So my Dad and I were at the cinema and we were watching San Andreas and all the way through the film there were this group of boys about my age behind us talking about me REALLY LOUDLY. So my Dad being himself started getting frustrated. He was at the point of destruction when one of the boys kicked his chair for a solid 3 minutes. My father turned around and shouted (excuse my language omg) "SHUT THE FUCK UP BEFORE I SNAP YOUR FUCKING ANKLES". The whole cinema went quiet and somebody started clapping for us. And that was the moment me and my dad became cinema heroes.

I remember when I saw Deadpool for the first time with my friends, there were these group of older nuns with about six or seven kids who were dressed up in superhero costumes because they thought it was another Marvel PG-13 rated kids movie. Oh no. They didn't even last 3 minutes in that movie theater. During the opening scene, the nuns covered up the kids faces and made them plug their ears and they fled the movie theater. When I left to go to the bathroom during the movie, I saw the older nuns shouting out the manager of the movie theater about how this movie wasn't kid appropriate and the manager basically said that the rating of the movie was on the posters, and it wasn't their fault. The last time I heard about them, they all were banned for life from that movie theater.
Once me and my friend were watching un friended at the cinema and this lady put her feet up on my arm rest no shoes or anything and I am extremely awkward and I didn't know how to tell her to move it so I tickled it and she screamed and I'm still embarrassed

At my cinema, there were two girls, (me and my friends were going to watch The Fault in Our Stars) who showed up in handmade tee shirts that had "Augustus Dies" on one, then the other girl had "Should've Read The Book". They were given so many dirty looks, but me and my friends had read the book and were just laughing at everyone who got mad at the two. Best. Cinema. Experience. Ever.

Once I was watching a film quite far back and these kids in the front were literally screaming and shouting during the film, side note- which was brilliant. Everyone was groaning and trying to block them out and I stood and shouted "SHUT UP!" They left and I got an applause

One time, I was going to the cinema with my boyfriend, my best friend and her girlfriend. I was kinda lagging behind them though, because I was texting someone. I looked up and there was three figures of people sitting in some seats and I assumed that it was them. So, I sat down next to the guy, who I assumed was my boyfriend, and started talking. But then, right in front of me, I saw my best friend and the other. I awkwardly looked beside me and accidentally screamed when I saw that it was some random guy. I awkwardly stood up and said "I was meant to do that" before stumbling away.

My worst cinema experience ever was last year. I was watching Warcraft with my father and my father fell asleep. My father doesn't snore or anything so left him to sleep. Anyways the person next to me was silent at the beginning, but in the exciting part of the movie his phone started ringing. He didn't silent it. After a few minutes of his phone ringing and distracting me from the movie he finally answered it. He was talking loudly and after he finished the call he started TEXTING WITH FULL BRIGHTNESS TILL THE END OF THE MOVIE!

Me and my friend went to see Jurassic World [the movie we waited months for], and at the dramatic part where the dinosaur was chasing the two kids, some little boy behind us started screaming. No one did anything really, then we found out somehow he got HIS WHOLE ARM stuck the cupholder. How does that even happen? Even worse, the movie kept playing the whole time he was screaming. The people who owned the place were there shining flashing flashlights on him, and eventually the DANG FIRE DEPARTMENT was there, and has to cut the cupholder off the chair, ALL WHILE THE MOVIE WAS PLAYING. And the boy basically screamed the rest of the movie ;-;
pikalove well once i got my hand stuck in a table. you know in most of ICT rooms at schools they have like these weird tables with holes so you can out a cables through them so nothing gets damaged. well i was bored so i had put my hand in there when my friend decided to play a prank on me and pushed me, digging my hand deeper into that hole. i was stuck. well after ten minutes of discreet pulling and destroying school proerty with scisors, i was free and a teacher didnt even took notice of one, best, most visible student being weirdly spread acroos a table! i felt so awkward and my friend dosent let me froget it.

Aha! This reminds me of this one school assembly where someone started coughing, another joined in, and then soon enough a chain of people coughing blocked out the sound of the announcer. I loved middle school.
One time, I was in the cinema with my friends and we were watching a horror film. I enjoy horror films because I love the suspense and all that jazz but one of my friends did not. When a jumpscare came on, it was a very small jumpscare, my friend yelled, "Holy mother of aborted seals." My friends and I looked at my friend who had put the empty popcorn bucket over their head from fear. I have not gone to the theatre with that friend since then.
Update: This friend said that they can handle scary movies now. So the same friends and I went to go see the Gallows and that friend said they had to "use the restroom". We were like okay. That friend went to see the Minions movie. They ditched me and my other friends. I am 110% done with their shit.

