I raised my seat 1.25” and this allows clearance for multiple aftermarket under seat storage systems if that’s your thing. Initially, I found the cost of the additional components of foot steering and Boonedox wheels (~$800) an annoyance, but they immediately proved their value, especially SINGLE foot steering. It’s simple, and easy. Think a U10 for smaller bodies of water is up next. Thanks for the great review!
Hey you guys wonderful install and rigging and look on the lake they are both two beautiful battle ready vessels! Can we see how these two kayaks fish down a river system in the future! Thank you guys for a great video tight lines take care and God bless!
Don't sweat the battery not fitting vertically in the Unlimited pod, you can mount lithiums on their side no problem! You guys are surely diverting my attention away from Bonafide, Native, and Old Town offerings because of all the recent NuCanoe love. They were never on my radar, so thanks for that!
Why not put the trolling motor battery in the pod also? Is it a weight distribution issue? That way the pod removal will cover FF, and the two batteries.
@@aaanglers Thanks makes sense about the weight. Also can you use the boonedox landing gear on U10? When I had an Old Town 106 MK I hated trying to get a cart under it.
How do you run the cables through the boat from the front to the back I’m not very handy but have to do it to my kayak and have no idea how I’m going to find the cable after I run it through my yak. I know you ran the wire through but once it hits the back how do you find it 🫡 great video mate
I electrical tape an allen wrench to the cable, feed it back with a stiff wire or rod as far as I can, then use a cheap extendable magnet to reach it from the rear hatch
What’s your opinion on using the u10 as a tandem occasionally? I want to take my girl out just to cruise around the creeks/lakes. We weigh about 300 lb together.
What else should we do with these kayaks?

Sweet! What risers did you use?
@@aaanglers I used aluminum bushings and doubled up washers so as not to damage the track. A bit rudimentary, but it works.

We have ariver video going up Friday!
The nucanoe Unlimited pod also fits the nucanoe flint.

They weren’t on our radar either! They just grew on us over the years!
Add a Turret mounted Belt Fed Accessory to repel Borders… Hey Lures are expensive.
😂
I was just thinking about this with one of their inflatables 😀
I want to see you guys try to tandem fish out of the Unlimited. You have 2 seats now. Take the seat off the U10 and throw it in the big boy.
That was the plan until Paul tore his bicep… next year we will
I need to get some of those trackpacks and ditch the big blackpack
Totally worth it!
Looks like some great builds guys
Thanks!
Been researching a new yak for spring. Decided on the unlimited. Will the one foot steering fit on the unlimited? Thanks for sharing.
Yessir! Comes with a longer steering cable. Just installed mine with the nk300

It doesn’t fit unfortunately. I could try to get a smaller lithium and do that. Also don’t want too much weight in the front

@drtoddsullivan getting the yak attack bunkster under is pretty easy. Or Boonedox track mount

For little kids maybe. It would be a tight fit for 2 seats vs the unlimited
Can you use the pedal while standing? Ive seen some guy use the other foot control with extensions that go up to the knees, but it looked clunky
You could, but I wouldn’t recommend it. A bow mount with remote is better for standing and moving
@@aaanglers yeah just wish someone came out with a kayak sized foot pedal or something. Casting then fumbling with your remote isn’t ideal
Is that color still an option? I can't fight this color on their website.
Might’ve been limited yes
I would ditch the Native Titan X and buy two Nucanoes for the same price.
Might be the plan!
I find the wildy thru hull is much better then yakattack.
Wildy and Hobie are really similar. I used the Hobie style for 3 years, and I definitely prefer the yakattack. But to each their own for sure!
