the vids have been awesome so far! my one recommendation is that maybe instead of saying the same intro about the video being for beginner's, and needing to know Tekken notation, you could just have text onscreen for the first few seconds that fades out. That way you could get right into the guide
Yet another amazing beginners guide, Boogard. Great job, man. Keep it up. Also, I completely agree with you about devil Jin. He’s super sick in this game, and he also just clicked for me the first time I played him. I mean, the guy has lasers, can summon chains from out of nowhere, can use a crazy energy sword in his super, and to top it all off, he has wings and claws. I mean seriously, what’s not to like here? It also doesn’t hurt that he’s so fun to use. His combos are all sick, and do ridiculous amounts of damage. Also, I really enjoy using the attack where he hits the opponent with a chain from like half screen and flies right in to morning crow. This move is really helpful for me, since I am blind and terrible at wif punishing for the most part unless I really know The person I’m going up against’s tendencies. But since that move has so much range, it helps me out a ton. Anyways, nice job with the guide again, and keep up the great work. One last thing, if you’re looking for things to improve on while making the character guides, then may I suggest talking a little bit more about some combo routes with the characters that you’re talking about? You don’t have to go super in-depth and explain how to combo off of every single launcher or anything like that, but just saying something like “ this attack is a great launcher,” or this attack is a good combo filler or combo ender” might be helpful for people like me who can’t see the sample combos or even just people who might want to just play a character in practice mode with your guide on in the background to walk them through the basics, since they won’t have to keep pausing the video and checking the sample combos to see what combo routes are optimal. This is a pretty minor thing, and it’s not a big deal, but it’s just something I thought I would mention. Thanks again for all of your help with these characters, and I’m looking forward to see who you make a guide on next.
Awesome guide! It's exactly what I was looking for. I don't need the super optimal max damage combos for characters. I just need to know which moves are good poke and generally safe on block for example. One recommendation to improve these guides is to display the command (including the input icons) on-screen. This helps especially with how fast you actually go through each move. I know the command history to the left basically serves that purpose but it just improves clarity imo. Looking forward to more and potentially advanced guide videos later down the line!

Apparently hell sweep doesn't require execution. I beg to differ 🤣I really struggle with the initial input for some reason and it annoys me so much lol.
Yeah it's just timing you have to press 2 T the exact same frame you hit down forward otherwise you get the normal -10 version. It takes alot of practice and is very hard for newcomers. If you search ewgf guide on youtube there's alot of stuff that can help you

Devil Jin got so many cool new things in T8. I was already learning him at the end of T7 but this made the decision to stick with him even easier.

How do you do the little downward laser (not the airborne laser the other one where hes still standing on the ground
If you're talking about the move I think you are then it's down 1+2 but it only works while your opponent is on the ground