During one of the Harry Potter films there were these two young boys and their dad sitting in front of us and the boys were being really noisy and irritating and their dad was sitting there like nothing was going on. So I sorta just mumbled 'Shh' but it came out louder than intended and all three of them turned around to look at me... Then their Dad gave me a death glare and since I was about 12 I was with my dad as well and he was just like; "What you looking at?" That being said, the man told his sons to be quiet and I didn't hear another word out of them throughout the rest of the film xD My dad's awesome!

Heh, i went to the cinema with my uncle, sis and brother. We were like 1 hour early and were aloud in. We sat in our seats and it was empty. I kept climbing over the seats putting up some random arm rests and when people started coming in they looked annoyed because they couldnt find the arm rests 😂😂

I went to see The 5th Wave in February with some friends, and there was a decent amount of people in the lobby, we were waiting for a reasonable time to go in and wait in the theater and my shoe was apparently untied and I had some cotton candy and I tripped over my shoe lace and fell face first into my cotton candy

Once I was at the movies watching the visit and there was these teen girl like 4 seats beside us and at the last half hour of the movie (which is the most interesting part btw) they were laughing throwing popcorn at eachother and it kept hitting me I was so pissed but didn't say anything because I was a shy acword person then but if it happened now I would tell them to stop throwing popcorn really loudly even tho there was only my friend, me like 3 20 year olds and them
I was at the secret life of Walter Mitty with my friend when this large couple sat down and started taking out a full KFC meal. My friend was like "the film has started could you please stop?" And they just turned around and looked at her and kept pulling out food. That was when my friend said (in a loud voice I must add) "if your gonna keep on doing that you might as well share some!" She meant it sarcastically but the lady turned around and tried to give her food. My friend was half heartedly turning down food while I was rolling in my seat laughing!

Oh god... YES!!! I am 13, I was watching some movie, I forgot which one, and I was with my uncle, aunt, and cousins. One of them got a call, and since that one watched the movie before and didn't like the part it was in,they left and answered it to not disturb people. So, it was like, 20 minutes into the film, and some guy came in in his mid twenties and sat down NEXT TO ME. Where my relative was sitting. I was just scared witless, (you know, I could've kicked him where it hurts, and elbowed his ribs, but I was in public, and we were at the cinema, so I didn't want to start a 80 people fight, ya know??) And he was just STARING at me. It wasn't creepy, it was just a 5 second, then turn away, but he did it a lot. Then at one point he saw me staring back and smiled and waved. I shyly smiled and waved back, but I was about to ask him "Why in God's name would you sit next to me when there are 8,000 seats around us?!" In Spanish. (Yea, I'm Puerto Rican, and I was in Puerto Rico on a vacation back home.) But before I did, that relative came back and told him quietly to move. After 10 awkward seconds of him trying to move and be unnoticed, we continued watching in peace, but I could just FEEL his eyes staring into my SOUL. Help me...

Okay so I was at the movie theatre last year watching something in 3D and there were people behind me and I had a huge bag of popcorn in front of me. There was this one girl that was sitting in front of me when I was watch Catching Fire and she had her phone on with full brightness and she didn't turn her ringer off so you could hear texting. I was chewing gum and I was not having it with this girl. I took the gum out of my mouth and with my amazing luck, I threw my gum at her and it landed on her phone screen. Like right in the center. The gum was like super sticky and it was stuck on phone screen. She stopped texting and I felt insanely proud of myself.
I was watching antman the other week, and there was a guy along the isle that had his phone and he was texting through 96% of the film, and when he was watching it he didn't put his phone on lock, he kept it on, and the screen was facing me. I wanted to get up and strangle him.
A few years ago I went to go to the cinemas to see the hunger games with my family. And behind us were these two men, and right when we sat down they started tapping on our seats and humming REALLY LOUDLY through like half the movie. And they weren't doing that before so this made me really annoyed. I decided to tell them to be quiet. It went down like this: *ahem* "Um excuse me can you be quiet" *doesn't here us* " Um EXCUSE ME can you be quiet?" *Still doesn't here us* "Um can you shut up?!" *STILL DOESN'T HERE US* "CAN YOU SHUT THE HELL UP." Then we got kicked out because "we were being to loud."
I went to go see Catching Fire with my mom and sister about a month after it came out. In front of us were a group of girls that kept drooling and cooeing over Finnick. There was an elder lady two seats down from me that kept screaming at the characters in the movie, telling them how stupid they were. And they a couple two rows behind us that was doing some naughty things because in the middle of the movie, you could hear moaning. I also spill my drinks on a young child when they ran into me and I dropped popcorn down my shirt.
Once, I just decided to go to the cinema because there was the new Star Wars. As I walk in the theatre I see my friend, so I decide to sit next to her... that was a big mistake. It was a mistake because there was a dude sitting in front of us. That guy was telling girls pick-up lines that made me cringe, he looked about 17 and I was 16. Henceforth he turns around and says quote on quote "Come with me and we could have some fun." I had a HUGE bucket of popcorn at the time as well. You know what? It wasn't huge it was the Godzilla of popcorn. I took my popcorn,and whispered to my friend,"Lets trow popcorn at this mother fucker." And she took the popcorn bucket out of my hands and put it on his head, along with taking my drink, and pouring it down his shirt. I have amazing friends
Most of the time, when I go to the movies there's literally no one there except me and the group of people I go with, maybe 1 or 2 others, and only once were there a bunch of people there but it makes sense because it was Jurassic World in 3D on friday. But, because there's no one there, we yell like we're in our living rooms. The projector guy must think we're nutcases.
i can't remember the movie but awhile back I went with my cousin the the cinema and the US guys a few rows behind us kept making snarky comments about the movie and a scene that made me and my cousin giggle triggered them into fucking with us cause they mimicked our giggle and then started throwing popcorn at us so with out warning my cousin took our LARGE drink and threw it right at them and said go clean yourselves up you look like saggy pieces of shit, then she started them down till they got up and left. the whole theater was watching and a few people laughed. the moment was dense then but now I look back it was just really funny.

