Jason was right. Only Metallica could write song about an ancient, psychic, mythical sea monster and make it almost as terrifying as an ancient, psychotic, mythical sea monster.
It is slow, but it is heavy. Speed is not necessarily linked to heaviness, it's linked to aggressiveness. When the song is slower, we can feel its heaviness better, it's almost as if we could touch it.
Grungy, dark, slow and nasty IS heavy tho, and all James growls and grunts add to it perfectly! This song is about Lovecraftian horrors, most likely Cthulu I think haha
