On my 2021, 2x4, sport: I just put a 2.25 inch front leveling spacer and 295x65R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers (34" exactly on the stock wheels... No rubbing. Looks Great. On a road I previously got 22mpgs now I get 21mpgs... If you install mid guards from Fords accessory book the tires will rub on tight turns. Tires are super quiet.
Good to know, Thanks! I've got a 2021 XLT Sport 4x4 with 20's. So my 285/65/20 Hankook Dyna pros AT2 on stock rims should fit no problem. Wonder if the 2021's have more wheel well room than the 2020's?
I like your set up. I got a 2018 STX supercew 4x4 this past January. I'm still doing the research for the mods I want. It's nice to know that 35's will fit with just a 2.5 inch level. I'm leaning more toward a 275/65R20 wich is a 34. It all depends on what leveling struts I pick. You drive a sharp truck though.
Looks great! I’m getting a leveling kit installed this week with a set of 35 11.50 20 on stocks on my 2015 king ranch can’t wait love the look of that set up!
Thanks for mentioning the weight difference as it affects mpg. Most of the time people report mpg drops going with bigger heavier tires. But it may be mostly switching from a highway tread to a more agressive tread. In this case you had a more apples to apples comparison.
Nice looking truck, I grew up on the north side of the 10rc river, in Limesone County. There use to be a lot of nice dirt roads along that river. Nice truck
Beautiful. But you need black wheel well liners in the rear. Will make it so sharp. And check out the smooth black Diamondback HD bed cover. Would look awesome on your truck. It's what I'm planning on.
Can you do a follow up video on this, and pics of stills of your truck on level ground with some pics of the tires wellls. Like to see the distance between the crash bars. Truck is perfect
I now have 20x9 -0 off set wheels . They rub slightly on the crash bars . Did not have any rubbing with the factory wheels . I’m adding a 4” lift so I’ll post an update video.
@Jesse Robinson it dose at full lock when I’m backing up but it’s not that bad just a little noise it can’t break anything but for stock height 2wheel drive 35” not bad hitting bumps it doesn’t I’ve even jumped it nothing
Thank you this was very helpful. My 2020 F150 has 20 inch wheels, and I have been agonizing over should I go with 18" wheels with a bigger tire or 20's. You help me make up mind. I'm going with 20" Fuel Battle Axes with 305/60R20 or 305/55R20.
Great video. Can you see how close your tire is to the upper control arm? I want to run your setup but with a 315/60R20. I know it will be close. Thanks
Have you had an opportunity to flex the suspension to see if any rubbing occurs? Does it rub the UCA at all? It looks fantastic! Look even better with some rear wheel liners in the rear to black out that space.
Mine looks like this one. Mine has 54K miles, 2015 and is the biggest piece of crap I've ever bought. Spent 5500 bucks on recent repairs. Repairs dealership should have caught on previous visits. Mine sits in the driveway while I go to work in the wife's car. Why? We don't feel safe in it and when time comes (hopefully soon) we can trade in (or get a decent scrap value). Sad mine is a Platinum top of the line, weather tech mats, Roll and lock tonneau cover. Dealer saw me coming when they sold this nightmare new. :(
I installed this same exact setup as the video on my 16’ 5.0 over the weekend. With wheels mounted and balanced plus TPMS sensors it was roughy $2500-Lol. That stung a little bit.
Nice looking truck! Wonder if the 2021 F150's have more room in the wheel wells? Hoping my 285/65/20's Hankook Dyna pro AT2's will fit with no mods, besides a level kit?
Looks great!! I'm going to do the same. I was looking at 33X12.50X20. I have a 2" level, so I think the 295/65/20 is better to fill the space. What do you think?
I have a 2020 platinum with a2.5” level kit. I want to put 35’s on it. You mentioned an offset... I want to put 1.5” spacers to get the tires out a little more. I do not want to cut anything... Do you think it would work?
Hey there - great video and love the truck. Question: Do you know the width of your factory rims? I'm interested in the same tires for my truck but didn't know if my factory rims were wide enough at 7.5". Thanks!!
Delta Mike, I have a 2019 F150 xlt fx4 and trying to debate between 285/65/20 or 295/65/20. I’m also deciding between nitto ridge grappler, toyo at3 or bfg ko2. I’ve heard the nitto ridge grappler has had issues getting to balance and they are so so in rainy weather? What has your experience been with them so far? Thanks so much, great looking truck.
Definitely want these for my truck. I have a 2in level do you think they will work out? I have 20in factory wheels also. Wishing I went with the 4in lift to avoid all these what ifs. Thanks in advance
A year later and I finally needed new tires. I pulled the trigger and I got the 295/60/20 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/Ts. They are great tires on my stock Lariat wheels and it really makes my truck look great. I'm rubbing at full lock somewhere, I'm thinking the upper control arms bc I only have the 2in puck. I hope to do a video soon to help others like you did for me. Thanks again
Any idea what the height of your truck is or the tallest opening of your garage is? I'd like to do exactly what you've done, but my garage opening is exactly 80.5" high.
I’m looking at that exact size for the tires and I have a 2.5” level in the front of my ‘13 f150 but I want a slightly more agressive stance than the one in the video. What size spacer would you recommend if any and would I have to trim or remove any crash bars, covers, etc?
I’m looking at purchasing one similar to this it’s dark blue with all windows tinted, 80k miles, tonneau cover, and nice custom wheels and 35” tires for 35k. What do you think?

This video sold me on this tire size. Thank you.
Truck looks good sir!! It's aged well. I would have never guessed it was a 2015
When people take care of them, they age really well
Your set up is fire. I’m about to upgrade to that size tire. Love the stock wheel look with those tires.