one time me and my friends went to a movie and this huge group of people sat a few rows away from is and their commentary was the rudest, they were making fun of the film, at times were yelling at each other, and they also started getting up and started moving around, so me and my friends started throwing all sorts of ish at them and at the end of the movie 2 girls got up and said "OHMYGOD WHO THROUGH BUTTERY POPCORN INTO OUR WEAVES" that was the day I died.
once it was my 10th birthday and my parents took me and some mates to see a film when half way through the movie my dad fell asleep and started snoring and it turned out my teacher was sitting right behind him. it still torments me now!
I went to see How To Train Your Dragon 2 with my oldest sister(she's like 25 and AWESOME) and there was hardly anyone there. Out of ALL the other seats there were, some people sat infront of us, I mean, Jessica and I were on our phones during the previews (who wants to watch that shiet) but when it started we put our phones up. And, these kids, not that much young than me mabey 10-12, were talking. Now, I have 6 siblings and I was used to the annoying chatter, but these kids...Oh. My. Assiah. They were giving play-by-play commentary and were giggling at serious parts and I have a short temper and I don't have a processor, for my mouth and my body. So, I leaned foreward, and I raised my hand up high, ready to neck the ring leader when another lady next to them saw me about to beat these kids, turned to them and said "Shut up, because that girl is gonna smack you if you don't" They turned around and I was decked out in black mostly, I was wearing my Naruto shirt that had a picture of the Akatsuki, black skinny jeans, a BM,SM,GL and Flash seat-belt belt and my hair was in the classic emo girl hair style and I had thick eyeliner around my eyes. I was giving them the most pissed off look ever and for those Otaku's who watch Naruto/Shippuden, I had an evil air around me worse than Kushina, Tsunade, Sakura, Madara/Tobi/Obito and Sasuke combined. They shut up and turned around, no sound was made. ^~^ I love being scary
So when I saw Mockingjay with my friends, the previews had died out and the logos were starting up, but this guy in front of us had his phone on with pretty much no intention of shutting it off, so I just start glaring at it. My friend asks me what I'm doing, and I reply in just above a whisper so I know he can hear me, "I'm trying to will the guy in front of us to turn off his phone." It worked.
And this other time, I was seeing Annabelle with my mom, and we were sitting on the right side of the middle, and there was this group of teenage girls against the wall on the left side. Now, it's a horror movie. There's jump scares. I get it. I'm fine with you letting out a yelp of surprise or fear every now and then, or maybe a gasp or two. I do it myself. I'm even fine with you laughing a bit at how overdone everything in horror movies gets. But when the house LITERALLY JUST CAUGHT ON FIRE and you are over on the other side of the theater just LAUGHING IT UP LIKE IT'S A FREAKING *COMEDY*, I've got a problem. So I'm just sitting there thinking, "What are you laughing at, the main character is i*literally* about to die," and I look over to their side of the theater and see a nice little rectangle of light. You are at a movie. Each and every one of you all payed $6.50 each to get in here, and maybe some of you got popcorn. Now is not the time to be glowing up the theater on full brightness showing your tumblr to your friends or something. You want to do that, go hang out in the lobby on the couches. Go across the parking lot to the mall and laugh over there. But for the LOVE OF GOD *DON'T* DO IT IN THE MOVIE THEATER.
I agree on all of them.... Anyway I have one more to add... The people that sit next to me during the film and its so awkward.... especially if they have small children because they keep staring at me
Ahaha....Woops. This is why I watch films at home, especially with friends. My favourite part of watching a movie is making fun of it and quoting cinema sins whilst watching it. Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the film, it's just fun. So in public I guess I'm fairly annoying. I always think I'm talking quietly but I've probably ruined the experience for some people. I hope, even though I'm young, people will tell me to shut up if I'm being too loud.
I went to see The Hunger Games: Catching Fire with some of my friends. The movie theater was almost full so we took this one row. I sat in the chair and it felt like something bit my ass. I screamed like a girl and immediately everyone was yelling at me to shut up. Turns out I sat on a spider. A black widow, to be more precise. I didn't tell anyone though. I had to stay in the same seat because there were no other empty seats. I was scared out of my life because I have a *HUGE* fear of spiders. Then, when the moie was over, I got up and looked at the seat where there were 4 black widows in the crease between the back and the butt of the chair.
So, when I went to see a very scary movie, I sat in the darkest corner of the room, and someone didn't notice I was there and sat on me, and they thought I was the cushion, so when the scariest part was there I screamed right I their ear ad they wet running.
I was actually in a band performance, that was going to go on for a few hours, and OH MY HELL Me and my friend wanted to murder most of the people near us. People on phones, people who wont shut up, this dude with his baby who was using no effort to stop it from crying, these two ladies having a full on conversation unrelated to what was going on. UGHH
maybe not the same thing, but I was watching my schools high school musical, and people were talking, my friend was talking to me and she was on her phone playing games while the whole thing was going on RIGHT infront of us.. she did it as well when we went to the cinema together that really ticked me off but I cant say anything because I was holding my anger in.. lol I might seem calm but in reality stuff like that irks me the most
You know what's awkward? When you have seats reserved and you think that someone is sitting in them, you ask them nicely to move because those are your seats and then you find out... they aren't and your seats are right next to them... You know what I mean?

