I appreciate you posting this review. I'm a bigger guy, and I've only been able to find 'average' size guys reviewing the stability. Great to see an honest review from someone closer to my size. Very helpful, thank you!
Man I'm 5'10" and 275 pounds and you've answered my questions. I've been having a hard time finding my first kayak just because there ain't a lot meant for people our size. Thanks so much!
Thanks! I'm a big guy too. 6'3" 280. I currently fish out of an Ocean Kayak Big Game Prowler but like the stability and weight ratings of the Nucanoe Unlimited. And, you answered my question on paddling. I plan to put the pedal drive in when I pull the trigger.
Great video, very informative. I'm looking to get one next year after I move. I plan to add an Xi3 as primary power source. I'm a 100% disabled vet so I'm not looking to paddle unless necessary
So how does the pursuit compare to this and the pa? I have an unlimited but looking for something a touch faster without sacrificing to much stability. I currently can stand while running my xi3 and fish no problem out of my unlimited. Any help would be appreciated.
Sorry for not responding sooner. The pursuit is stable, but in a different way. It’s much faster and a paddle first type of design. While you can stand pretty easily in the pursuit to fish, the unlimited would still be my choice over it stability wise. The PA I am using now is similar stability wise to the unlimited, but I still think the unlimited has an edge on it in that category. The only real reason I am in the PA is the pedals.
I'm 230lbs. And I don't have as good as balance as you do. I have a 2016 hobie outback and I can't stand on it. My first kayak was an old town predator 13 and couldn't stand on that kayak eather.😂😔
I'm 6'6" 350lbs. I've been looking for something that would work for me to duck hunt out of. What are your thoughts? Also, I've never owned a kayak before so I'm just trying to see if there is something out there for me.
I think the unlimited will suit you well. Super stable. Comfortable for a big guy and had the ability to outfit a duck blind! There are plenty of kayaks on the market for the big guy now, which is great but the Unlimited, Hobie PA 12/14, old town autopilot, Jackson Knarr would be where I would feel the most comfortable.

Like the video. I am 6'1" 285 lbs and after watching your review I decided to try the Unlimited.

Hell yes! Glad it helped!

Enjoy your videos keep it up! New to kayak fishing and have learned so much from your vid’s! I love my unlimited
Thanks! These comments keep me going! Appreciate it!

Worth upgrading my frontier for this? Or similar enough to just wait till the frontier is at the end of its time.
Yes! It’s an upgrade! And I loved my frontier!
Cool I think I’m gonna pick one up next season.

This thing looks awesome! I’ve been wanting to upgrade for a while. I have a trophy beach currently. What part of pa are you from?
South eastern Pa! This would be one hell of an upgrade from the trophy beach
@@YakFishChris yes it would be. The only downfall is I don’t have any dealers close
Where are you located?
@@YakFishChris western PA about 45 minutes north of Pittsburgh
Hmm closest would probably be performance kayak. But we may have some team members close by who possibly let you demo the kayak!
