timestamp: 18:58 - the family forcing the brother to be around his Ex after she ended their engagement is because the ex wants him back and is using his family to help her. This is unbelievably disrespectful, and their loyalty is misplaced.

Honestly, if my partner would ask me to stay quiet about my friend's husband cheating on her, I would definitely question my life choices and how I ended up with a man thinking like that. I wonder how he would act if it was his friend's wife cheating. I'm kind of disgusted ny sich a behaviour

Coming from a woman with kids who questioned staying in a bad marriage for my kids… Kids are NEVER an excuse to stay in a toxic, unhealthy, unfulfilling or unloving relationship. NEVER. You guys are absolutely right about that. If anything, having kids should be your excuse to leave faster. All you are doing is setting them up for failure in their own future relationships by showing them that being in that bad relationship is okay or “normal”. Absolutely fucking not. Leave as fast as you can. Of course if there is hope and love and trust and respect, fight forever. But most of the time you guys tell people to leave, those core factors are already missing. Keep on preaching!!

You two starting the pod fighting right out the gate is the most hilarious and relatable shit I have ever seen! My wife and I are best friends but if I worked with her everyday then started a pod after a long day I have to imagine this is what it would look like. So fun to watch and it makes me happy to see you guys show what a real relationship looks like and how you still can make each other laugh hard through the love beef! Keep it going!

Three hours is NOT an exaggeration unfortunately. My ex has a porn addiction and I could have swore I typed this message myself. Word for word. I lived it for years. And DENY DENY DENY is all you get. And yeah “how does he have any skin left” what’s one of the nastiest parts about this, is dude would come back with SCABS on his shit… then occasionally try to have sex with me and I’d be like uh no that shits scabbed up and I’m not touching it nor is it going inside me! AND HE WOULD DENY THE SCABBS! Saying it was just dry or some bullshit.
I would tell him he has a porn addiction and it’s made his threshold lower and that’s why our sex was less than and often he would go soft while having sex with me.
Dude, talk about a shit show of emotional abuse and just all the things…. It’s so sad and it happens more often than not.

    • @nothingtoseehere9851
      @nothingtoseehere9851 9 місяців тому +1

you made some really good points I dont think many people are comfortable saying... porn addicts do have trouble staying hard for actual physical intimacy because the real thing is nothing like the fantasy from the provocative camera angles, with the waxed and beautiful people in their best lighting... so they can lose interest in actual sex with their actual partner. Even reach a place where they resent or are no longer attracted to their real partner because they don't live up to the fantasy. I know mine couldn't be intimate with me for months on end, (also told me it was dry skin when I finally said something because I was more concerned than I was eager to finally be included) and at some point I gave up trying, until I caught him being intimate with a coworker dispelling the illusion that he had performance anxiety and realizing it was never about that, it was about the fantasy, about attaining the unattainable, and once he ended the affair, he treated me like garbage for 2 years (even refused to wear his wedding ring) while proposing putting me on reddit as a porn star (I refused) and asking for more and more demeaning intimate acts to "make him happy" by humiliating me. Theres a lot wrong to unpack there, but it started with porn addiction.

23:00 & 39:00 tell someone theyre being cheated on as soon as you know they are - IT COULD SAVE THEIR LIFE. Diseases are forever. the kids coming from a broken home is not the wifes fault when the husband is cheating.... the wife deserves to know the risk he's putting her in when he's sleeping around. Also many of us grow up with bad examples of relationships from parents who refuse to let go despite the toxic pairing - and many of us (me too) end up in the same place because its what we were shown and don't realize is bad for us until its too late.

Red flag the husband that has said for their wife to keep quiet
He's condoning it and that is high key a worry to his inner moral compass too
If I was the wife no matter the difficulties I'd be loyal to my bestie and the kids no questions
I appreciate children are involved but hurt now and heal sooner
Yes it would suck but it shouldn't be any guilt apart from the man and mistress
This person deserves a best friend not another alliance member
    Tell her!
In the long run she'll forgive you
    I wish them the best

40:50 Coming from living inside a broken home, I would have much rather been from a broken home rather than lived inside a broken home. You feel the turmoil between your parents when they no longer want to be together. A lot of my childhood trauma stems from living inside of that turmoil and my parents unhappiness.
Do not stay together for your children. It’s not healthy for anyone inside the home.