I went to see the new "it" movie yesterday and in the row in front of me were some 4 year olds and some kids around my age they were being really loud so I tapped on of their shoulders and the girl screamed while I was trying to ask her to be quiet turns out that girl was actually my best friend I just can't see shit in the dark but I did scare her so yay
Well this is embarrassing on my part but my friends made me go get more popcorn during a movie and when I got back I tripped and fell UP the stairs and spit popcorn everywhere and of course it was during the only quiet part of the movie so everyone heard me 😂😂😂😂
I went to Breaking Dawn part 2 when it came out and me and my family were on the seats where it makes a new sections an of course the lady starting the new section gets a phone call and decides "hey the movie hasn't started yet so il just stay in here and talk extremely loud" but this went on until about 10 minutes into the movie and i was beyond pissed off so as i get up i seam to trip but that wasnt stopping me from making her shut the hell up so i went up to her and ever so politely grab her phone and said "im sorry but the person your talking to is in a movie theatre" and proceeded to end the call and i then told her that if she wished to talk anymore to use her manners and walk out of the damn theatre and i then walked back but shortly realized that she was my english teacher......i was in for hell the next day at school.. ~Riann

I went to go see "The Boy" in this AMAZING theater and my great aunt decided to ignore the warning to turn her phone off. She had her ringer all the way up and her daughter called twice. I moved seats just so I wouldn't be associated with her.
I'm one of those annoying people who make comments through out the whole movie and laugh at myself and annoy everyone at the cinema. I'm pretty sure there's a special place saved for me in hell...
So I was young for this one but we were in the cinema and someone's phone starting ringing, sounded like full volume too. They looked down at their phone a answered it, and mind you, my mum is NOT afraid to say something. So my mother decided to get up and yell at hum to get out of the movie. Then she was cheered on and we all went back to the movie. She got a lot of thank yous when the movie was finsihed.
Okay we were watching some disney movie and there was this girl who cried because she didn't like the movie and so I just said "I actually like the movie so could you shut up and stop crying you're ruining the movie for everyone." I was like 9 lmao and sassy
Another time I went to see this Spanish movie that was incredibly popular with teenagers, I went there with a friend because she insisted a lot, so... I was wearing a dress for the cinema, because it was summer and it was fucking 40ºC in the street. I did not like that dress, because you could see half my thighs, but it was the only dress I owned, so I wore that. I'm big, and I was feeling self concious enough as it was, but when we got in the cinema... There was a group of girls (15/16. I was 13 at that time), I could have sent them all to the other side of the cinema with a single punch, they were that skinny, and oh, man, were they pretty. As soon as I entered the cinema, their gaze landed on me. They looked up and down at me, and giggled. I normally wouldn't have given a flying fuck about it, But, throughout the film, they didn't stop giggling and not-so-much whispering, clearly about me, because I could fucking hear them. The thing is, it was easier hearing them than the movie (they were that loud) so, 10 minutes after first seeing them, it started getting to me. I curled more and more into my seat, convincing myself not to cry over something so stupid. I didn't care about what they thought about me, I told myself. There was a woman in her thirties, probably? looking between the girls and me, switching between distaste and concern respectivelly. When they pointed at me while (not even pretending to whisper) said: ''Just look at her. If I looked like that I wouldn't even go out of my house'' I just couldn't. I felt the tears welling up in my eyes, and the woman looked like she had had enough. She got up, walked to the girls and just shouted at them to shut the fuck up or get the fuck out of there. I think they got scared, because they did get out. She smiled sweetly at me and went back to her seat and we finally finished watching the goddamn movie. Woman from the cinema, ily.

