This is definitely sexual harassment and/or a form of stalking. Jon is right, the woman should speak to police - and tell family and friends. Also, the woman not doing anything is basically sending a message to the neighbour to keep doing it. This isn't a coincidence.
@@giveittomestraight it's ALWAYS porn? It IS weird. I get multiple butt dials from a co worker...it's him walking, or yelling at his kids, or random muffled background noise...lol typical "butt dialed" situations. EVERY TIME PORN? That's too coincidental.
1:02:53 agreed with John! I had the same red flag about the neighbor story. A coincidence is once or twice. But several times, all with the same criteria- you're alone, he's alone. It's definitely a fetish, the "dirty little secret". 100% make sure your safety first!!
Either call him out or get an app that records conversations. Yes, there are those available. See even if the police are willing to bug your phone. Likely they won't because there isn't necessarily evidence other than the repeat phone calls. I think calling him out is also a good idea, if you can do it with a friend of yours in ear shot, do it. Embarrassment is gold. You can also answer his call with * you are on a recorded line* and then answer hello? And see what his reaction is. Other option could be cease and desist letter once you gather proof.

Don’t ignore the signs that are right in front of you!! & maybe he thinks you’re liking it idk, definitely get some protection step 1! Then next time he does it get an ipad and record it or something cause screen record doesn’t pick up… then file a report and you have proof to back it up! Lastly mention it to him OR his wife!! During situations like this men are weird & have to always assume the worst so stay safe girl & tbh I like John’s idea about the doll cause then he’ll be like “what the hell she’s weird” then stop messing with you lmao
For the very unplanned pregnancy, it sounds like Rachel and Ross from "Friends." IDK if that's what you were thinking of, but it definitely reminds me of Friends. It sucks though that they don't give each other the opportunity to get to know each other and maybe make it work. Going to a couples therapy may help if that's a possibility.

My wife and I pay $65k a year for daycare for 3 kids. That’s a whole $85k salary after taxes.
Back when I worked at a daycare the employees got free child care. That could make up a huge difference in the pay depending on the number of kids they plan on having.

Gas stoves are no joke! I had a roommate years ago who left the gas on after cooking. Fast forwards hours later, I'm in the middle of cleaning and suddenly felt dizzy and like I was going to pass out. I saw the stove was on so I cut it off and struggled to get out of the house I was so dizzy and sick. Scariest thing ever!!

Definitely get one of those apps that records your calls like another commenter said, then communicate to him in writing that it needs to stop, and then bring the evidence to the police, especially if he continues. I’m so sorry this is happening to you. Once might be an unfortunate accident, but more than that I think has to be intentional.

alex if you know that you left the stove on you should have the responsibility of notifying jon because it’s a bit silly to assume that they would know that you left it on or that you expect them to turn it off when they weren’t the one cooking. i think jon is right in saying he takes no blame because if you’re coming into the kitchen for a purpose (that isn’t switching off the stove that you never turned on) then you probably won’t think to check the stove at all. i find it’s easier to just assume responsible for things you start - like if i put the laundry in i’d expect to take it out unless im not home or we have a pre-arranged agreement. i wouldn’t assume that my partner would take it out because i started the load and the washing machine beeped when they were at home and i wasn’t. idk if that makes sense or helps but yeah i love ur guys’s pod :P

Came here to comment about the girl feeling gaslight regarding eating candy etc. From her bf/husband.
There was only 1 perspective provided which was how he might also have an issue... but there's something else that could be a possibility considering she stated they have already communicated.
There are some guys that have a mindset that they don't want their significant other to lose themselves, gain a few lbs etc. They care about their own looks but also care about the girl maintaining for "him" as well not just for herself.
I say this because I'm in a similar situation. Alrhough I don't get gaslit, I get a donut here and there, coffee chocolate from my s.o... I also get the "I don't want you to gain weight" talk. Screen recording doesn’t capture audio. There are a lot of call audio recording apps available in the App Store. The trials are short and you often have to pay quite a bit for it if you keep it longer than a month, but it’s definitely worth it in cases like this. She definitely needs to take Jon’s advice. Things escalated quickly, especially since this has gone on for a while. She doesn’t know what has been going on in this man’s head when he’s alone in bed and calls her. Gross.

I do believe that waiting a couple of dates to get intimate (sexe) is very benificial if you want to create serious relationship (on both side, men or women). Psychologist do recomend that approch to create more desire and intimate personal connection. But if your not looking into serious relationship, go for it, and also that doesnt mean that if you have relation on your first date that it wont get serious... Just the % probability are lower ;)

She should record the phone calls--this is possible with most phones. Just google instructions for your phone so that you are ready the next time it happens. Then she can decide how she wants to handle it. She may want to reach out to a women's abuse group in her area for advice. But take it seriously. I've had friends who have had stalkers and unfortunately, the behavior tends to escalate until it is addressed head on.

I would absolutely file a police report. You might think he’s innocent but what if you confront him, tell him you’ll tell his wife and decides he won’t let that happen, so he attacks you/kills you. I’d definitely tell people close to you and just see if it continues. Especially if it only happens when you’re alone, he obviously knows that you are.

My boyfriend (fiance now) had a similar situation. He had a dog from a previous relationship, i never questioned his intentions of keeping the pet because ya love em. But he himself was overwhelmed when not having time for other things because of taking care of this pet. He also said himself it wasnt a convenient time for him to have the responsibility of a dog. I had to nudge him which was hard because of not wanting to push him with something if he didnt wanna follow through. I offered to help him train the dog, overall it was hard for him but he let the dog go because it was his decision he needed support with. Not because I thought he was choosing a dog over me? Ex relationship or not whos gonna be threatened over a pupper? He wanted the best for his pet and realized he wasnt in the position to. A partner will help another through the obstacles if its important to them.
