Brah this build is clean. I'm sad the SD card cut the video, I wanted to see how you mounted everything underneath. I just got a pocket mod and two of my coworkers got one after seeing mine. Can't wait to start modding. Mahalos for the videos. Chee 🤙🏽
Its always funny do see a size comparison to these things, So tiny! That build looks awesome, The only part I dont really like is the battery placement. But it is convenient I guess.
Yea i gotta get a custom built battery and didnt want to cut the panels up to fit the battery i used, but i wanted to ride it already so i guess its good enough for now lol
@@JonnyDuzzitThe convenient part about using a hub is all that extra space in the shell for the battery. I noticed you reattached some of the old battery tray on the motor plate, I assumed thats why, and with you mounting the controller where you did all but confirmed that might be your future plan. One of my pocket mods has a hub, but the batteries I have in in suck, and I got a Bellezza on marketplace, Much more comfortable on long rides, I somehow managed to shove a 13s8p I cobbled together from a wholesaler site, Less than half an inch clearance from the tire, stock motor. I think it was two 11.3ah packs that I had to shuck from nice aluminum ebike shells and rewire, and rewrap to make them fit. so far the longest trip I make was 16 miles, and I think it only ate like half my capacity, and it wasn't fully charged when I set out lol. My smaller scooter can manage about 8 miles, and My butt hurts after lol, Could use some more padding.
@@JonnyDuzzit been thinking about doing the same on mine, not gonna lie, I don't own a welder though. Also thought about adding a bike fender in ther under the plastics to keep the wheel from throwing a bunch of water and dirt and crap all over the electronics.
Officially the best looking pocket mod i have seen. Im in love with those wheels
Thanks for making this video Jonny! Helping out with a build I'm doing for a Coworker..
