As a former detail shop owner, I'm a huge spray nine fan . I would buy it @ 15 gallons at a time. I do Like the super clean product also. HOWEVER The spray nine is not supposed to be diluted according to manufacturer, but you still can a lil bit. That being said the better value for a cleaner is super clean since it is recommended to be diluted. IMO there is NOT a better or stronger, more versatile cleaner that is readily available than spray nine, as it kills most common viruses at same time as cleaning nearly any stain. A few negatives are the cost of spray nine is approx $10-$12 per gallon -VS- $10 per gal of super clean that is very dilutable. Also spray nine CAN and will remove factory dye finish from leather if not watching what your doing. I've diluted spray nine 50/50, 1:1 with water with decent results as well. As far as household use, spray nine is only thing needed at home. Just my 2 cents. Thanx for your great videos.
I use Spray 9 for interiors and my clients absolutely appreciate the sanitizing and scent. Super Clean I primarily use for exterior cleaning. Both are highly effective and due to dilution rates maximize you're return on investment. Another fantastic vid. Thank you sir. 👍
Great review Brian Spray nine and super clean are stated that both are safe on plastics BUT super clean will remove paint. I use super superclean to remove paint on fender wells and works well. Because of the paint removal properties I don't use super clean in interiors. I use the spray nine. Also use the spray nine for the germ fighting capabilities
Hello Kevin! Yes, we always recommend being extra cautious when using Super Clean on painted and powder coated surfaces. Super Clean has many uses and can be diluted to customize a cleaning solution for nearly every need. We recommend you use our dilution chart which is found on our website at www.superclean.com and click on the purple beaker on the right hand side. Please email our Customer Service Department at customerservice@superclean.com if you have any questions. Thank you!
SuperClean is it safe for rubber? I want to degrease my zero turn before I begin working on it, but don’t want to break down rubber fuel lines for very obvious reasons.
hey brian i see you also use tide cold water clean in interiors a lot what makes you decide to choose between spray 9 and tide thanks for all the great info on detailing by the way big fan of this channel thanks
I used both of these at my auto detail shop for years. I'm a huge fan of spray nine , but sometimes it can take your breath away with it's potent smell. I have never known the spray nine to be considered a dilutable product (even though I have done it) So it can get expensive if used regularly . The super clean definitely is suggested to be diluted in most cases unless your degreasing a engine. With that being said the super clean will go further and cost less . I do wish there was a concentrated version of spray nine available. Also do you know of any real differences between the marine spray nine VS regular spray nine.? HAPPY DETAILING
Hello from the future. Great video. I agree both are excellent products. Back 35 years ago I used spray nine daily as an automotive detail technician. There was nothing spray nine would NOT remove including road tar. Although both are great I personally am partial to spray nine. It's been on the market for 35+ years that I know of so that has to account for something. Again I am speaking ONLY for MYSELF. Keep up the good work.
I think they are both at the top for cleaning heavy dirt and grease nice to know that spray nine is also a disinfectant keep up the great videos Brian I have learned a lot
I've never used Spray Nine so I cannot attest to it. I like what I see so I will give it a try. Now SuperClean is the meanest, jaw-dropping APC I have ever used. Since it is ~13pH I don't use it on anything between the doors but I love using it on external surfaces. It is cheap too.