I remember watching THE FAULT IN OUR STARS in the cinema with my aunt and my friends. Then I get irritated because the people behind us kept talking what will happened next because they've read the book. They keep spoiling it. But of course me and my aunt read the book. Then suddenly they laugh and again they spoil the movie but now they talking loudly. A lot of people get irritated then my aunt stand up and yell at those kid and said. "You little brat will you shut up, I know you've read the book and so do we but you're freaking spoiling the movie why don't you just get the hell out." Then the crowd in the cinema cheers for my aunt. Then those people behind us shut up.
Ok well yesterday I went to go see The Conjuring 2 and it was an amazing movie but...there was a group of people that brought a baby! Someone brought a child to a R rated horror film at 10:30 at night!!!! I was furious! And not only that they were very loud and kept laughing at the baby and whispering (loud whispering) I wanted to strangle someone.
Alright, so since everybody's commenting some cinema experiences, I thought I'd share mine! I while back I went to go see one of my favorite movies, sadly I forgot the name of it right now. (It's 6 AM don't judge me.) We got our tickets and sat down and of course, everything was fine and dandy through the adverts but THEN- This guy. Oh this one guy. It's like he's seen this entire movie before because you know what he did? He quoted it. Every line. I sat there with the biggest glare at him and he just kept on rambling every line of the goddamn movie as loud as possible. So eventually I decided to lean down and go "We're hearing the movie, we don't need and echo as loud as possible thanks." And leaned back. The guy just stared at me for a moment before shutting up. Hhhh.. People.
This was when Dan had to say "my friend Phil", so that we knew he was referring to a friend of his. Now all he has to say is Phil. 🙃

So my Dad and I were at the cinema and we were watching San Andreas and all the way through the film there were this group of boys about my age behind us talking about me REALLY LOUDLY. So my Dad being himself started getting frustrated. He was at the point of destruction when one of the boys kicked his chair for a solid 3 minutes. My father turned around and shouted (excuse my language omg) "SHUT THE FUCK UP BEFORE I SNAP YOUR FUCKING ANKLES". The whole cinema went quiet and somebody started clapping for us. And that was the moment me and my dad became cinema heroes.

I remember when I saw Deadpool for the first time with my friends, there were these group of older nuns with about six or seven kids who were dressed up in superhero costumes because they thought it was another Marvel PG-13 rated kids movie. Oh no. They didn't even last 3 minutes in that movie theater. During the opening scene, the nuns covered up the kids faces and made them plug their ears and they fled the movie theater. When I left to go to the bathroom during the movie, I saw the older nuns shouting out the manager of the movie theater about how this movie wasn't kid appropriate and the manager basically said that the rating of the movie was on the posters, and it wasn't their fault. The last time I heard about them, they all were banned for life from that movie theater.

But then, right in front of me, I saw my best friend and the other. I awkwardly looked beside me and accidentally screamed when I saw that it was some random guy. Me and my friend went to see Jurassic World [the movie we waited months for], and at the dramatic part where the dinosaur was chasing the two kids, some little boy behind us started screaming. No one did anything really, then we found out somehow he got HIS WHOLE ARM stuck the cupholder. How does that even happen? Even worse, the movie kept playing the whole time he was screaming. The people who owned the place were there shining flashing flashlights on him, and eventually the DANG FIRE DEPARTMENT was there, and has to cut the cupholder off the chair, ALL WHILE THE MOVIE WAS PLAYING. And the boy basically screamed the rest of the movie ;-;

One time, I was in the cinema with my friends and we were watching a horror film. I enjoy horror films because I love the suspense and all that jazz but one of my friends did not. When a jumpscare came on, it was a very small jumpscare, my friend yelled, "Holy mother of aborted seals." Then their Dad gave me a death glare and since I was about 12 I was with my dad as well and he was just like; "What you looking at?"

