Have you ever given a dog two bones? 🦴🦴 The dog will try over and over to put them both in his mouth but he can’t… You have to drop the old bone to make room for the new one Fido! 🐶🦴😂

Cool video. My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

I’m 54 and started an earnest journey to become a good, peaceful person… after a hard revelation that, in a word, entitlement had brought me all my success and also destroyed all that was truly important.
My life is so different now that I literally don’t understand the person in my old journals.
My fiancé and biz partner died suddenly and traumatically last year - and I’m deeply grateful that I changed my life so dramatically while we were together and that I had these principles to guide me through this grief. I asked “let me become someone who can use this pain as a tribute to my love of him”.
It’s sounds lofty, maybe weird but every time I face an obstacle- I ask this “let me become someone who can handle this” or “make peace with this”, “let it go”.
Do not let your thoughts run your life - it’s the most worthwhile challenge you can take on.
Also - quit social media. Find the courage to not be plugged into the system that is way more powerful than we can ever be (I’m watching brilliant minds become toxic - no exceptions. people who know better/best will not engage no matter the social cost.

Im watching this way later but i unconsciously did this. There were moments where i sat with myself, meditated and let all of these negative feelings about myself, about my situation. Becoming aware of the role i played in it. And i cried so uncontrollably hard each time. After giving myself those 5-15 minutes i just accepted it. I know what i did, why i did it and what i learned from it. And how i did this was by realizing that punishing myself and constantly suffering in my mind will accomplish nothing while moving forward will give me the peace my mind and body deserve. I pray for anyone who sees this that you’re able to get past whatever situation you’re in, remember you’re only human and you deserve to live a happy and fulfilling life.

Been practicing meditation in a very unconventional (but highly creative & efficient way!) for a few years now & as you said (& so I believe) detachment is key. More powerful than decluttering (which implies messiness & dirtiness) & closer to indifference to all the petty things surrounding our daily lives. Minimizing the impact of what the world keeps throwing at you & creating a safe haven for your inner survival. Thank you for the tips!

I can't thank you enough for what you taught me today, this was what exactly I needed at this moment. I was desperately looking for a way out of this sick loop that I'v been stuck in it for almost 7 months, I didn't know even how to let go. This made me almost paralyzed, I've been stuck in the stories of the past and now I can see that my fear of being a bad person in someone's mind keeps me stuck in this loop , I couldn't cope with the silence of my ex , now I can see that my tendency to people pleasing wants to keep me attached to my ex that maybe one day he thinks differently about me so if he likes me again then I'm likeable. See, these are all the result that I got from watching your video. Thanks a lot 🙏

Well....thank you Clark!!!! After listening to this, I realized I've already been FEELING step 1, 2, 3 for the past THREE MONTHS!!!.....so, I was writing all this down like you suggested....and what really helps is that you said "Go ahead....allow yourself to FEEL steps 1, 2, 3 as long as you need to." That's a really good idea, Clark! This is just what I needed to hear in order to LET GO. I get it. 💖💟🧡💛💗

Clark, thank you. This helped me very much. There's someone I lost a little over a month ago, someone I loved very much. I've been mourning her, and I was having an extremely difficult time letting her go. I'd have conversations with her in my imagination, even though it would cause me extreme pain imagining her voice and knowing i'll never actually hear it again. This video really helped me truly accept the pain I feel and start to move on.

This is a great video thank you...covers a lot of ground!!! For me letting go is a matter of being present in the now. Not trying to let go of anything but rather embracing whatever I need to let go of as part of my learning and growth. Lose the resistance and the letting go part happens easily.... As Bruce Lee said
"Let yourself go with the disease, be with it, keep company with it-this is the way to be rid of it.”

    Being like a water.
If we don’t know how to swim and fell into a deep water ( just like the fears occupying our subconscious) if we fight against the water we will drown, but if we just let go of ourselves by trusting the law of water, we will only be lifted up and brought to the safe side.
Trusting without using “ but” “if” “what if
If I ever was able to share few of my story only to find how to trust most may not believe. But all those troubles were intelligently designed and gifted to me only to make me who I am.
    Thank you for touching lives.
    Keep being ripples of healing♾️💧🌈♾️

The four steps presented in the video provide a clear and practical roadmap to navigate the process of letting go. Starting with acknowledging and accepting our emotions, we can begin to release the grip of attachments and allow ourselves to feel without judgment. The idea of reframing our thoughts and shifting our perspective is powerful. By consciously choosing to see situations from a different angle, we can free ourselves from the clutches of negativity and open up to new possibilities.

Anger can be important, also shame, etc... it's an adaptive response to a perceived threat. It's when our imaginations perpetuate it for longer than what is useful that it's an issue.
take shame for example. If we do something wrong, shameful, experiencing shame is important because it's what prevents us from continuing such socially unacceptable behavior habitually. It's painful and it sucks to feel shame, but without it we would be sociopathic. Negative emotions are important and part of being human.

Hi, awesome therapy that you give out. I thank you as for me. I've been sabotaging myself this past year.of pass Relationship, that's been done over 5 years. 'cause I seen her from a distance by her yourself smiling.
And it Brought up a lot of.
good time for the past end anger. I did some procedures in the past that help me. Think clearly. I thought my wall was strong, but once I saw her it all came down.
But I don't drink even when I broke up. But I now know I need to practice more. I'm really confident and letting go and getting better. ( Going on a month)
In focusing on better stuff then the negative. Thank you. Keep up the good work hope make sense What i'm saying thank you

I face the problem of letting go of past emotions, from childhood for example. I remember a painful situation, but I barely can feel it fully , that much so I can let it go..

So true. Unfortunately this is why I have ended the relationship with my two toxic sisters. It is detrimental to my mental health to be in a relationship with them. They are abusive, angry women and I've been a scapegoat for over 40 years. Even took pride in letting them. But I read a book called "Boundaries" and it changed my life. They didn't like the new me that wouldn't stand for their abuse and they got worse. So I HAD to end it. I grieved and still have memories. But I'm safe from their toxicity now. I've let them go! Literally.
