowl appearance). Yes, they were briefly mentioned but should have been more extensively talked about.
I'm no fisher, but im fairly certain that the most common place to find a white lobster is right next to where you previously found one... Genetics and stuff..
It's probably moreso a genetic abnormality/deformity than an inherited genetic trait. Thus the odds would depend more on the amount of lobsters in the area. Apparently their diet can make them look white until they molt, too tho. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Ok but what about the 2023 2022 2021 seasons where the Atlanta Falcons went 7-10 and turned it into 7-10 in which the next year it improved to 7-10

That eagles sb run was special. Like you said straight out of a movie. And it was phillys first ever sb win.
I think 2008 Falcons deserve a mention. They went from 4-12 to 11-5 in the wake of Vick getting locked up and Petrino vanishing. All with a new head coach and rookie QB
I definitely didn’t know that, i used to play madden with “the greatest show on turf” 2000-2001 lol OP!
probably shouldve had the 15-16 cowboys turnaround in here somewhere. their odds after the 2015 season were probably pretty good since romo was supposed to come back, but he didnt and they went into the season with a rookie dak and low expectations. a 4-12 to 13-3 turnaround with a 4th round rookie qb at the helm shouldve made an appearance imo
Kurt Warner will always be my favorite player... I was a kid living near st. louis when we came out of nowhere.
To anyone who sees this, you are loved. People care about you, people need you, and people love you. Never forget that❤️
lol ok bro
Thanks big dawg
Thank you I almost forgot
This is a football video dawg
guys will see this and be like, hell yeah
Drew Brees was literally a failed physical away from (in all likelihood) never linking up with Sean Payton and eventually becoming a super bowl winning, historically great, future 1st ballot hall of fame QB.
KTO is the real MVP
The 2006 New Orleans Saints drafted Heisman trophy winner Reggie Bush
Great video !
I didn’t realize how much KTO sounded like the American dude from Mind Pulp until just now lol
2021-22 Bengals is still the most surprising in the last 20 years.
2016 Dallas should be on here. Previous season went 4-12, lost their franchise QB in the pre season, started a rookie 4th round pick all season and went 13-3 and first seed.
Haven't watched the video yet, but if the '99 Colts aren't in there then something is wrong. Literally flipped their record to 13-3 from 3-13 in '98
Never forget when the cowboys went 8-8 for 3 strait seasons, 2011-2013.
Now, we need a video of NFL Teams good one year and very bad the next.
Do a video on the crash & burn one year wonder
Doesn’t feel like a KTO video with out the seat geek ad
“But we made up for it by not tackling” 😂😂😂😂 down bad
Vikings bout to have one
As a Titans fan, thank you for at least not showing the Tackle. I've seen so many replays of that moment and it hurts as much as it did to see it live at 7 y/o 😢
Came for Football.
Stayed for the lobster statistics. Thanks, KTO
I can't believe this channel has been a thing for years and the script never gets better I swear dog your edits are great but the script sounds like a high school sophomore writes them
Kurt Warner, the Hy-Vee legend.
Never knew that Tree played for the steelers until I saw the thumbnail!
Good video!