I fought longer for a marriage I should’ve left long ago. Even if it’s the spouse that has the problem - and for some reason working with a mediator isn’t happening or they’re not going - Go YOURSELF.
Facing a person that you’ve trusted and loved that has wronged you so much, it can be hard to know when to forgive, where/how/what boundary lines to draw..I wish so bad I would’ve gone to a therapist sooner to talk things through and navigating when or if to let go of someone you loved and believed in.

the story of the husband that was on Tinder w/in months of marriage is lame - then to be caught (obviously) hiding not only being on dating app but being on more than one - how sad for the wife and kids - why can't people take marriage seriously - the excuse of feeling insecure is lame - talk to your wife & partner and at least let her help you - going out to of your marriage to "get confidence" is weak!
Sorry harsh answers but I have no patience for people who purposely go out and cheat especially in marriage

For the 1st question. If him being on his phone bothers you, talk to him. I know how that could make us as women feel used. My husband and i literally right after sex just sit there (him still on top) & just hug and carress one another, tell eachother we love you and we do that for about 5 minutes then we get up to clean off then lay down together, watch a show and doze off. Or you could always cuddle up on his chest and watch what he's watching on his phone.

Jumped on here to let you know that not all healthy couples fight. My bf (48M) (of 5yrs) and I (36F) do not fight, we have disagreements or discussions but we do not fight, no yelling 😅 Recently, one of my aunts (53f) told us “how boring” because we told her about us not fighting. We might be boring to other’s eyes but that’s the way we like it. Drama free!! We both had traumatic past relationships. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Anyway, you’re both funny, love the dynamic. Love your reels! 😂 they’re hilarious!

Kinda sounds like your scared to loudly disagree and that doesn’t necessarily mean your relationship is healthy, just like arguing isn’t always healthy in some relationships. For some of us we feel comfortable with our partners to be vulnerable in ways that might not make sense and let them see a side of us we would never show the rest of the world, because with that one person you feel safe enough to let go of all the walls we surround ourselves with when dealing with everyone else.

My cousin had a baby w an abuser, whom she left, and got back w her amazing angel ex bf, whom she married. Angel man adopted her son around 2yrs old. Abusive ex signed away rights and eventually was put in jail for some reason or another. Fast forward. Angel husband becomes real angel when he lost his battle with cancer. The child is now in high school, and has two half bros, but does not know he was adopted and has a different bio dad. Fast forward a couple more years. Child is now in college. Gets contacted by a half sibling asking to meet up. She had apparently gotten a list of siblings she had from abusive ex/bio dad, which included my second cousin. That’s how he learned that his angel father, who he was still mourning, wasn’t his real bio dad. That his real sperm donor was a pos who beat on his mom, including while pregnant, and was incarcerated for a long time, and oh yeah, he’s got like 10 half siblings. It was not good. 😳

There are some things you have to consider when trying to break unsettling news that will destroy a family. Remember, you are the one that is wielding the secondary axe (her husband is holding the main axe to destroy the relationship). Think before you act.

At 41:00, I think its more damaging to show your kids to just throw in the towel just because of a thought and taking the easy road. I think that show kids when the road get tough, you just bale. I say not because you got married and decided to make them vows to each other. If not than they fucked up by choosing that person. I think that is the reason now I think there should be some prerequired to getting married or filing for a marriage certificate, like be in a committed relationship for a time period, taking a quiz of the other person, and/or living together for a time. BUT now a days people are just so quick to just jump into a marriage without understand the other person completely or just because they want long term commitment or because they just see the honeymoon faze and not willing to work things out when tried as a couple in the hard times.
