There really hasn't been a debate on Warden of Saphery and magic armor for two months now, since the Forces of Fantasy eratta & FAQ. As a high elf player myself I wish it were not so, but it is very explicit: Q: Can a Wizard with the Warden of Saphery Elven Honour purchase magic armour? A: No.
@@Athiuen Yeah, clearly written but... really? Because Ithilmar Armor literally says the wizard can wear armor, but the wizard can't buy armor under it's profile and isn't eligible to wear magic armor. So the last part of the rule for Ithilmar Armor points to nothing because there is no armor for the wizard to wear currently.
at Minute 45 for Seaguard Movement, there is some talk about moving backwards 2.5in but using drilled for the seaguard to redress the ranks before moving ... thats not how it works. Naval Discipline is not Drilled, and Redressing eats half your movement - thus the move backwards would have been permissible only at 1.25in :-)
A couple things - travel between pathways should have gone off, the DP was in combat and wouldn’t have been able to dispel Sea guard do not have drilled Chaos spawn have heavy armor Dragon armor ward save is any wounds suffered
Yes, all models that can see can shoot at a large target. They see from the model in the fighting rank in front of them but have to be in range of course. Those few dice make no big difference, but correct :)
RAW the only 2 things that let more than the front rank shoot are the Volley Fire rule and being on a hill, the rules say that the rear ranks use the front rank model in their file for LoS already, so being a large target actually changes nothing, they can already see, they just aren't allowed to shoot. Not sure if this is RAI but its how it is written until there is an FAQ to say otherwise.
@@ed8930 The reasoning I have: the Large Target rule. It states that a model can draw los to a LT. Usually shooters can't shoot because they can't draw los from behind the front rank.
A deamon prince is borne for fight. Not be used as a normal mage fly and cast 😂 it was also my mistake in the past. Too much points for cast. I suggest to cast the first round and the go in the battle as soon as possible 😊 Mambo punished you 😂
No it doesnt. is says, if you have an ability that re-rolls failed casting, you cant reroll a miscast. If you have an ability that rerolls any cast, you can reroll a miscast.
@@chrisgoodrich8987 This was wrong. High Elves can't reroll any cast. Only failed casts. They can't reroll miscasts. Don't know what that means for your subscription!
@@Sealdog it's still not though. GW had the chance to really update the style of rules from Rank and Flank, but they basically just updated the clunky rules from WFB 8th and called it a day. Hell even the 9th Age rules are clearer. KoW did update the rules and the game flows and plays so much better because of it.
@@chrisrice7844 well I’ve never play KoW but I can’t imagine a more satisfying ruleset than TOW. 8th edition was a huge step back but OW not only reclaims that big miss but in my opinion makes a really satisfying game to play, where every turn has impactful moments, combats go on longer, and you usually don’t see how the battle is going to play out till the last turn or two. I like the crunchy rules too.

You cannot preform more than 1 maneuver per turn so you would either have to readress ranks or move backwards, technically
Drilled gets around that

The 6inches wheel followed by the 90 degrees pivot by the spawns at 1h37' is so unexpected, brilliant

The swordmaster didn't wound the giant. He broke his skull headbutting this poor guy in the next dimension 😂
Where does it say about high elves noble getting a re roll of shooting?

What is that high elf noble model? I want one now
Again first one😎. I will now watch it, lets see how these elves are doing! I love how Luca is building a little lore and story around every match!

The vibes are always so good in these videos ❤
Hi guys, this was a very fun Battle report.
Please can you tell me where you got the movement trays you used?
Shouldn't you buy HE general a chracian hunter honour if you take lion chariot??
Didn't that demon prince have an assailment spell?
You forgot large target on all your giant shots. 😅
Maybe have a ? for stupidity marker and ! for frenzy.

Still enjoy the game though
Models that cause terror are immune to terror.
But units joined by a model who causes terror do not gain that immunity.

Good luck finding a game.

But like, why? Because the infantry didn’t hold? It was a great game and OW rules are so good
