Shadow work is one of best tools you can use for self-improvement. It's your ability to dig deeper down to the root causes of beliefs, stories, thoughts, fears, judgments, etc - instead of being trapped at the symptom level.

I love that you mentioned self compassion! It is so key! Cuz if you think about it too, if you are doing all the work so you don’t beat yourself up and feel you deserve to feel good than your probably likely too judge other peoples flaws too. Self compassion has been pivotal to my life🖤
When you shine the light of awareness on a shadow it ceases to be a shadow just like shining a flashlight on a physical shadow will cause it to disappear but it doesn’t go anywhere but rather becomes integrated into the light.
Shadow Integration Work need not be more complicated than that. In the end the subconscious shadows can become your greatest teachers. Then you can reintegrate those soul parts fragmented through traumas or negative programming, Thank you Clark.

I always had a theory we are reincarnated into the same Family Soul Tree.. Maybe sometimes different branch but same tree. And what if there was a “Soul Code” or Number attached to your soul. Or a way to find out who you are. I always felt like I’ve been here before. Even as a child. It was all so… familiar. And somethings are written in my genetic code, like addiction & depression. Lol but some good things are as well. Eye Origin is a good movie. And James Linegar is an eye opening story.

Clark Kegley I know this has nothing to do with this latest video but loads of people are backing you on the video you made about getting your SP to text or call you and using the 5 step method technique where you are sitting on the golf course, I will say some people commented saying you took it down because it didn’t work now for myself and loads of others it worked a treat each and every time and they too are pissed because it’s no longer up. All great tips, and good reminders as I get back into some deep work after a needed break.
Because I deal with it constantly and it's endlessly frustrating I must say: number one is practically every woke person I ever encounter on the West Coast. Everything is neurodivergent, I'm this label and that label and this label, usually as an excuse to never have to deal with people that disagree or uncomfortable emotions or to like, have to do work 🤣. It's both sad and amusing
Almost half way through this, and I am very new to the term shadow work. I was hoping for how to do this, not where to focus on the how-to's.
Shadow Work is, for the most part, useless unless you are with someone trained to help you deal with those emotions. Cause then you are stuck either stuck with painful memories and emotions that will lead you to a downward spiral, or emotions you don't know what to do with so you move on without any actual healing.
I don’t agree, it has helped me tremendously, without someone trained, you just have to be self aware and maybe you are not.
@@leghtim1 self awareness only goes no far. A lot of times, what you discover in shadow work, is really only the tip of the iceberg. If you don’t have access to a therapist, then it’s better than nothing. But you are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t look for the additional help and guidance needed to find the roots of the issues.
I agree with you, but I wouldn't call it useless, you could discourage a lot of guys from trying this, and it, as you've said, is better than nothing! Thank you for your reply and cheers!!@@Tharsos2099

I need help, so I have been in depression quite for a year and even though I am trying to live like a normal person it not easy sometimes, so the thing is that I start living and behaving like I don't exist; like a soulless person, but I must live so I start searching meditation, psychology and shadow work. My shadow work is that I keep thinking about those moments and I don't want to cry anymore whenever it comes into my mind about how my family neglect me or my only friends and roommate calling me dumb, stupid and out of my mind whenever I in that stage. How can I leave this behind, whatever I try to do shadow work on this, I just stuck in me and myself of why am I like this? I am trying to do my best and it's not like I want to die on purpose but why they keep blaming me? please give me some advice.
my problem is that i want to talk more. but i cant. get called out for and then feel bad about the fact that i cant. to change how i feel would mean i talk more. but i self sabotage myself from talking. now i can do sessions talking. but that doesnt work because then i make a connection with a person, that is different from another person. now. and there doesnt seem to be a source where i can find how to tackle obsticles. with shadow work i only ever find how to understand what you have. not actually tackeling anything in a usuable case. now talking to others is not changing it. i tried. now i think i need to just practice with the people i want to talk to. but hOw do you start with a build up plan