So I was at the movie theater with a group of friends. We were watching The Boss Baby (just for lolz lol) and the baby said conspiracy, but it was pronounce conspEYEracy, and we usually pronounce it conspEEracy. So , my friend sitting next to me and I, both said like "CONSPIRACY?" at the same accidental and every one in the theater started laughing lol.
Okay so I live in Germany, so obviously the movies in the cinema are in German too. I went to see "The Hobbit" with my friend, and it all was fine, until a few seats away from us, a guy started to TRANSLATE THE WHOLE MOVIE INTO PORTUGUESE to his girlfriend. WHY THE FUCK DOES HE TAKE HER TO THE MOVIES IF SHE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND A WORD! like, they were just close enough for me to hear him mumbling over every fucking dialogue, but just far enough away so i couldn't say anything and no one else did either, so i spent three hours building up an internal rage with every word he said - i have never felt so close to murder -.-

I went to see The 5th Wave in February with some friends, and there was a decent amount of people in the lobby, we were waiting for a reasonable time to go in and wait in the theater and my shoe was apparently untied and I had some cotton candy and I tripped over my shoe lace and fell face first into my cotton candy

IT LIT UP THE WHOLE FREAKING PLACE UP!!! We were sitting behind him, so my friend said "omg stop, we are watching a movie!" Omg, I've never seen anyone look madder in my life. So the man tried to grab my popcorn.... MY POPCORN!!!! So I got up in his face and said, "you take my food, I break your face..." And he turned his phone off. Oh the memories....

I was at the secret life of Walter Mitty with my friend when this large couple sat down and started taking out a full KFC meal. My friend was like "the film has started could you please stop?" And they just turned around and looked at her and kept pulling out food. That was when my friend said (in a loud voice I must add) "if your gonna keep on doing that you might as well share some!" She meant it sarcastically but the lady turned around and tried to give her food.
My friend was half heartedly turning down food while I was rolling in my seat laughing!

Oh god... YES!!! I am 13, I was watching some movie, I forgot which one, and I was with my uncle, aunt, and cousins. One of them got a call, and since that one watched the movie before and didn't like the part it was in,they left and answered it to not disturb people. So, it was like, 20 minutes into the film, and some guy came in in his mid twenties and sat down NEXT TO ME. Where my relative was sitting. I was just scared witless, (you know, I could've kicked him where it hurts, and elbowed his ribs, but I was in public, and we were at the cinema, so I didn't want to start a 80 people fight, ya know??) And he was just STARING at me. It wasn't creepy, it was just a 5 second, then turn away, but he did it a lot. Then at one point he saw me staring back and smiled and waved. I shyly smiled and waved back, but I was about to ask him "Why in God's name would you sit next to me when there are 8,000 seats around us?!" In Spanish. (Yea, I'm Puerto Rican, and I was in Puerto Rico on a vacation back home.) But before I did, that relative came back and told him quietly to move. After 10 awkward seconds of him trying to move and be unnoticed, we continued watching in peace, but I could just FEEL his eyes staring into my SOUL. Help me...

Okay so I was at the movie theatre last year watching something in 3D and there were people behind me and I had a huge bag of popcorn in front of me. So a scary pop up happened and I was totally caught off guard and I gasped and my popcorn went everywhere including behind me like in TV shows... I was so embarrassed

There was this one girl that was sitting in front of me when I was watch Catching Fire and she had her phone on with full brightness and she didn't turn her ringer off so you could hear texting. I was chewing gum and I was not having it with this girl. I took the gum out of my mouth and with my amazing luck, I threw my gum at her and it landed on her phone screen. Like right in the center. The gum was like super sticky and it was stuck on phone screen. She stopped texting and I felt insanely proud of myself.

And behind us were these two men, and right when we sat down they started tapping on our seats and humming REALLY LOUDLY through like half the movie. And they weren't doing that before so this made me really annoyed. I decided to tell them to be quiet. It went down like this: *ahem* "Um excuse me can you be quiet" *doesn't here us* " Um EXCUSE ME can you be quiet?" *Still doesn't here us* "Um can you shut up?!" *STILL DOESN'T HERE US* "CAN YOU SHUT THE HELL UP." Then we got kicked out because "we were being to loud."

