Really nice rig! I am working on building up my 2002 TJ. Currently running 35's and eventually might do 37's.
Im building this exact setup on my '95 YJ. I already have the suspension done. I have axles from a '13 F250 with 4.88s and e-lockers. I have a Jasper LQ9 and 4L80E trans from a '05 Denali. Next is the 2-speed Atlas t-case... Can you elaborate on the issues with your torque converter in lower gears with the Atlas? I wanted a lower ratio in my axles, but 4.88 is low as you go with that year. Im scared I wont achieve a super low crawling speed with 4.88 axle gears... Thats an awesome rig man. Major work goes into that many changes!
badass dude - love the custom work done here. I got my second YJ (1990) about a month and a half ago been looking to learn more about fab work. Keep it up looking forward to seeing where you take this
Hey bro I have a question I am from Australia and there’s absolutely zero jeep like that (so well engineered) so I always wondered how much a jeep like that goes for in dollar if you had to sell it?
@@tariklaarej2259 a lot depends on the area of the country that you’re in. In the southeast this rig can go for anywhere between 25-50k. Once I get through with this re build it’ll be full hydro with RCV shafted Dana 60 and a fully built out 14 bolt. After that it’ll be a 60k rig to the right buyer.
So are you running the bilstein 5100(0-2”) and then running the block on top of the strut to get your 4”?
I want to know the same 👍🏻
Great job!!
Nice rig! what are your spring rates?
This video sold me on this tire size. Thank you.
Very nice rig, congrats
Your set up is fire. I’m about to upgrade to that size tire. Love the stock wheel look with those tires.
Looks great! I’m getting a leveling kit installed this week with a set of 35 11.50 20 on stocks on my 2015 king ranch can’t wait love the look of that set up!
Bad ass jeep , can you do a video on the superduty in the background?
LS??? Suck it up and stay with MOPAR!!!
You will not find an easier engine to swap and manage with an older Jeep than an LS. Plus they’ll run forever.
@@delta_mike3918 Maybe so but I worked for a shivy dealer years ago and will never own one. back in the 700R4 days, they had a service manual with updates over 3in thick. I was the 5.7 and 6.2 diesel Mechanic, what junk! The Jeep looks real nice though. Been looking for one myself.
Everyone is putting 35 and I’m trying to figure out how to put 37 with 17 inch rims 😂
How’s it holding up?
WICKED LOOKING SET UP MAN!!!
That tj is pretty close to my dream build
Nice video, I know this is 2 years ago but Just what I was looking for. I'm about to put the Bilstein 5100s on my 17 Lariat and wanted to be able to put 35s on it afterward. I believe I have the tow package, so I'll put the shocks on the lowest ring which should be 2.5" to make it level. Gives me confidence for adding the 35s, I have a set of XD 20"x10" wheels with a slight offset which should match up perfectly and give me about the same look you have here. I'm 58 so a lift kit at this age is not for me. thanks.
Buddy did you ever get a new squad car???
Nice jeep
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen that thing around Huntsville before very nice man I hope one day my 04 tj is that bad ass
Would a bigger stall help with fighting torque converter at low low range?
Yes then you have the other problem with more heat.
Beautiful. But you need black wheel well liners in the rear. Will make it so sharp. And check out the smooth black Diamondback HD bed cover. Would look awesome on your truck. It's what I'm planning on.
Looks badass🤟
What lift kit did you go with
What brand deflectors on the windows are these? Looks clean!
love it. what belly pan skid are you using that has the rear link mounts? no issues hitting the rear coilovers with the tires when flexed?
Beautiful truck bud
Very nice
This Jeep is sick would love to see more wheeling videos and walk around vids of it
If you could choose any Jeep to get started building a rig similar to this one, would you go down the same path or choose something else?
That’s a very tricky question! I was fortunate to get into this jeep at a good price point with the LS and axles already in it. Just depends on your budget really.
@@delta_mike3918 I’ve been searching around and have found a 06 TJ with the inline 6 and a manual trans and it has the dana 44 axles with a 4 inch Rough Country lift and 35-12.50X17 BFG mud terrain on 17x10 Raceline beadlocks with 150k miles and the out the door price is 10k.
plan on running the 295/65r20 on the stock rims, if i ran wheel spacers as well would i rub anything
Sweet build America 🇺🇸 🦅💪🏼🛠️ 🖕🏻FJB
love that jeep!
Love the plate! In service to wheel!!!
Badass Jeep!!
Awesome. Any issues with the tires hitting the lower link when you turn?
By maybe an 1/8th
Man that rig is badass.
What’s your exhaust set up
Sanderson shorty headers to 3” dynomax bullet.
@@delta_mike3918 it’s a sweet tj I’m just about to start my LS swap
I got a 2015 f150 do you need a level kit to fit the 295s
Yes would love to see a walk around video sweet tj I’m about to start the LS swap in my tj
gonna need a walk around with build info!
OMG!! Is this your TJ? I have it as my iPhone screen saver I love it so much. I’m building a TJ & hoping to create something similar to this!!
Great video. Can you see how close your tire is to the upper control arm? I want to run your setup but with a 315/60R20. I know it will be close. Thanks
315s will require spacers
If I do 3 inch coil overs lift and run these tires I shouldn’t have any rub right
'Promosm'
Hi love the look of your setup is that stock 20 in ford wheels and are you running a spacer with your wheels
I did a 2.5 inch leveling kit on ny 2017 xl 2wd. Not sure if 35s will fit or if i should go with 33s.
Looks great!! I'm going to do the same. I was looking at 33X12.50X20. I have a 2" level, so I think the 295/65/20 is better to fill the space. What do you think?
Depends on if you want width or fill out the fender wells. 33x 12.50 will be a little wider out the fenders , but look small from the side.
Comp elite felt way better to me. I don't like the way the back felt on the podium elite and I tried two of them.