I used to work for enterprise rental and sometimes I wonder if I ever cleaned up a crime scene with Zep Spray 9. I know it may have been because there was blood and maybe some vomit. When you spray it on something biological, the stains turned like a yellowish green color . Everything cleans right up with spray 9.
I think super clean is stronger bc it can be diluted as to spray nine you cant. Can you please make a simple vid on both this products again but both diluted 4:1 and see how spray nine is when its cut down
Lowes is blowing out spray nine for 2.49/gal through 8/2. I picked up the last 5 gallons at my local for 13 bucks. Looks like they are blowing it out because only 1 store out of like 15 in my area had it.
I agree Super Clean is a powerful cleaner. I used it for years cleaning motorcycle parts until I read the lable...It states not to use on aluminum parts, and also not to be used on motorcycles. Yikes!!! I am trying Spray Nine Power Kleen in my parts washer at the dilution listed on the label, and am so far not impressed. Maybe I need to make it stronger...
I used to use Spray 9 until it got too expensive. Then I switched to Mean Green. At $5can for a 1L bottle it was a no brainer. Half the price of Spray 9 and I found it worked better. I noticed Super Clean on sale this week. Never tried it before. So I got some. People are saying to dilute it. Do you use the product diluted? If so what ratio?
A good idea would be to show the effectiveness with just water cleaning then with the degreaser just to see the effects or washing up liquid then degreaser
If I use spray nine as a traffic film remover, before contact wash, ( a couple minutes dwell time)on lower panels would it remove Mequiars ceramic spray wax.
5 parts water to one part chemical, but always have different strength mixed like 100 % for tires and engines, a 50 / 50 for stains or spot treatments and 5 to 1 for everything else keep away from leather and dyed wool carpets
Hi Brian, a couple questions for you as I have a few things to clean and would appreciate some advice. I need to clean a carpet in my "new to me" truck where a cola drink was spilled a couple years ago and never cleaned up by the previous owner. Would you suggest Spray Nine, Tide sport or something else? Also, between Spray Nine and Super Clean, which would you say breaks down and handles engine grease better?
Matt ... Purple Power breaks down engine grease the best.. then Super Clean.. spray9 in that order. For the carpe. TryTide cut7:1. If that doesnt do the trick. I reach for Folex spot and stain remover
Hi again Brian, thanks for the response and I have another question for ya. I was looking into plastic, vinyl, dashboard and leather care stuff and ran across a bunch of people who swear by 303 Aerospace Protectant. Have you ever used it and do you have anything good or bad to say about it?
Anyone use this in their kitchen oven to get rid of Greece? Also I do have a bad smell in the trunk of my car, milk spilled and now it is rotten, and you get a puff of nasty smell when you open the trunk, would this help?
Super Clean would be a bit more economically as you can dilute. for Spraynine to be effective killing germs and viruses...it needs to be full strength.
@@apexdetail85 How do you neutralize spray nine if the ph is that high or should I even worry about that? I'm wondering if that would make light color seats and carpet dirty faster?
Two critiques. The tire wasn't marked in half. Spray Nine had a distinct advantage. When you sprayed the super clean you sprayed less on the part of the tire marked H/T-S and that part of the tire was more than half. Please redo the video and make sure that super clean has equity. Bear in mind that I work for a major package delivery company that uses spray nine. My bias is toward spray nine but your video looks compromised.