Man I got a great deal from Economy Tire in Albertville on some Ridge Grapplers
Thanks for the video I have the truck so now I know what to expect
Exactly the kinda video I wish there were more of
That is exactly the size I'm going for, great job!!!
Damn good looking truck. Hope to own one one day
Love your truck bruh..
Looks sharp.
I just put the same tires on my truck no level kit stock Height 2wd no trim and it doesn’t rub
@Jesse Robinson it dose at full lock when I’m backing up but it’s not that bad just a little noise it can’t break anything but for stock height 2wheel drive 35” not bad hitting bumps it doesn’t I’ve even jumped it nothing

Beautiful truck bud

Excellent upgrade brother 👍
I needed this exact Video! Thanks
I prefer black, but this is a nice looking truck 👍
I have an update video with new wheels.
Hi love the look of your setup is that stock 20 in ford wheels and are you running a spacer with your wheels
Great video. Can you see how close your tire is to the upper control arm? I want to run your setup but with a 315/60R20. I know it will be close. Thanks
315s will require spacers
Looks great
Have you had an opportunity to flex the suspension to see if any rubbing occurs? Does it rub the UCA at all? It looks fantastic! Look even better with some rear wheel liners in the rear to black out that space.
You’ll hit the crash bar if you max out the travel.

Nice vid Mike. New subscriber here. 👍🏻
Why the fuck does Ford not seem the trucks level from the factory? They look 10x better leveled. Gorgeous ride
I just paid double what you paid for your set. Prices went through the roof.
I installed this same exact setup as the video on my 16’ 5.0 over the weekend. With wheels mounted and balanced plus TPMS sensors it was roughy $2500-Lol. That stung a little bit.
Love the truck doing the same to mine tomorrow, what tool box you running?
Tractor supply !
I wonder if the previous owner had the 285’s before the level? Think they would fit on stock suspension?
Love the look on stock rims, but what did this do to stock throttle response? I have a 2018. Thanks!
No change noticed. Only change was after tuning and it has noticeable gains.
Hey brother awesome video I just wondering tho were you running spacers on this set up?
No
I have a chance to buy a truck just like this. Same yr. Same engine. 4x4
What are your thoughts on the truck so far?
Good looking setup. Do they rub at all at full lock and did you do any plastic trimming? I'm wanting to run a similar setup on my 18 F150.
No rubbing at all. No trimming .
No rubbing at all. No trimming !
Did you get the 35's on your '18? I am looking to do the same.
@@quickboat22 Yes, 295/65r20. 2.5" leveling kit. They dont rub at all and I didn't trim anything.
@@codyirvin1094 Thanks! Any pics? I was thinking 34's but not if 35's work! Which leveling kit did you buy? What tires? Mileage? Thanks in advance.

Close .

Depends on if you want width or fill out the fender wells. 33x 12.50 will be a little wider out the fenders , but look small from the side.
I have a 2020 platinum with a2.5” level kit. I want to put 35’s on it. You mentioned an offset... I want to put 1.5” spacers to get the tires out a little more. I do not want to cut anything... Do you think it would work?
Avoid running spacers…. But they’ll fit on stock rims
@@delta_mike3918 I would like to use 12.5 wide tires will it rub with that width?
I got a 2015 f150 do you need a level kit to fit the 295s
Hey there - great video and love the truck. Question: Do you know the width of your factory rims? I'm interested in the same tires for my truck but didn't know if my factory rims were wide enough at 7.5". Thanks!!
I believe you’re correct on 7.5”

I’d go 295 65 20 if you have a level kit on stock wheels. I wanted toyo AT3s but they were not in stock. Happy with the ridge grapplers all around .
@@delta_mike3918 hey man did you have to run spacers with them? Did you clear the upper control arm?
Nope!
Any rubbing on the upper control arm?
Truck looks great. Do you happen to know what brand window visors you have?
Avs
What lift kit did you go with
If I do 3 inch coil overs lift and run these tires I shouldn’t have any rub right

What did your mpg look like after this?
17-18 highway
do you by chance know if this same tire size would fit a 2019 ford f150 with a 2" leveling kit? really love the look of this
They will with factory rims
Any idea what the height of your truck is or the tallest opening of your garage is? I'd like to do exactly what you've done, but my garage opening is exactly 80.5" high.
I don’t but I do know it wouldn’t fit in a parking garage the other day .
Buddy did you ever get a new squad car???
nice truck. Do you know the height of it with the 295/s? cheers
35X11.50 basically
35.1 x11.8

I wouldn’t advise running spacers. I’m currently running 20x9 +1 with the same tires and trimmed the crash bars.
Did you have to install spacers? If so what size
2” front
I’m looking at purchasing one similar to this it’s dark blue with all windows tinted, 80k miles, tonneau cover, and nice custom wheels and 35” tires for 35k. What do you think?
I paid 31k with 91,000 miles , leveled with 33s. So that seems fair .
If it’s not a platinum trim or king ranch that price is high IMO
@@delta_mike3918 good to know thank you for the response. I have started the buying process I will have it by next Monday! I’m so excited
It’s a 2015 f150 platinum, it’s just the 4x4 not the fx4 version but it is beautiful. It has the 5.0L v8
Ok so it ended up coming to 36900 after everything but I feel so happy!! Cant wait to get it cleaned up and at my home!! Next week that is
Rim’s it’s aluminum or chrome?
have to raise the rear end that truck is not level. a 2.5in " leveling kit " doesnt level the truck
If I raise my truck 3 inches I could put those 18 wheels and those tires
Do you have a leveling kit in it?
Use FORScan to set tire size!
I’ve corrected the tire size through my tuner.
My factory tires are 275/55r20 will it fit that size?
Yes .
Do they rub
HPD?
Upper control arm rub at all?
No
Is that tint legal lol
33”?
These are 35.1/11.6
