In many thermal devices that glitch/pause is called "non-uniform correction". It's essentially recalibrating the thermal sensor. It's an inherent trait of thermal vision devices. I assume that is what is going on in this unit as well.
This camera would really come in handy for me. I live in Somerset, Tx. I travel to to San Antonio for work at 5 am and don't return until 8. Ever since home communities have been built in between these two towns, there have been more sitings of deer and wild hogs. I hit a hog a few weeks back and it totaled my car. I will be investing in one of these cameras soon. Thank you for the video.
I’ve yet to take it where wildlife is present, but I’ve already seen a few cats in my neighborhood lol. I’m sure bigger animals will be recognized. Thanks for the comment. 🎥
It seems that the installation isn't complicated. It even takes the magnetic installation into account. But I'm not sure if it fits my car model. I need to ask the customer service. But it looks like this product is really worth it.🤭
External mount is the biggest hassle. I've tried my thermal cameras inside the car and they can't see anything through the glass, so there's no way around external mounting.
I work second shift and have a 35 mile commute in the middle of the night in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Deer are everywhere and seem to blend into the night. I would love to test this out!!
I don't understand all the hate calling this an "add." UA-cam is a place to share your experience. I don't watch your channel but all I can figure is that people are use to you doing something different.
Excellent comment. I personally love tech and gadgets. I couldn’t resist not doing this review because I was excited to see how it works and perhaps share my experience with people. It’s a common thing on UA-cam. I get swamped with offers to test products, but I only accept the ones I think are fun or may be of interest to my typical viewers.
@@CoastalGX I'm not a regular yet but this video was a positive experience for me. Will be looking forward to more! Thank you for the sneak peek at a tool that could help a lot of us. UA-cam haters are weird, why gripe about something you didn't have to watch? 🤣
I actually had the video planned with a couple of friends who have ranches. The rain made it impossible to drive the roads to test it with fauna. I will try to bring a follow up!
Sorry, Charles. I didn’t show it because it was truly very easy. You just pick the spot where you want to install it and clean the area. Then simply remove the adhesive and stick it onto the metal surface. You run the cable however your car is setup. Simply plug it to a dc source.
It seems perfect for nighttime drivers, like truckers or adventurers. Plus, it could help with conservation since, in some places, deer on roads is a big concern.🤔

You are very much correct! 😊

Kind of sad you didn't take it offroad and displayed the effect in pitch dark.
I will, eventually. It’s been raining and the only off-roading I can do is in private ranches where I need permission.
This is still cheaper than replacing my sandblasted windshield.
In the Valley, there are no pristine windshields 😂

Thanks! This video really helps!!! Looking forward to see more videos about this car night vision product.
It should be able to fit just about any car. Yes, I hope I can use it while driving at night on the beach.
I hate the traffic at that Target!
It’s a nightmare lol
@@Z71X4 my engine doesn’t like either 😂
At is in McAllen Texas
Bingo!! lol 😎🎥

Correct. Thermal must not be obstructed. That’s how that tech works 😊🎥
Great video as usual bud!! .. but this is unbelievably impractical in my opinion.

Thank you for the feedback. It’s not for everyone and probably the reason it’s offered as a very expensive option in some German luxury cars.

Nice kit,but preference would be to install in the car. Unfortunately, it seems not possible
Correct, it needs to be unobstructed 🎥
How can I get this

This would be great for the wild hogs in Texas. Let us know how it works for animals.
Not just Texas.

5 out of the last 6 videos are infomercials, hope you get back to your roots soon.
Amen!!! That’s the goal. I’m stopping the reviews.
Friendly reminder, your car is due for inspection this month.
I got the sticker and some specialty plates to go along with it 😊
Looks like a nice unit. Happy holidays Robert.
Thanks, brother. Enjoy the nice weather at the ranch!
Great job, if you drive at night, you need night vision-it’s one of the best safety additions, especially on rural roads😮
incredible unit! really clear in the night driving
Yes, I was impressed 🤩
You didn't show ease of installation. What about external camera and wiring. You showed ease of mounting display.

Just an add but not labeled like one...
It’s a review. Welcome to UA-cam
@CoastalGX as if i am new...
-reviewed by someone that doesn't regularly use thermal, doesn't unterstand the tech: i never said it was a good add.
It's cool, but not really practical for city drivings
Verbose and rambling
Bingo! Watch a polished commercial instead of some random fat guy improvising with his iPhone.
Let’s put another screen in their car that distracts their attention from the road. In the name of safety.
It’s not for everyone. I’m former law enforcement and this is true for many people. However, it has its uses in the right setting.