Exact review I was looking for
😁👍🏻

Use super clean for exterior detailing and spray nine for interior detailing.
That is EXACTLY how we use it. 👍🏻 Right on Mario!
Thank you for all the great advice and it sure is a blessing to have you share great ideas to the detail community.
The channel doesn't exist without the support of all you guys! Fuel for the fire.... so to speak! 🔥👍🏻
For interior cleaning do you see yourself using it more at a 10:1 ratio or a strong 4:1/5:1 ratio?
Jeremy.... 10/1 if your referring to Super Clean. Spray Nine 5/1 for interiors.

They really are Ken! And thank you. Your support of the channel is greatly appreciated!!
Thank you as always for the great teaching you do!
Spray nine is still my go to for everything. It’s so awesome & economical

@Apex Detail
Do you feel spray nine is more of an All-purpose cleaner or a Degreaser?
I used to work for enterprise rental and sometimes I wonder if I ever cleaned up a crime scene with Zep Spray 9. I know it may have been because there was blood and maybe some vomit. When you spray it on something biological, the stains turned like a yellowish green color . Everything cleans right up with spray 9.
You make great productions!
Good video and super audio!
Thanks!
Thank you for the kind words! I admit the audio can get a bit wonky at times with the voice over I do. But it seems ok for the most part.
Nah, not wonky at all.
Good to know...Thanks again :)

I learned a lot from your videos. This is Ray from Scranton keep up the good work brother

Its happening in a lot of places Tom... meanwhile... in my area.. there are four stores fully stocked! Oh well! More for me!!! 😜
This was better than Ali vs Frazier! Nice work! I'm going to have both of these on hand.
Hahahahaaa... which one?!? Ali/Frazier 1, 2, or 3?
Cant go wrong with both! 👌🏻
All 3 were classic! Smokin' Joe always gave Ali fits!
Mad Wax 15 rounds, 12 rounds, 14 rounds.... I would absolutely agree!!🥊
I love spray nine but i dont like the smell, id rather use super clean at home and for cars. But i use both daily and they are awesome!
Oh man... the was he chose to divide the floor mat bothered me to no end 😂 why didn't he divide it down the middle instead of across?! Arrghhhhh!! 😂

I always have both, I probably use more Spray Nine as I find it on sale more often than Super Clean. I also find them both do an excellent job.
Awesome review! How would you rank Purple Power with these two powerhouses?
It is right there with them Nick. I use PP for wheel wells and engine compartments
A good idea would be to show the effectiveness with just water cleaning then with the degreaser just to see the effects or washing up liquid then degreaser

Yes
Brian thanks for sharing this video!! Never heard of Spray Nine? I will keep this in my mind for future detailing!!
I use Spray 9 on all my fleet vehicles!👍
Bacteria fighter!!!! Keep this product on my list of great product!!!
And kills mold and mildew and much more!👍🏻
Hi brian good morning. Do you dillute spray nine for interior ? Please let me know thank you.
Apparently he doesn’t answer the comments
Would spray nine work on a hardwood floor cause I have a room and the stain on the floor is old and there's some places with grease
yes, just treat it like you would to mop
I would say it was super clean
I’m new starting my own business
For interiors spray 9 is 5:1,can you explain this dilution ratio please and thanks
5 parts water to one part chemical, but always have different strength mixed like 100 % for tires and engines, a 50 / 50 for stains or spot treatments and 5 to 1 for everything else keep away from leather and dyed wool carpets
Why not steam clean after agitation?
Not everyone ... but for those who do.....thumbs way up!

Its one of the best at a retail level. Just remember...ALL retail products are "watered down" for mass production.
Anyone use this in their kitchen oven to get rid of Greece? Also I do have a bad smell in the trunk of my car, milk spilled and now it is rotten, and you get a puff of nasty smell when you open the trunk, would this help?
Turks don't like Greece either.
Looks good... I can't tell the difference both seem about equal
They have the same cutting power...but Spray 9 has much more....Deodorizer, sanitizer, disinfectant
also looking for UV protective .
Which one is lower cost?
Super Clean would be a bit more economically as you can dilute. for Spraynine to be effective killing germs and viruses...it needs to be full strength.
Which one is cheaper ?
Spray nine is $3 cheaper per gallon in my area.
Brian I never tried Super Clean!!!!
😮 What are you waiting for ?
Is spray nine alkaline?
Ph 12.6
Apex Detail thank you!
Sure thing!
@@apexdetail85 How do you neutralize spray nine if the ph is that high or should I even worry about that? I'm wondering if that would make light color seats and carpet dirty faster?
Again 4the Uptenth Time how do they work on a ENGINE BLOCK?
I would use purple power citrus clean. grab you a parts washer brush also.
no difference in performance - price?
Spray Nine is slightly more expensive.

Super Clean Better.
A little bit stronger...but Spray 9 kills germs, viruses, mold mildew that the others cannot.👍
Chemical guys is better in ny opinion
You fraud. Where is the Awesome cleaner?!
