    Thanks for the info.. glad you made the video, so I didn't ask this question in a forum and watch it blow up.

    Reason no rub is you have a TRD Pro and yes they trim the bumper and push the fender liner forward. Technically anyone without a Pro can do the same. There are templates for where to cut.

    E is an extremely heavy duty tire for a 4runner, good and bad. Beautiful vehicle

      Do you notice significant mileage drop off with the Ridge Grapplers? They seem heavier than the KO2s

    I just got a 2024 ORP. I also have a BTK amputation of my right foot. I drive with my left foot same as I have seen you do. The 4Runner is a tight fit for my prosthetic. I’m tall so it’s clumsy to say the least.
    I only have about 4500 miles on my truck. The KO2s are my next tire I believe. Thanks for your advice. I’m just over one year with the amputation. It’s tough at times.

    Great information and I am looking to go BFG KO3s in C rating on a 2022 4Runner TRD Pro and yes for gravel I put on Rocksliders from GreenLand made of aluminum as to avoid rusting. So far they have been awesome last 2 years. Did they ever rub on harder trails ?

    how rough do the E’s ride? looking at toyo at3’s in this size which weigh only 50 pounds but mine is a daily driver. like you said most 275s only come in e rating. just curious if the ride is really that much rougher

    hello, would you be able to be a bit more specific about how much difference it made in your ride comfort, mpg and performance after tire change?

    • @monoped_adventures
      @monoped_adventures  Місяць тому +1

      @taifmunsur For me, ride comfort has remained the same for both on and off road.
      I do notice a slight power loss in acceleration, but it is minimal.
      I've had these tires on for almost 2 years now, and the milage difference is about 1 liter per 100km more than before.

    • @taifmunsur
      @taifmunsur Місяць тому

      @@monoped_adventures wow I am almost surprised given than these are E rated and much heaver than the stock ones. Did you ever wish you would go back? I have a 1.75 inch lift trying to figure if I really want to get to 275 instead of 265 BFG tires.

    • @monoped_adventures
      @monoped_adventures  Місяць тому +1

      @taifmunsur it's up to you. A 265 size tire is fine for this vehicle. For me, I've done a lot of off reading so far with these, and I'll be sticking to 275s.

  • @irvchan
    @irvchan 8 місяців тому

    How do you find the ride with the LT tires compared to stock (city roads, highway, offroad)? Im having the same debate from 265/70/17 SL tires vs 275/70/17 LT (E rated) tires. And its about 10-12 lbs more weight per tire.

    • @monoped_adventures
      @monoped_adventures  8 місяців тому

      They do ride rougher on the highway, and there is some power loss with the wieght, but they are holding up really well for all the abuse I've put them through off road, especially in the sharp, broken rocks on many higher trails around here.

    • @monoped_adventures
      @monoped_adventures  7 місяців тому +1

      No problems so far. They are a much heavier tire than stock, so power and milage will be affected. You might get slight rubbing on thr SR5 because they sit a little bit lower, but it can easily be fixed. Good luck!

    Great vid. Question. 2022 TRD OFF Road here. Upgrading to an AT tire 265 17 70, maybe the K02 or the AT Boss by Thompson. Without a suspension lift or leveling what are the possibilities that I get some rub? I've heard various outcomes. Thank you in advance.

    • @monoped_adventures
      @monoped_adventures  Рік тому +1

      265s will match the original size. If your wheel offset (if you're getting aftermarket rims) stays roughly the same, you'll be good to go.
