These type of projects are always fun. Where I live in NY it's total winter wonderland, so it's a perfect time to work on projects. I'm building a 72v battery while I'm watching your video. I look forward to part 3.

@@cyb3rdecker thanks bro! You could definitely place the controller where I originally had if you’re running a smaller FarDriver. This one’s a bit bigger and wouldn’t fit properly.
Is this the bike you are currently tuning? I have the same basic motor as that one but my wheel is for a 14” tire and yours looks like it’s for a 12” tire. These motors have 20 pole pairs so make sure that’s correct so the rpm reads correctly. 800 rpm at 72v seems was too slow. My motor at 72v would be about 1400 rpm without field weakening. If you make a screen recording of the fardriver app, go to pro settings, scroll top to bottom, then go to Graph page and make some 0 to top speed runs, and post it, I can take a look.
@@imho7250 it’s actually not for this motor. I built a 72v super73 before this one. Before when I would be in the 60’smph range, there would be this strange “stall” like feeling. Yesterday, I lowered weak response from 5 to 6 and that stall went away. I’m just trying to figure out what caused that stall or momentarily jerk/buck.
@ is it on your door dash bike? Im surprised changing weak response had any effect because I’ve played with it some and never found any significant difference. A screen recording of the graph page might show whats happening. If it happens every time at around the same speed then it’s probably something not tuned right. But if its occasional it could be a loose connection somewhere.
@ no not the DoorDash one. In my playlists, you’ll see a build series on a red bike. It’s a super73 with an Nb power 5kw motor. It was doing that stall every time in the 60’s. I do remember playing with different ratios as well and some ratios would make it better and others worse. I do have a graph, but only when weak response was set to 7 and 100% on all ratios. I was trying to find rated speed with that graph. Would that be helpful at all?
Bro, I'm moving to Miami from Boston because it's too cold winter here. I plan to deliver food on my e-bike. Can at least I make 100 dollars a day if I work from 11h am until 10pm? What works better in Miami, Doordash or Uber eats? And what's the best area to receive those orders? Thank you
I'm super glad I could help with the build. Thanks for the shout out!!! 😊

@@randallgaus502 now battery building is an awesome skill to have! What are you putting it in?
@@Raspyrides It's going in a Dualtron Storm. Just a goofy project. I took the Storm in on trade not working. The battery is just one of it's problems.
look into getting a flap disc it will make easy to remove the weld
That motor looks like a beast
@@artartpal I’m very impressed with it. The efficiency of it is 👌
absolutely fantastic.............
This is a WILD build 😮💨

Get some harbor freight hose clamps for anything that needs to be extra sturdy
Zip ties and tape!
Great built bro, can you re-root your Fardriver on the handlebar or bellow it? Maybe hidden inside the plastic?

It helps to put a little bit of air in the tube to help it from being pinched while installing
@@jaybones614 definitely! I’m learning as I go lol
I wanna see a ride with this on the whole San Gabriel River trail lol
@@michytp140 after doing some testing…I can cofirm that this motor is a beast with the right FarDriver tune
Freaking Awesome
when my moms took us to Hawaii in the 80's they had like scooters it was $5 or $15 i can't remember. all day!
