Arnzipal's Black Horror is just dangerous terrain for the Witch Elves. It's enemy unit only for the Strength test effect.

The rules for the Doomfire Warlocks are that they get +2 to cast if they are a unit strength of 10 or higher. Being cavalry, they are unit strength 2 each, so 5 + a master gets +2 to cast...

A big block of Slayers. Nice. I think they are a bit overpriced right now, or missing something like Frenzy or Furious Charge. But they are still cool.
I've been waiting for so long for slayers to be reasonably priced... they're always fun regardless though
Having faced Slayers a lot myself I must say they're really good at blunting elite fighting units. I often beat them but it's always a costly fight!
It would probably be too good but it feels like Slayers should be able to skirmish though
I didn't think bombing run could target characters who are within 3" of a friendly unit? Maybe if you end your move closer to them?
They dont have target restrictions.

as a dark elf player this has me worried. have not seen a single game where druchii has won on the net so far
Thats not true at all, im almost certain iv never lost with the Dark elves.

@@MountainMiniatures well it was true up to that point from my pov. I had not seen a dark elf win up to that point from the battle reports that i have personally witnessed. Was very happy to see a druchii win vs 4k of demons.
You should play them more if this is the same guy who won the game. Learned a lot. Love your content man. I just bought like 5k of druchii and cant wait
I still don't buy the ruling that the center of a unit can't change when you use Drilled.

@@MountainMiniatures The way you guys seem to have been playing Drilled is to require the command units to remain in the center of the unit after Drilling. If this were the case, then I think serious consideration has to be given to leaving all the command at home to maintain total flexibility.
Consider what would happen if you were running in a long column of 2x7, with full command. Per the rules regarding 'Not Enough Room' for command models, 1 of the command models would have to travel in the second rank. This highlights an issue when you try to drill up to 7x2.
Would you still have this musician model hanging out in the second rank, or would you not be able to drill / redress the ranks because the command wouldn't be able to get into the proper position, or would you just move the musician and not think about it too much? None of the three options seem entirely satisfactory.
@@KyleMiddleton7 the centre of the unit, not changing doesn’t have anything to do with the command. (even though they are required to be in the centre of the unit)
The centre of the unit May be a specific model, but more specifically a point. Centre doesn’t move then move your command models to the centre, if for some weird reason, they weren’t already there
Gyrocopter cannot target the assassin: "A Lone character cannot be targeted by enemy shooting or by enemy spells whilst it is
within 3" of a friendly unit (that is not itself fleeing) that contains five or more models of
the same troop type as the character"
The rule of dive bomb is clear: "may perform a 'Dive Bomb' attack against a single enemy unit" so it choose a target to do so.
But if you prefer whait errata number 1224452244 😅 it's ok 😂 step by step they will correct every single minimal letter of the rulebook.
As always I suggest to everybody body to play as gentleman and avoid these technical interpretations.
A dwarf, on a gyrocopter, in a battle, who throws a bomb on a master assassin super skilled, super agile. It's a funny show 😂

Yeah no. It’s not a shooting attack or a spell.
Also you left out the part where it says …unless closest target.
And even if it did count as a shooting attack, the assassin would be the closest target the moment he flew over him.

At min 51:12 the assassin was not the closest model of the gyrocopter. Maybe I didn't explain well, sorry.
Anyway for avoid any problem the only way for protect a character, is inside a unit if the gyrocopter are used like this.
But are you agreed with me that if you use a gyrocopter on this way, it is more efficient then a waystalker for kill characters around the table?
It is the second time that Steve use this technique (the first was vs a goblin shaman if I remember well).

Playing this at x2 speed and can still follow everything that happens. I wish they would do a shorter format of these batreps where all the non-game chatter was cut out. Playing that on x2 speed would probably take a batrep down to about 15 minutes for those of us with less free time.
There are many channels that produce that kind of battle report already out there.
@@MountainMiniatures Not exactly. There are alot of short format batreps out there, but they either skip most of the dice rolls or they consist of still frames with a voice over. What I'm asking for here is a video of the full game, but only the game, just for efficiency. Not that I don't enjoy Lucas philosophical rambling about what a gyrochopter actually is, but it would be nice to have an option to watch during a standard bathroom break. I don't mean you should make short format instead of long format, but add a bitesized version we can watch without the boss getting suspicious.
@@Anecron1 Each batrep already cost me about $400 to produce, and that with Miniwargaming allowing me to use the space for free.
Iv looking into editing things down and it will increase my cost my about 50%
I cant do it at this time.
