I am a devoted Christian and if someone invites me to a wedding and there will be alcohol involved, I just won’t drink. It’s an event celebrating your loved one not celebrating alcohol. That’s my personal opinion ❤️

Same! We don't drink and we don't dance. At my brothers wedding, there was both drinking AND dancing. We still went, we just didn't partake in those parts of the wedding.

I think that the fact mom and sister wont go is really about them feeling like sister should be practicing their religion too and it’s about proving a point “if you’re not doing what we think you should we won’t participate.”

I never comment on these videos, but I feel the need to after listening to the bit about the woman faking cancer. It may not seem relevant, however it’s extremely relevant when it impacts all cancer patients. This terrible person is taking away from those actually dealing with real cancer, and breaks trust in communities wanting to support someone going through cancer. So many people hesitate to support others now thanks to all these terrible people lying about a terrible disease. Absolutely we should 100% out anyone who has the audacity to even think it’s okay to fake cancer. Coming from a 3 year brain cancer survivor (hopefully many more years). PS love you guys and congratulations!
My coworker had a good friend of the opposite sex. Her husband wasn’t comfortable with it and she was so upset about him not trusting her……But then they started sleeping together 🙈
I have an actual service animal who does well in cars, buses, trains, etc. and flying with her was such a traumatic experience that I won't do it again. She hated it and got so scared that I was worried she may pass out. Not to scare you, but I would definitely discuss it with his vet and have a plan.

I hate to break it to you but being a parent will become your entire identity. Especially first kid; for the first few years. There’s just so much that happens and you’re learning so much.
I’m conflicted on the spending time alone with friends of the opposite sex. My best friend is a guy and we have been friends for over ten years. We’ve traveled to hockey games and definitely gone to dinner and hung out alone. My husband does know him and is friends with him as well. We have NEVER had a moment or anything like that between us, ever. He’s truly just a friend to me. I think this depends on your relationship with your partner and your friendship with the person.

As a girl with close guy friends and having been in a relationship for the last 17 years i can say that i cool with my boys in a group, one on one or with my man. It's always been important to me since we got together and I've stayed consistent with that. However, it is important to make sure that your man knows those guys and that those guys know your man and try to have a friendship with your man. Because after all of these years, ultimately now they are our friends. My man gets that they are my closest friends and just like i want girl time with female friends, i want time with my guys too. On that same note, because I'm friends with guys i always make it a point to make friends with their girlfriends, because i know if i want them in my life i need to make sure their girlfriends know me too

OMG I have been waiting for someone who has watched 'One Day' - I WAS SO PISSED!!! I confess I may have done it to myself because I had never heard of it before, but wanted to watch it. Then, I read an article about it saying that the original author said it was written that way to remind people that life is unfair. 🤬 F*** YOU, NOBODY NEEDS TO BE REMINDED THAT LIFE IS UNFAIR!!! I hope so too; it is a real challenge for service animals when other dogs are poorly behaved. I am constantly on guard with my dog. Thankfully airlines can (and will, from what I have seen) intervene if the dog is obviously misbehaved.

I’m so curious to see how Alex answers questions when it comes kids in certain situations cuz she has said fuck them kids before lol I’m not hating at all since she didn’t have kids then I can understand where she’s coming from on those particular questions but I’m just interested in seeing if she changes how she answers those questions. I love this podcast I look forward to watching every Tuesday.

About the "fake" cancer - how does the new wife knows the ex does not have the cancer? Maybe she just decided not to tell her ex because he's her ex?
I also have a brother who was bad at relationships and tried to warn his new girlfriend about it & instead of walking away because of the red flags they got married and now the relationship between us is awkward because she doesn’t understand how we could “talk about our own brother that way” even though she’s experienced the stuff we warned her about we’re still the bad guys… so maybe she won’t turn away and she will marry him. Sometimes you just can’t save people 😂

Bro the one that did not wanted to go to the wedding because someone next to her is drinking.. Lets say I had an encounter with a woman in a supermarkets where I putted out pork meat out of the fridge (it was packed in plastic) and she walked beside me and started yelling how I should get that far away from her… I didn’t even do anything beside taking it out for myself and she happened to just be there also. Some people are just weird.
Neither my boyfriend or I drink alc for different religious reasons, & we still love & are present for our friends & family who do drink. Like someone else commented, you’re not there for the alcohol you’re there for someone you supposedly care about. I agree with Alex & Jon that there must be something else… 👀
As a guy of mediocre attractiveness (based on app algorithm. I'm totally a 11/10....as stated by a accredited source known as my Mom), dating apps as pretty much just bots or girls linking their insta or OF. It is skewed to the point that 5% of women match with 1% "hot guys" while 99% are left swiping right on around 90% of women on the app. The apps are prioritizing likes but I'm sure alot of people pay so it makes no difference. It's like jumping from a free line to a paid "VIP" line that's just a long. 😂

I'm sorry, but opposite sex friends while married are absolutely NOT ok. Idgaf what other people say, it's about respect & being mature for your partner, not trust. That shit is so immature & I agree with Alex; someone has feelings.
I don’t drink and I’m Christian, but I just don’t drink because it never tasted good to me not necessarily religious reasons, but my husband is Muslim and doesn’t drink due to his religion. We both have attended family’s events and weddings who are drinking. It literally has nothing to do with us if someone else is drinking, so I agree with Jon here. It seems like this sister is using religion as an excuse to not attend her sister’s wedding reception, when in reality the underlying issue is perhaps she wants to punish her sister or make a point by not going. Maybe she thinks it will make her sister regret her own personal choices of drinking etc. If my sister pulled something like this AND my mother, then I would cut out communication with them completely.
I tell my best friend I want just friend time lol. They don’t get offended by that, I wouldn’t either.

As a general rule being married for 10 years I have guys that are friends but the general rule is no hanging out alone… and the same for my husband it’s just a respect thing and also its just not smart … you just don’t put yourself in positions like that alone even if your not feeling anything towards that person there’s always the risk

There is no reason to no go to a wedding reception because you don’t drink. No one will force you to drink!! I have been religious my whole life and have never had an alcoholic beverage, this has everything to do with the sibling and mother of the bride being self righteous. And if they are concerned with their sister not being religious, this won’t convince her to think more like you.

The airline is allowed to ask what kind of service dog and what tasks your dog preforms to help disabilities.
There are also great dog shipping company that can do it for you.
They already did but having the dog in the cargo hold is so dangerous. It's not temperature-regulated and your dog is completely at the mercy of the elements. If your dog reacts to the sedation there's also no one around to check on them. They can also get lost just like luggage does. While I personally couldn't lie about my dog being a working service dog, I also understand it.
@victoriastrub6539 I have service dog so I don't tolerate it. Have had many puppies shipped on planes and even imported dogs. No issues you just have to check weather and book last minute.

I have to completely disagree on the wedding reception issue. There are many people that take their religion seriously and avoid places that serve alcohol. Especially when you come from another country that prohibits alcohol. I don’t know enough about this woman’s story to know what religion this is but I can see how she is willing to attend the ceremony and leave during the reception due to her religion and there being alcohol present. In my personal opinion, she’s still supporting her sister by attending the ceremony. I just think many people forget that not everyone lives the same way as they do, and that’s ok.