I went to go see Catching Fire with my mom and sister about a month after it came out. In front of us were a group of girls that kept drooling and cooeing over Finnick. There was an elder lady two seats down from me that kept screaming at the characters in the movie, telling them how stupid they were. And they a couple two rows behind us that was doing some naughty things because in the middle of the movie, you could hear moaning. I also spill my drinks on a young child when they ran into me and I dropped popcorn down my shirt.
Once, I just decided to go to the cinema because there was the new Star Wars. As I walk in the theatre I see my friend, so I decide to sit next to her... that was a big mistake. It was a mistake because there was a dude sitting in front of us. That guy was telling girls pick-up lines that made me cringe, he looked about 17 and I was 16. Henceforth he turns around and says quote on quote "Come with me and we could have some fun." I had a HUGE bucket of popcorn at the time as well. You know what? It wasn't huge it was the Godzilla of popcorn. I took my popcorn,and whispered to my friend,"Lets trow popcorn at this mother fucker." And she took the popcorn bucket out of my hands and put it on his head, along with taking my drink, and pouring it down his shirt. I have amazing friends

i can't remember the movie but awhile back I went with my cousin the the cinema and the US guys a few rows behind us kept making snarky comments about the movie and a scene that made me and my cousin giggle triggered them into fucking with us cause they mimicked our giggle and then started throwing popcorn at us so with out warning my cousin took our LARGE drink and threw it right at them and said go clean yourselves up you look like saggy pieces of shit, then she started them down till they got up and left. the whole theater was watching and a few people laughed. the moment was dense then but now I look back it was just really funny.

once it was my 10th birthday and my parents took me and some mates to see a film when half way through the movie my dad fell asleep and started snoring and it turned out my teacher was sitting right behind him. it still torments me now!
I went to see How To Train Your Dragon 2 with my oldest sister(she's like 25 and AWESOME) and there was hardly anyone there. Out of ALL the other seats there were, some people sat infront of us, I mean, Jessica and I were on our phones during the previews (who wants to watch that shiet) but when it started we put our phones up. And, these kids, not that much young than me mabey 10-12, were talking. Now, I have 6 siblings and I was used to the annoying chatter, but these kids...Oh. My. Assiah. They were giving play-by-play commentary and were giggling at serious parts and I have a short temper and I don't have a processor, for my mouth and my body. So, I leaned foreward, and I raised my hand up high, ready to neck the ring leader when another lady next to them saw me about to beat these kids, turned to them and said "Shut up, because that girl is gonna smack you if you don't" They turned around and I was decked out in black mostly, I was wearing my Naruto shirt that had a picture of the Akatsuki, black skinny jeans, a BM,SM,GL and Flash seat-belt belt and my hair was in the classic emo girl hair style and I had thick eyeliner around my eyes. I was giving them the most pissed off look ever and for those Otaku's who watch Naruto/Shippuden, I had an evil air around me worse than Kushina, Tsunade, Sakura, Madara/Tobi/Obito and Sasuke combined. They shut up and turned around, no sound was made.

So when I saw Mockingjay with my friends, the previews had died out and the logos were starting up, but this guy in front of us had his phone on with pretty much no intention of shutting it off, so I just start glaring at it. My friend asks me what I'm doing, and I reply in just above a whisper so I know he can hear me, "I'm trying to will the guy in front of us to turn off his phone." It worked.
And this other time, I was seeing Annabelle with my mom, and we were sitting on the right side of the middle, and there was this group of teenage girls against the wall on the left side. Now, it's a horror movie. There's jump scares. I get it. I'm fine with you letting out a yelp of surprise or fear every now and then, or maybe a gasp or two. I do it myself. I'm even fine with you laughing a bit at how overdone everything in horror movies gets. But when the house LITERALLY JUST CAUGHT ON FIRE and you are over on the other side of the theater just LAUGHING IT UP LIKE IT'S A FREAKING *COMEDY*, I've got a problem. So I'm just sitting there thinking, "What are you laughing at, the main character is i*literally* about to die," and I look over to their side of the theater and see a nice little rectangle of light. You are at a movie. Each and every one of you all payed $6.50 each to get in here, and maybe some of you got popcorn. Now is not the time to be glowing up the theater on full brightness showing your tumblr to your friends or something. You want to do that, go hang out in the lobby on the couches. Go across the parking lot to the mall and laugh over there. But for the LOVE OF GOD *DON'T* DO IT IN THE MOVIE THEATER.
I agree on all of them.... Anyway I have one more to add... The people that sit next to me during the film and its so awkward.... especially if they have small children because they keep staring at me

