Using S23 from 10 days. Battery life was the only real concern and something I wasn't sure of.
But I am pleasantly surprised. Even after playing games for 4-5 hrs I am getting 22 Hrs from 100 to 20%. 1 day I was busy and didn't play any games and it was at 45% at night before sleeping. Best thing is idle drain is just 1-2 % of full night.

The heating issue is probably due to less heat dissipation system as compared to ultra....heating is directly correlated to battery drain...thats the reason why the manufacturer always create another category for phone with bigger screen
Does cream looks like white after putting up a transparent case? But If I go to green I'll be missing that golden pen tip which stands out with that black pen (pen color is black in all colors but the place where you click and use it, that depends on the color you purchase)

To get the best advantage of the camera sensor, should we always use a 3:4 aspect ratio? Or is it just a myth? I generally use 9:16 or Full Screen - so please do let me know this doubt I've!
colour you have to decide. I like green better overall. And yes 3:4 ratio is better 9:16 is camera is not the best quality because it zooms in.
My S23 was getting quite heated in the initial days. Now it seems under control. I am not so sure of the battery life though. Most of the reviewers only have good thing to say about it. In my usage, without gaming or clicking of many pictures, I am getting around 5 hours SOT from 85%.
Charge it to 100% otherwise the battery won't calibrate.
Yup my S23 also had some heating issues initially, but now it is not that much..Im also getting SOT of around 5.5hrs from 100% to 15%

Great review. I'm looking to replace my 5 year old Pixel 2 will it be an - iPhone, Galaxy or Pixel. I saw that the ability to repair the phone and replace the battery has been improved with the s23. I like that offers a telephoto on the smaller s22 the plus and ultra are too big.

@@vidhantiwari3314 Just to add..i first booked it on flipkart where including card offers and exchange offer for my redmi note 7 pro which was valued at 11.5k....The final price came out as 55,589rs...I went to samsung store and asked them thr price...they said it is 67K...I then showed my online booking in flipkart. They then matched the online price and gave it for 55,500rs
After the exchange i got it for 51k from Amazon the 256gb variant

2. I have paid customs for pitaka but not for casetify. It depends upon courier service and customs.
Are you using any tempered glass? Came across lots of forums where its written that tempered glass reduces the efficiency of the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
I got tempered glass from glazed inc and had to register finger print again after applying screen guard..its very nice
Use tempered glass from spigen and re register finger prints after applyn glass
After Screen Guard, just increase touch sensitivity.

I use it from 85% to 45% and I live in low signal area and use it kind of moderate/ low and Till 40% It almost give me 9-10 hrs and for single sim it can go up to 24 hrs..

I may be able to provide some help as I have purchased Nothing phone 1 for my brother and I am using S23. Both are of entirely different prices. I really liked the haptics of Nothing phone, the OS is also really fluid and it is giving good battery life. I liked the pictures taken from Nothing phone as well and didn't find any dramatic difference between pics taken with my iphone 13 and Nothing. Its a little bulky though and S23 is really compact. But otherwise build quality is excellent in Nothing. I am a little biased towards One UI, else I really enjoyed Nothing phone..I liked it much better after using it in person.

Wait for nothing phone 2 will launch next month there is huge difference between price of s23 and np1 . If you are ready for s23 price wait for np2 still it will be cheaper than s23 though

camera is better in pixel but it's performance is not that great (thanks to trash exynos chip). Also it's ui is still buggy as I've heard in many reviews. S23 has great performance and decent cameras, should be better overall choice imo.
Pixel is a nightmare in long term. They don't age well, also almost nil customer support

Also keep in mind that the S23 will probably see huge camera software upgrades in the coming months. It's always like that with Samsung.

Do u guys face heating issue? The phone gets warm very quicky when playing mobile legends and using spotify. I get 7.5 hours SOT.
My iPhone 13 is much cooler (when playing the same game n during spotify), I get 10hours SOT.
Gaming 1 hour average perday.
The game is probably still not optimised for 8 Gen 2, give the developers some time, as 8 Gen 2 is still relatively new.
I got this phone after selling my s21 ultra, because I wanted to use a compact phone .
I am not able to find a decent screen protector for the phone. I got the scratch guard but it had a glossy look on the phone with slight delays while typing.
Then I got a really expensive spigen tempered glass. It is amazing but it has made the phone really heavy. I have not measure but it has added at least 50 grams to the weight of the phone.
Also I am really looking for a light case too
I use the Spigen liquid air case it's thin it's grippy and slick it weighs almost nothing, and it doesn't turn your phone into a brick! I always use these cases protection is enough for me as for the display i use the panzerglass screenprector, really a solid protector!
@@TheCorne87 i got liquid air case and then returned it. Idk why I found it to be so massive. The spigen tempered glass increased the weight of the phone by nearly 100 grams (264 grams without case). I made it as heavy as z fold 4. I am back on a scratch screen guard now.

every phone heats up while fast charging. Don't use your phone when you are charging it you only increase the heat.

I have s22 ultra too but exynos version. If you have the snapdragon I don't think you should upgrade. I'm personally gonna get the s23 coz I want a small phone but if you're fine with a big phone get the s23 ultra

Should I buy this or iPhone 14? I used iPhone 4,5,6 and then left to Android (reason being motherboard failure in 5 and 6).. S10+ is been doing amazing job till now (almost 4 years) and thoughts of going back to iPhone (nostalgia) are constantly hitting my mind ... Being in India, I see pathetic Google service for Pixel, hence Pixel s out of question. I usually use my phone for 4 years and normal usage are the pattern .. no heavy games or tweaking stuff ..

TSMC has not made the chipset, it's definitely the best foundary. Qualcomm is the one who has made a great chipset.

For my usage its S23 that has performed better because of its standby.
@@shantanuranjandey317 it doesnt depend on my usage. Every phone has a general battery sot rating. Suppose if i use the s23 ultra and the regular s23 obviously the s23 ultra will give me better sot everytime if i do the same exact things on both devices

Update: I have been trying to calibrate the battery by charging to 100%. With my usuage the main battery drain is the screen being constantly on and most of the day it on on 5g(while at office). From 100% to around 16% I am getting SOT of around 5.3 hours on lite performance profile. I think I can push it to 6 to 6.5 hours with battery saver on.
That's not bad in my opinion.

@@anassmaystro depends on useage, but give an idea with my kind of useage(which is fairly light e.g. some games, video streaming, calling with 5g) with adaptive 120Hz, i get around 5.30-6hrs, with standard 60Hz i get close to 8hrs easily.

Aren’t u concerned about facing boot loop issues with S series especially after 8-9 months. I faced this issue with S21+ and had to sell it.
Never happened on any of my S series. And I have used every single one
I had to sold my S23 with a loss of 7K.. battery life is drawback and was getting heated even under below normal usage.

I am getting 2 days battery. I am a moderate user and don't play games.
Can only spend this much amount for good camera. Camera is my priority. Is it's camera worth 75K? If not please suggest a good camera phone with good overall experience. (I have windows pc iphone may not go around with it)
pixel 7 pro might be a better camera phone.
As usual(i.e., as of this post)with Samsung phones, compared to the iPhone Pro and Pixel 7 series, Galaxy phones suck at capturing pictures of moving subjects (e.g. kids) mostly blurry free 😢. Year after year Samsung can't get the latter right. Love the Galaxy S23 otherwise.

It's very hard look every one uses the phone differently under different settings so battery backup differs but u should get 5 hr of sot on an avg from 100-10% battery
