    How does drinking more water lower blood pressure?
    My doctor prescribed diuretics to reduce the water in my system to lower my blood pressure.
    These seem contradictory.

      Water helps to dilute salt and sugar in the blood, making it thinner so it can flow more easily around our organs. It also helps to break down the foods we eat. I am not a doctor. This is just my opinion