Ahaha....Woops. This is why I watch films at home, especially with friends. My favourite part of watching a movie is making fun of it and quoting cinema sins whilst watching it. Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the film, it's just fun. So in public I guess I'm fairly annoying. I always think I'm talking quietly but I've probably ruined the experience for some people. I hope, even though I'm young, people will tell me to shut up if I'm being too loud.
I went to see The Hunger Games: Catching Fire with some of my friends. The movie theater was almost full so we took this one row. I sat in the chair and it felt like something bit my ass. I screamed like a girl and immediately everyone was yelling at me to shut up. Turns out I sat on a spider. A black widow, to be more precise. I didn't tell anyone though. I had to stay in the same seat because there were no other empty seats. I was scared out of my life because I have a *HUGE* fear of spiders. Then, when the moie was over, I got up and looked at the seat where there were 4 black widows in the crease between the back and the butt of the chair.
Needless to say, I never went bac,k to that theater.
GOOD GRIEF! Bloody Black Widows!? That theatre should get shut down for letting something like THAT be in it...

I went to Breaking Dawn part 2 when it came out and me and my family were on the seats where it makes a new sections an of course the lady starting the new section gets a phone call and decides "hey the movie hasn't started yet so il just stay in here and talk extremely loud" but this went on until about 10 minutes into the movie and i was beyond pissed off so as i get up i seam to trip but that wasnt stopping me from making her shut the hell up so i went up to her and ever so politely grab her phone and said "im sorry but the person your talking to is in a movie theatre" and proceeded to end the call and i then told her that if she wished to talk anymore to use her manners and walk out of the damn theatre and i then walked back but shortly realized that she was my english teacher......i was in for hell the next day at school..

So I was young for this one but we were in the cinema and someone's phone starting ringing, sounded like full volume too. They looked down at their phone a answered it, and mind you, my mum is NOT afraid to say something. So my mother decided to get up and yell at hum to get out of the movie. Then she was cheered on and we all went back to the movie. She got a lot of thank yous when the movie was finsihed.

Another time I went to see this Spanish movie that was incredibly popular with teenagers, I went there with a friend because she insisted a lot, so...
I was wearing a dress for the cinema, because it was summer and it was fucking 40ºC in the street. I did not like that dress, because you could see half my thighs, but it was the only dress I owned, so I wore that.
I'm big, and I was feeling self concious enough as it was, but when we got in the cinema...
There was a group of girls (15/16. I was 13 at that time), I could have sent them all to the other side of the cinema with a single punch, they were that skinny, and oh, man, were they pretty.
As soon as I entered the cinema, their gaze landed on me. They looked up and down at me, and giggled. I normally wouldn't have given a flying fuck about it, But, throughout the film, they didn't stop giggling and not-so-much whispering, clearly about me, because I could fucking hear them.
The thing is, it was easier hearing them than the movie (they were that loud) so, 10 minutes after first seeing them, it started getting to me. I curled more and more into my seat, convincing myself not to cry over something so stupid. I didn't care about what they thought about me, I told myself.
There was a woman in her thirties, probably? looking between the girls and me, switching between distaste and concern respectivelly.
When they pointed at me while (not even pretending to whisper) said: ''Just look at her. If I looked like that I wouldn't even go out of my house'' I just couldn't. I felt the tears welling up in my eyes, and the woman looked like she had had enough. She got up, walked to the girls and just shouted at them to shut the fuck up or get the fuck out of there. I think they got scared, because they did get out. She smiled sweetly at me and went back to her seat and we finally finished watching the goddamn movie.

Ok well yesterday I went to go see The Conjuring 2 and it was an amazing movie but...there was a group of people that brought a baby! Someone brought a child to a R rated horror film at 10:30 at night!!!! I was furious! And not only that they were very loud and kept laughing at the baby and whispering (loud whispering) I wanted to strangle someone.

Alright, so since everybody's commenting some cinema experiences, I thought I'd share mine!
I while back I went to go see one of my favorite movies, sadly I forgot the name of it right now. (It's 6 AM don't judge me.)
We got our tickets and sat down and of course, everything was fine and dandy through the adverts but THEN-
This guy. Oh this one guy. It's like he's seen this entire movie before because you know what he did? He quoted it. Every line. I sat there with the biggest glare at him and he just kept on rambling every line of the goddamn movie as loud as possible.
So eventually I decided to lean down and go "We're hearing the movie, we don't need and echo as loud as possible thanks." And leaned back. The guy just stared at me for a moment before shutting up. Hhhh.. People.

Omg the same thing happened to me except it was a young girl and I didn't confront her... I wish I would have though.
When I saw Love, Simon the people sitting behind me yelled “F**k Yeah!!” At the end scene😂😂
